I'm quite familiar with the area between Faro and Sagres, and a few years ago I enjoyed driving from Ericeira to Faro, stopping along the way in many beautiful spots. great i had one of these but i was never happy with the breaks , felt i had to work hard to ensure i stopped , garage couldn't improve them so it had to go
Hi, what seats have you fitted in the front. I assume you have the little helper springs on the rear axle. I have fitted some from a scooter to mine which lifts it well and still has good travel.
Hi there! ... Thanks for your comment. I'm actually not sure what seats they are??!! 😅 The guy I bought Blanche from works on VW transporters. He was stripping one out and messaged me to see if I wanted these seats. They were already aftermarket on the VW. I roughly measured them and said ok ... £40! 👌🏻🙂👍🏻 ... And they bolted straight in!! 😊 ... I also didn't realise until I started fitting them, that they are fully electric! Raising, tilting and reclining! ... And they are so comfortable! The original seats were so awful! 🤣 Sorry I can't tell you anymore than that. As for 'helper springs' ... I'm not entirely sure? But that's a good shout and I'll look into it. I have a fair bit of stuff in the back for my travels but there's still play to spare on the rear suspension and I always take it easy round corners anyway!
