I have made the dosa batter following your video it did fermented but dosa turned out to be like rotis.The reason is we have to add some Chana dal and poha to make it crisp and golden.Only rice and urat dal is not sufficient to make dosas.Thank you
I am a South Indian . We don't add poha to dosa batter . We make it the same way as she said but the ratio is different . We add some more urid dhall .
I put my Idli batter with covering with soft white cloth in Sun light it can fermented after 3-4 hours very easily and in winter it will take more time but this is easiest process

sure, Just quick recipe: Take 1 cup White urad dal, add 1 tbsp fenugreek seed in it. Wash and soak them together for 4-5 hours. In another bowl soak 3 cups of idly rice soak for 4-5 hours. Grind dal to smooth paste and transfer in a bowl. Now grind rice smooth. Mix well together and keep it in hot place for fermentation for 8-10 hours. Batter is ready.
