Good video... A Fact I know about fermention...If the batter is stored in container on wooden base n direct contact with floor/marble is avoided,it helps in good fermentation
A south Indian would faint at the bread n baking soda/ powder tips..always mix idli batter with hand..maintain temperature between 37-40 deg cel for perfect fermentation..
By just putting one slice of bread, I could get a perfect khameer in just 5 hrs when the utensil with the batter was placed in another large steel dabba. I was thrilled to see the perfect batter in such low temperature of 7 degrees. I'm a lover of South Indian fóod but had to give up on it in winters...but now we can relish it's taste even in severely harsh cold season by this simple tip. Not only that the batter had risen considerably, but had also acquired the reasonable amount of sourness as well to get that great taste
I came here just to confirm if sunlight trick works. I have tried sunlight trick in monsoon season, it worked at that time. But now in winter season, i was anxious if that trick will work 😀
