Hope you’re ok. ❤️
Miss your Videos. Your my favourite booktuber
Lesley I miss you. You're my favourite booktuber and one of my favourite youtubers in general. I hope you can come back soon :)
mcgonagallerys anyone know what's up?
Yay Flavia!! There will be one more book in the series. He has an audio interview with Jane Entwistle, who is the narrator of the audiobooks, on his Facebook page. I highly recommend it! The audiobooks are amazing if you haven't listened to them yet.
You have made me intrigued to read Maugham in past videos and when I found Of Human Bondage I had to pick it up. I loved it! Will definitely read more of his work and continue to listen to your recommendations 😊
Gone with the wind for the first time, the first two land of stories by Chris Colfer, Clocks by Agatha Christie, and The lion the witch and the wardrobe by CS Lewis.
Thunderbolt Kid 💖! I remember losing it when he was describing the 'culinary prowess' of the women who cooked for the church? Family? Can't remember the event, but his memories of the food brought tears to my eyes 😂 xox
I really love your videos! You talk slowly and that helps me to learn English.
Lovely as usual 😍😍
Great video! I remember loving the first Flavia Book. 😍
My favorites of March were The Fellowship Of the Ring and Slaughterhouse-Five. Also I just finished reading “The Phantom Tollbooth” and it’s one of my new favorite books ever.
The Phantom Tollbooth is wonderful! I'm glad you got the chance to read and enjoy it.
I read the first Flavia book years ago and loved it, got it from my library, and haven't gotten around to reading any of the other ones. Really have to get back into them since the first one was really good.
So many books so little time.
Great video as always. Will check out Flavia at the library.
In March I read quite a few books including "Sour Dough" Sloane, "The Amateur Marriage" Tyler, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" Capote, "Autumn" Smith.
Have you read "The Book on the Bookshelf" by Henry Petroski? I'm hoping to read it soon.
Since you loved "O Pioneers" I highly recommend "Freckles" and it's sequel "A Girl of the Limberlost" by Gene Stratton-Porter. If your Kindle there works the same as here in the US you can get them free on Amazon.
Miss your videos
Hey! Just passing by to tell you that I miss your videos a lot! I always love the books you recommend so I hope you come back soon :)
Books about book shops, eh? Why does that sound so intriguing? Perhaps a video of your favorite(s) or a list somewhere for us to check out would be in order? Just a thought. As always, thanks for making my toRead list longer. ;)
Garbage? Well, that's rubbish! As usual nicely reviewed, you made me listen to your thoughts on Mary Poppins. I thought the last Bill Bryson book was a bit of a disaster so I may read Thunderbolt Kid again....
Hi Lesley, have you read any books by Kazuo Ishiguro and Haruki Murukami before? Kazuo’s books The Remains of the Day and An Artist of the Floating World and Haruki’s The Wind Up Bird Chronicle are beautifully written. I’d like to hear your thoughts on these books if you have read them
I miss your videos! I hope you're well! I'd love to know your thoughts about the new Little Women cast for the Greta Gerwig film
I can just scream!
Do any of you know what is WordsofaReader job and how many hours a day she works? I would need help with balancing job and other things in my life so I'd be interested to know if she balances reading with a 09 - 19 job or if she works less or part time or doesn't work, in order to understand what are my realistic goals.
lizbennetgenova I think she is a graphic designer, so she works from home
thanks, I hoped she worked outside so I could ask for tailored advices...
It's been 3 months :(
Are you Australian?
You end a lot of sentences with a cadence
