18:49 while it maybe didn't matter, keeping both on top would ensure you hit terror with Etali, and then you could hit something big like Attaxa from their deck to use as removal with terror. Edit. With another round in hand and 7 mana all you had to do then was to survive with Etali and terror on field to steal game. Another round would give 3 blink that mean 21 damage + 6 free casts from Etali.
20:27 I honestly think they might be playing it purely as an Uncharted Haven. There's no way they spent a mythic wildcard on it; they probably just opened it and thought "Hey, might as well put it in this WUBRG deck for color fixing"
Lol I almost built this deck as an against the odds but got bored midway thru and started to build around memory vessel instead xd. If you combine it w/ hoarding broodlord, you can convoke all your spells from it, then use pia nalaar to get back a mana on every single spell you cast. throw in a quintorious kand to make bodies for convoke and do damage every time you cast a spell, it was like a weird memey combo deck lol. super fun against the odds, would recommend it
What am I missing with the bounce land? Wouldn't you still have the same amount of mana just playing a land unless you can untap it? Without a spelunking effect, it doesn't actually ramp.
To be honest, I think this is probably better in a green deck 1. better mana ramp 2. better ETBs (titan of industry, gala greeters, gruff triplets, invasion of ixalan, and topiary stomper) 3.another round either wants a ton of small things to blink or some big things to blink many times. green white has both.
A big conceptual problem with these decks is that you can't use your ETB creatures as chump blockers or you lose their value so while you can draw and draw and draw, you can't build your board to hold back an opponents board. It helps so much to have creatures that ETB make a big token or gain huge amounts of life, like Sandstorm Salvager or Lunarch Veteran, but you really want Nektraal effects like 5-Sheoldred
I tried Another Round in Orzhov lifegain in Standard and found that I often didn't have enough value to blink. I should definitely think about putting it in my build of this deck, which is similar but definitely needs the finishers like Terror of the Peaks
Kind of a bammer to end on a match like that. Options to replace Claimjumper... Ardent Elementalist to get Get Lost or Another Round back from grave. Charming Scoundrel for treasure tokens to cast bigger Another Rounds. Circuit Mender for life gain and card draw. Extraction Specialist could recur stuff from grave and when it blinks the stuff it already grabbed becomes able to attack again. Not sure how Imodane's Recruiter works when blinked. There are a bunch of things that either make creature tokens or add counters, but that doesn't feel right for this deck. I would be tempted to main deck a copy of Loren.
Seth, Wouldn't charming scoundrel be great in this deck. Loots to find blink pieces, makes mana, and can technically be a wincon with the loss of life from the aura leaving the bf.
So the eternal glory podcast just had a great podcast about this (opportunity cost) where people just recommend cards. When you recommend a card also try to include what you are cutting from the list. Otherwise the best answer to your question is just "what about it?" Personally I am more in favor of the epicure replacing the claim jumpers and then putting in 3 mana enchant that does damage on etb. The claim jumper seems both too slow for this deck while also not helping that much even when it is triggering.
What about something like Warleader's Call in place of the Claimjumper? ETB pings and since you're frequently going fairly wide an anthem might be good. In match 2 game one when you scry'd I think you should have left it so the terror of the peaks was 2nd card and hoped for a top deck from them and at the least a blocker.
Love when people claim game too fast. At my March of the Machien draft a dude had a very good field and 18 life and I was down to 4 with some Itty bitty 1/1s and he asked if I just wanted to go to the next game. I said nah let's play it out. Next turn convoked in City on Fire and played Furnace Reins to steal his Zilortha and hit him for 24 damage.
always funny your opponent in match 1 got the nutdraw in game one and prematurely says GG and processes to get stomped in games 2 and 3 with never saying GG after losing lol
This deck feels like it has a lot of bad draws. Jumper seems not great, Farewell should be in the side board, and it only really has 3 decent blink creatures in companion, inspector, and etali. I think Steel Seraph would be better than Jumper tbh
I still think that cornacopia should have been a white card. That way it would probably be one of the better commander manarocks (as green usually doesn't play any). And i doubt it would make a difference in any other format (except maybe be a better pitch color).
There are four things certain in life:
1. Death
2. Taxes
3. Crim trying to make Grixis work in every Standard
4. Seth playing some panharmonicon deck
5. Thomer talking about basic lands
6. Richard holding a fog
7. Phil having an ungodly amouth of early ramp
@@Shimatzu95 8. Seth beating the best deck in the format.
24:10 It happened! Seth learnt why Cornucopia is a may ability!
Still a better character arc than Twilight
I was honestly wondering how long it would take for him to realize that.
lol, it was such a pain for me watching last video :D
This is how I felt as he slowly learned “analysis” and “analyst” are two different words.
@@jellywillreturn Both better than analist
Seth, blink twice if you are in distress
Blink.. I get it... 🥴
Legend
*blink blink*
**taps 5 mana**
@@pixelz3040 Thats 3 times
Again, expressing my gratitude for best of three content.

18:20 couldn’t he of just used eijango
@@trudaftgunpunk Yes but then he wouldn't have been able to cast Etali
the opponent had the better card over claimjumper in the limousine . The opponent built seth's deck without knowing 🤣🤣
20:27 I honestly think they might be playing it purely as an Uncharted Haven. There's no way they spent a mythic wildcard on it; they probably just opened it and thought "Hey, might as well put it in this WUBRG deck for color fixing"
Glad i'm not alone in hating the early gg. So presumptive
Now This is an Againt the Odds deck!!
"Given the choice I'd rather be the blower-outee than the blower-outer". Wow, wasn't expecting to learn Seth's sexual preference this video. 🤣🤣
38:20 When your deck's power is at 5 mana and you have the five drops, don't mill the fifth land
"More Etali triggers for some reason."
lmao very good
I bet opponent boarded out that limousine for game 3 😂🤣
that was beautiful
Something that makes a treasure token could be decent
how sick would a farewell at 6:05 have been
Claim jumper should be a sideboard card against ramp at best
It's definitely overkill, and will almost never give more lands off a blink. Something that makes treasure or acts as removal would be better.
I'm so petty, during match 1 I just wanted Seth to keep saying good game over and over again
Lol I almost built this deck as an against the odds but got bored midway thru and started to build around memory vessel instead xd. ive been rocking your old Nahiri's Resolve Panharmonicon deck for standard for quite a while and this is the sequel i've been waiting for!
Ah, Terror of the Pings. Haven't seen you in awhile but you are still so much fun.
Brothershood end would be a great addition to this deck
We have to stop letting him believe it’s spelled that way.
@@jellywillreturn never
Don't know why but "it IS restless" made me chuckle
Surprised warleader’s call isn’t in the deck
I’m very been playing mono white blink like a fool…awesome deck
Dude, this was going to be my video for this week. Now I'll have to pivot to something else and show this video next week.
Great video!
19:00 I know it probably wouldn't change a lot but it could've been better leaving the inspector on top that way you hit terror with etali
I’ve been wondering what sort of shell Another Round would fit in: this looks super fun!
Final Showdown would be a good sweeper that works with Nahiri's Resolve.
Sweet deck. If you're think Claim Jumper isn't great, I think Fortune, Loyal Steed is a pretty good alternative, synergizes well with the deck.
43:44 Sorry, WHOSE Flanker?
I’m 100% positive that the guy in the last video expected to tidebinder for 0 as an instant 😂
What am I missing with the bounce land? Wouldn't you still have the same amount of mana just playing a land unless you can untap it? Without a spelunking effect, it doesn't actually ramp.
MTGGoldfish, This made me laugh so much! Thanks for sharing!
The bnuy flopped? That's a flavour win.
43:43 Kuzoolah’s Flanker 😂
Someone on Arena used the new card called "The Great Kit Duncan". As soon as I saw that, I instantly conceded the game.
I could see using Tarnation Vista as color fixing that occasionally generates an extra mana in a 3 or 4 color Commander deck.
holy cow man, the rants/tangents about losing when the game is NOT over instead of just playing irritate the crap out of me.
Interesting deck.
Claim Jumper seems better as a sideboard option against something like Splendid Reclamation/Analyst combo than something you play in the mainboard.
getting a GG when they're playing your own deck on you
To be honest, I think this is probably better in a green deck
1. better mana ramp
2. better ETBs (titan of industry, gala greeters, gruff triplets, invasion of ixalan, and topiary stomper)
3.another round either wants a ton of small things to blink or some big things to blink many times. green white has both.
Aww yeahh Seth's back to making gameplay videos baby
Circuit Mender in this deck could probably help vs aggro being a 2/3 that has a life gain trigger + draw card trigger
I run Tarnation Vista in Saint Traft and Rem Karolus since STaRK can make 3 different mono-colored permanents all by themselves.
Replace Claims Jumper with Charming Scoundrel for consistent ramp when you need it or later card draw
Cool deck. I think annex sentry would have been better than claim jumper. Great against karnstructs and such
I tried Another Round in Orzhov lifegain in Standard and found that I often didn't have enough value to blink. I should definitely think about putting it in my build of this deck, which is similar but definitely needs the finishers like Terror of the Peaks
Another Round going down!Blink em up Olive.
That legends deck second game was so goofy. There's no way it does anything facing any resembling a meta deck. It's so all over the place.
Early GG to double loss is always my favorite.
can you make your crimelands into creatures and blink them 2-3 times?
There's nothing better than instant karma for an early GG

Love me some nahiris resolve 😍
Seth, Wouldn't charming scoundrel be great in this deck. Loots to find blink pieces, makes mana, and can technically be a wincon with the loss of life from the aura leaving the bf.
I'm also a bit surprised that there aren't Voldaren Epicures in the deck.

In match 3 watching the opponent activate those seed cores before blocks were declared hurt my soul.
Omg I have to have this for my brago commander brew I been developing
Sick video!
Cue Mads Mikkelsen dancing
Seth does what he has always done when someone ridicules a one-land keeps... He doubles down! (Wait that was a few weeks ago)
Seems like Warleader's Call would be good here.
Everytime an Ertai spammer gets destroyed, an angel gains its wings

Claim jumper might be worth a sideboard slot against Domain?
Yeah I'd think even resolute reinforcements might be better than claim jumper.
Is there a strategic value to blinking the terror of the peaks that im missing? Is it just to make sure it doesn't get killed?
Pretty much that, want it to enter with everything so once set up the blowout is unavoidable cause responding to it after they re-enter does nothing
Is this thumbnail a reference to Mads Mikelsen's Another round? 😅

What is this deck's weighting on MTGA?
Great value engine
Can toy make a deck with only blink spells and cards to cheat out etali? Sounds like a fun infinite-ish combo idea.
Love to see jank, love to see BO3!
"Id rather be the blower-out-ee then the blower-out-er" PAUSE

So many triggers
This deck feels like it has a lot of bad draws. Jumper seems not great, Farewell should be in the side board, and it only really has 3 decent blink creatures in companion, inspector, and etali.

Didn't see the Sanctuary Warden until towards the end

"Opponent"
14:24 Come on Seth, not telling "Good Game" to the opponent at this time is a HUGE misplay.

I'm still against the idea of always going extra lands regardless of archetype. It's true about the snowball but screw still beats flood
