Thanks for a great video. I am exactly the same size as this model and got the L pants but the XL jacket, I found the L jacket to be to small for my 44 inch chest. The suit is simply awesome, looks so much better than the bulky Klim Badlands pro.
It's about time they update the Horizon 2 jacket! It's my favourite jacket for long (post-summer) trips and, in my experience, waterproof in full-day downpours. Just needs some good arm vents and bigger/more accessible pockets.
$1400 & those thing on forearm for abrasion resistance can easily be removed. Wow what an fantastic progress.
Defender 3/ Poseidon are the good deal !
@RevZilla during the video you mentioned providing some sort of update after getting the chance to use it more. Any thoughts? How does it compare to the KLIM comparable offerings (Kodiak or Badlands Pro)?
How would you compare this to KLIM's Badlands Pro?
I'm dissapointed by it... Having crashed in my poseidon 2 and afterwards upgraded to the dominator 2 im glad.... The new one seems like a downgrade.
The jacket at the first glance feels like it's supposed to be a poseidon 3, not a true successor to the domimator...
Not sure why @revitsport have chosen to upgrade the pockets and wrist closure Inthe defender 3 bit chosen poor velcro fastenings for the dominator 3. Very bad development not including improvements on the.premium models they have improved on cheaper models.
Also the loss off upper arm adjustment is a downgrade,and the lack of stretch fabric is poor for a premium model that needs layering throughout the year.
Hi from Munich! another problem mit Dominator 3 @revitsport . On the Dominator 3 jacket are no specific connection points for REV'IT! Segur Neck Brace.
you can wear the Segur on the Dominator 3 jacket only with the universal harness ... I find that it is a very poorly thought out thing, if a jacket so expensive, top of the line, does not provide these hooks.
I asked for an explanation and they told me that they will take it to their R&D department... haha... I told them that I am happy to be of help for their RD department... and their future customers... but that I won´t be one of them and they told me they don´t give a damn. Nice!

The collar can be sold separately for dominator 2 Gtx ? I will add collar only looks better for me dominator 2 Gtx thanks
No unfortunately the collar is only designed to work with the Dominator 3.
is this jacket/pants suitable also for hotter rides?
Yes, it is designed for all 4 seasons of riding. Not as ventilated as a Mesh jacket, but that's to be expected with a jacket factoring in WP'ing.
As a Dominator owner (Dominator jacket + Dominator v2 pants) i'm quite disappointed. It seems that Rev'it designer are not motorcyclist. A couple of years ago i sent them an email with suggestion of things to improve and there is not even an idea of the ones I had proposed.
The vents on the arms were too small and are still small, same for the upper vents on the chest and on pants. There is at least 1 or 2cm of space to make them bigger!
There is not anymore the vent on the forearm and there is a new vent on the external side. Maybe It works but when i need extra ventilation i open completely the wrist strap and i get the air, exactly where i want (the wrist is one of the main "cooling points".
The pockets on the pants are still not cargo and it's still missing some sort of vent below the knee.
I don't understand why they didn't make a full zip vent like in the new Defender 3.
Good idea the hook on the external of the jacket.
I hope there made something like the new Defender 3 to keep the neck open: the previous system with the small hook NEVER worked.
I’m late to the party, but to answer your comment; they are big time motorcyclists! They also work together with the Dutch police and military police on a small scale and they are a major supplier of a lot of driving schools here. The reason the venting isn’t as prominent is because it ISN’T a summer jacket. It’s an all-season jacket. Which means it isn’t as good at one of the seasons as a dedicated jacket would be. It’s really good for Dutch/West-European/North-East European summers. But otherwise, get a summer jacket. They are cheap as hell. Also, don’t expect a big ass company to reply a single email with some feedback from basically a nobody.
the CC is way off....
The rain cover is fucking useless thanks to that textile/mesh/fabric bit right under your chin. That's the point where you leak. I have it with my Poseidon 2. Plus, it would be great, if there would be a bigger patch to tighten up the collar.
seems like a downgrade. thank goodness for mosko moto making real adv jackets that take a beating.
