Which isn’t enough time to clean a regular hotel room let alone a suite or a 3 bd room penthouse. You should always clean or you’re sitting in strangers’ filth!
Does this mean you do the bare minimum of cleaning? Do you not have the time required to do your job? I'm only asking because it seems like this is standard routine cleaning.
This woman would have been my grandmother’s super hero and idol! Grandma always did exactly what she is doing at every location that was foreign to her.
I completely understand. I used to do the same when we traveled. Not quite to that extent. Didn't strip the bed just hosed it down with the lysol. Actually hosed everything down with it.

We've been doing since i was a child. Im 45 now.. My mom didnt play. I think Everyone should do this. I worked in housekeeping i seen housekeepers wipe the drinking glasses with same towel they cleaned with. Also they popped the sheets. I was so done.. hotels are gross. When i travel i clean my room just like this and the bathroom. I also check for bedbugs.
If you’re not using bleach or hydrogen peroxide, then you are not killing norovirus which is the number one problem on a cruise ship. You have to get bleach wipes. Regular wipes that you were using didn’t contain bleach your hydrogen peroxide. Yeah you cleaned up some dirt, but that’s not the problem. Lysol does not kill norovirus either .
This is something I do as well, when we shouldn't have to, but as a former Houskekeeper, the rooms are not cleaned thoroughly. The same rag used to clean the sink and tub is used for the toilet or vice versa, YES ive seen a fellow housekeeper clean a sink with the toilet bowl brush, and she was the SUPERVISOR. furniture are not pulled away from the wall to be vacuumed ir cleaned. Mop heads or mop water are not changrd after every room. I could write a story, so yes, disinfect when you get your room cause housekeeping is not keeping the house clean😊
My mom had to go to hospial and ahe started cleaning the room just like this. The dirt she was picking up off the hospital bed alone made me finish what she started. I changed her sheets, pillow cases. Got her in the bed. No one will clean your area like you do. I need that cleaning travel kit❤
I do this whenever I stay in an hotel. I even buy dollar rugs for the floor to walk on and dont allow housekeeping while I'm staying. Dont forget the bug spray...must spray to be on the safe side. On the cruise I the had the maid spray around my bed for bugs.
😂 that’s exactly me, I bring our sheets. Now my kids are big, if they go somewhere they couldn’t sleep without having sheets from home 😅….. I make my family wait outside the door before coming in. And I bring our own towels also 🤣
IKR! Ain't no way I'm using their wash clothes and towels on our bodies. I have deluxe toilet covers and flip flops too. I also get extra sheets at check in cuz I'm not lounging on their sofas without it lol. These companies take all kinds of short cuts and don't care about the guest's safety.
Please and thank you. You should have considered sending this entire video to each cruise line and hotels. They need to be held accountable. Also, they should have immediately compensated you for your trip. This is not acceptable. I too clean like this when I travel. All bedding should be checked, changed and steamed. I even spray then steam the mattress. You don’t know who has the “ill” na-na, HI-V, or the cooties. I like your style. New subbie here.
So, is there an extra suitcase to carry all those cleaning supplies? I would be on the phone with housekeeping, rippin' them a new one over the leftover panties!
Why are you going to throw a tantrum and verbally abuse someone who had nothing to do with your problem? Just communicate with the staff like a normal functional adult.
@fcplop98 ah yes, the room not being clean had nothing to do with the housekeeping staff.... you know.... the ones responsible for cleaning it. The ones that already "cleaned" the room. Housekeeping had everything to do with the problem. It is literally their job to ensure each room is cleaned.
I've done this on a cruise ship and hotels. I even cleaned the wall especially next to my headboard. They don't clean thoroughly. Her kit is very, very important.
Oh my….I thought I was the only one who does this. Those cleaning people either don’t know how to clean, don’t care to clean, on a time schedule, it’s just a pay check to them or they just come to make the beds. I don’t know, but I know these places don’t be clean. The bathrooms be the worse and I have to do double cleaning duty in there - how are you going to sit your butt on them toilets without cleaning them well….it be just like a public restroom to me and I can’t be squatting over the toilet during my entire stay.
Pre pandemic I used to take Megabus to NJ. My first time the driver wasn’t having it and everyone kept the bathroom clean, but not so on other buses, so I took cleaning product, gloves and wipes so I could use the facilities with comfort!

No. Because you obviously make it yourself
She made it from minis
You make it yourself
People have gone mad from hyper consumerism.
Lol i agree @@rue6914
Girl I know that’s right!!! I do the same thing and I don’t have my bare feet on any carpet or floors. I have footies for that!!!
You and Nikki (from operationnikki, who is also a UA-camR) are EXCELLENT regarding CLEANING + DEODORIZING your spaces---whether it's within your homes or outside of it. Thx so much for these tips and tricks! ❤👏💯💐
Yes but Nikki has disposable sheets lol
I was looking for this comment 😂
I think nikki put everybody on lol she don’t play lol
Amen Ms.Sister I've been doing this for over 45 YEARS!!!! MY Family n Friends always called my strange n crazy. BUT I was always clean n safe
I need that travel CLEAN kit in my LIFE..going to Amazon in 3.2.
Did u find it
bio.site/upgradewith_jade - this is the link to my cleaning kit!
@upgradewith_jade thanks for sharing but UA-cam doesn't allow for the copying of posted links - nor does the link turn blue to show you can click the link
@@anydae I was able to click on the above link and was taken directly to the upgrade with jade website. Did you even try? Don't spread misinformation, Ms. Jade is trying to make a living!

I get it Sista girl GREAT JOB one can never be too careful now your ready to enjoy yourself they need to take something off your bill 😊
What is worse is some hotels have bedbugs. Got to check out the corners of the bed to make sure your room doesn't have them before cleaning.
It seems like this one may have bedbugs, when you see stains like that on the corners of a sheet, it's usually a sign of bed bugs.
I’m glad i’m not the only one cleaning and sanitizing the rental/cabin. Cuts down on illnesses real quick
Being a housekeeper myself, I do suggest to people to do this as well.
😂
Why?? What yall NOT doing?
@@keeshamadison4112it seems everything
@@keeshamadison4112most places give them a timeline for cleaning, some 15 minutes per room some over paces 25-35 I’ve almost never seen more than 35 minutes.
I love how organized she is.
This woman would have been my grandmother’s super hero and idol! Grandma always did exactly what she is doing at every location that was foreign to her.
Girl when I was done with all that cleaning they would've had to pay me or comp my stay 😆
Excalty. That way too much work.
Im going on a Virgin cruise in June & I'll be doing all of this!!
Virgin Cruise is so fun you will have a great thing 😊
Great Job 👏🏿
I completely understand. I used to do the same when we traveled. Not quite to that extent. Didn't strip the bed just hosed it down with the lysol. Actually hosed everything down with it.
❤❤❤❤❤ This! This is so me! I dont want to see a lick of hair, dust nowhere, and yes, i bring my own sheets and mattress cover. ❤
honestly that’s so valid, pls drop a vid showing your mini cleaning kit!!
Yes please, what are the items in the kit?
My routine every time. It's a bit tiring but makes me relax better KNOWING it's actually clean and hubby helps each time as well. ❤😊
But we live out of the suitcase, except for toiletries in the bathroom AND we leave tge DO NOT DUSTURB sign up the whole time and clean for ourselves. Room is definitely cleaner (sanitized) when we leave than arrive.😅
She took me out when the phone accidently called housekeeping😂😂😂I have a family member that has been doing this for YEARS..
It's crazy how much we spend on vacation and travel, to have to do this. I promise once you see the filth you can't help yourself. Great video Queen!
Nieceeeee😮 I’m Traveling with you NEXT TIME 😮😂👍🏽frfr
I'm with you. Before c19, I always brought my cleaning supplies.😊
Thank you for showing me a perfect example of cleanliness I am so unorganized at times with my affairs that I forget or neglect. I appreciate you. 💜
So glad I’m not alone my children already know what’s happening before we get comfortable.
Me to, me too, I spray the entire bed with Lysol and turn on my travel ozone air purifier & get out of the room for about 2 hours 😂
What exactly does the humidifier do?
Ozone, is a highly poisonous gas. Too dangerous for amateurs to fool with
I need to get one of those
@@PorshiaJaz15purifier.
Where can I get a travel ozone air purifier and how much is it? I have an air scent diffuser, is that the same thing?
And I thought I was the only crazy one doing that! What a relief 😂😂😂
People be calling you crazy too?! I developed this habit back on childhood vacations and I just got more intense as I got older!
I'm here to tell you that you are not alone *MJ voice *
I know that's right making sure you in a healthy clean environment is everything to me ✌🏽🤎💪🏾
The house keeping call was so satisfying 😂😂
This is one of oh so many reasons I stopped traveling for awhile..
Good stay home
❤ Cleaning is mandatory, no matter where you stay. We block out an hour of time to clean once we are in the room. ❤
Need the product list stat Queen 🙌🏾🥰👍🏾
Clorox wipes, disposable gloves, lysol spray, bedbug spray
And Scrub daddy 😂

Im glad to know that I clean and pray before relaxing in my hotel room
This is something I do as well, when we shouldn't have to, but as a former Houskekeeper, the rooms are not cleaned thoroughly. The same rag used to clean the sink and tub is used for the toilet or vice versa, YES ive seen a fellow housekeeper clean a sink with the toilet bowl brush, and she was the SUPERVISOR. furniture are not pulled away from the wall to be vacuumed ir cleaned. Mop heads or mop water are not changrd after every room. I could write a story, so yes, disinfect when you get your room cause housekeeping is not keeping the house clean😊
Haha that housekeeper was me! Finished in ten minutes lol 👌🏽
@@m.a.6231 🤣🤣 nasty ass
Whoever got your room is lucky
Your luggage is magical 💕✌🏼
In love!!! This is the type of travel buddy. I need! You get it 🙌🏽
-hitttt im 😂moving in permanently if im deep cleaning like that
"Good morning house keeping" hahahahaha good one
My mom had to go to hospial and ahe started cleaning the room just like this. The dirt she was picking up off the hospital bed alone made me finish what she started. I changed her sheets, pillow cases. Got her in the bed. No one will clean your area like you do. I need that cleaning travel kit❤
Definitely A Must!! 🌊🧽🫧🧹 I be doing the same thang Gurl!🥂
One of the many reasons why I will never do Carnival again.
Underrated!❤
I do this whenever I stay in an hotel. I even buy dollar rugs for the floor to walk on and dont allow housekeeping while I'm staying. Dont forget the bug spray...must spray to be on the safe side. On the cruise I the had the maid spray around my bed for bugs.
This actually look amazing…
Or you can just stay home because you can't bleach the food they'll be serving up
😂😅
And you can smell everybody got diarrhea
😂 that’s exactly me, I bring our sheets. Now my kids are big, if they go somewhere they couldn’t sleep without having sheets from home 😅….. I make my family wait outside the door before coming in. And I bring our own towels also 🤣
IKR! Ain't no way I'm using their wash clothes and towels on our bodies. I have deluxe toilet covers and flip flops too. I also get extra sheets at check in cuz I'm not lounging on their sofas without it lol. These companies take all kinds of short cuts and don't care about the guest's safety.
...this woman is my spirit animal.
She's doing the right thing!!!😊
Damnnnnn, she played no games with the germs!😊❤😊❤😊❤
Please and thank you. You should have considered sending this entire video to each cruise line and hotels. They need to be held accountable. Also, they should have immediately compensated you for your trip. This is not acceptable. I too clean like this when I travel. All bedding should be checked, changed and steamed. I even spray then steam the mattress. You don’t know who has the “ill” na-na, HI-V, or the cooties. I like your style. New subbie here.
I like how compact your stuff is
That's me , cleaning everything whenever I go to hotels, it was really hard work, so happy for these videos.
So, is there an extra suitcase to carry all those cleaning supplies? I would be on the phone with housekeeping, rippin' them a new one over the leftover panties!
It’s wipes and spray. It don’t need a suitcase.
@@MsM-ld7hh plus bedding, probably brings her own towels too. Def another suitcase.
@@cutestnaturalista9219 she showed you it comes in a mini case that fits in her big case. Have you ever seen bedding folded up before? lol stop it
Why are you going to throw a tantrum and verbally abuse someone who had nothing to do with your problem? Just communicate with the staff like a normal functional adult.
@fcplop98 ah yes, the room not being clean had nothing to do with the housekeeping staff.... you know.... the ones responsible for cleaning it. The ones that already "cleaned" the room. Housekeeping had everything to do with the problem. It is literally their job to ensure each room is cleaned.
Yup, thats me everywhere I travel.
The more I travel, the blinder I get! 😂😂😂
I've been doing this for over 20 years and was mafe fun of all the time, it makes me happy to see this clips now
I like that fan!! Definitely got a new follower 💃🏾💃🏾
