@upgradewith_jade, have you ever thought of making the kits and selling them yourself? I know I’d be a constant return customer. Love the way you do things. Thank you for sharing.🫶🏽🤙🏽
And what do you think they're going to do? They pay their staff chump change and they only have enough time to do basic things like take out the trash and change the sheets, and restock. Some housekeeping jobs require 1, MAYBE 2, housekeepers per hallway. That's definitely over 30 rooms with a time dead line every single day. Guaranteeing a clean room means guarenteed full staff and better wages, two things the hospitality business has NEVER been too keen on.
@@rachel5399exactly. They will fire housekeepers for being “too slow.” Either we live with it or do it ourselves. Those people aren’t paid enough or given enough time to properly clean.
Now I anint gone lie! I would be mad as a mug! ALL THAT EXTRA DIRT! Honey wit that call would’ve also been some type of discount. Cause that was extra ridiculous. But I clean the same.. even if it’s spotless. You can never be to careful

That's a good idea to request that housekeeping not clean your room. Who knows what they bring from room to room with cross-contaminated supplies and cleaning tools!
I guess I lucked out when I went on my cruise. I took a cleaning kit because I was afraid I would end up with a dirty cabin and after wiping everything down my Clorox wipes were pretty much clean. We must have had a good cleaning crew. I was pleasantly surprised but grateful that it was cleaned well.
As a cruiser..the cabin in that condition would have been completely re cleaned BEFORE it left your port. Guest supervisor notified and present.im sorry u had this experience they should have immediately offered you new room .
My previous comment was deleted😐🙃 anyways sadly this is the norm at all hotels and cruise cabins nowadays. Keep up the good work, better safe than sorry! Happy travels🥰
When we were regular cruisers those rooms were way CLEANER way before the shutdowns....NEVER seen that kind of filth .....but yes you are right...I bring my huge pack of Clorox wipes, LYSOL spray and polish and my own wash cloths...sad you gotta do all this stuff. We pay too much money for the rooms to be that filthy.
I'm with you with cleaning your own room! They get about 10 mins per room, there's no way they could ever do a good enough job to basic standards let alone to satisfy someone who needs it actually clean! I do the same thing, even if it looks clean, it definitely isn't.
I am the same exact way cause what ! People don’t understand how easily you can catch something from someone else just by breathing in the same air so imagine using the bathroom, shower and other things that bodily fluids can be on after lord knows how many strangers… I’ve accepted the fact that I may be a bit of a clean freak . It’s only a lot of work for people that don’t even thoroughly clean they own house 🤷🏽♀️
Love these cleaning videos but hoping the plastic-based and individually-wrapped wipes can be ditched for something biodegradable! Keep the planet clean too. :)
I do the same. No need to enter my room until I have checked out. If they didn’t clean it properly before I arrived, there is no need to clean it while I’m there.
People think this is especially nasty? Y’all, if we all did this, most of us would find the same amount of yuck. I always clean with Clorox wipes and use Lysol spray but I think I’ll set my game up too! 🤮
I'm a frequent traveler and I always clean my room for sanitation but I've never dealt with a room that was actually unkempt before. I hope you reported them to the cruise line.
I am not taking the complete bedding with me just my pillowcase but I do clean the place after arrival. Nothing strange about it. Heard from friends who cleaned hotels how it was done. 🤮 no thanks.. I trust my own work only.
I can’t go on vacation and NOT clean😂😂 yall dont realize people are filthy and room attendants are not as thorough as they should be. So Yes, im cleaning errthang upon entry😂
I have never in all of my 10 cruises had a suite dirty, especially with hair particles 🤮🤢 all over the place. That’s nasty. I hope you get a discount by cleaning yourself.

Girl thank you!!
Accessing the link tip: Take a screenshot of Jade’s link and select the link from the saved image on your phone. It worked for me (I use an iPhone).
It worked with my Galaxy23 as well😃@@beyondthesunpodcast
thank you
I feel like you and Operation Niki would be besties or at least have alot to bond over when it comes to cleaning cruise cabins. 😊
Yep! Gotta be cuzzinz 😆 🤣 😂 😹
Facttssss
Just because they both clean or???????😂😂
Absolutely disgusting! I hope you informed the cruise line about the condition of your cabin and sent them video of it.
FOR REAL!!!!!!

Would love to see a kit tour of everything you bring to clean on vacation, the bags you pack it in and that adorable tiny suit case !!

But when you are on a cruise the housekeeping gets in trouble if you don't let them in every few days to "clean"
Exactly. I'm gonna do this from now on
100% agree!! Clean the room😂
Damn… you are a fierce protector! Thanks for posting, I now know what to check.
I know the feeling. You made it so comfortable to your liking 😊😊😊😊I Love this!

The girls that get it, get it. The girls that don’t, dont 💅🏼✨🧽

Same here, I can’t enjoy my stay like it’s my home unless it’s Ashley-clean. ❤
EXACTLY!! because its obvious they didnt have this room ready for me so i might as well clean it myself

Annnnnnddddddd IIIIIII KNNNNNOOooWWWWWW THATTTTSSSSS RIGHTTTTTT!!!!

Former Hotel Manager here, umm yeah, this is like therapy for me now
Yup. Same. I clean it to my liking myself. I ask for new sheets too. Cuz ew the rooms be nasty when u get there.
I hope they up their cleaning game cause that’s just nasty.
For the amount we get charged now days....I expect my room to be clean! If I'm cleaning... I better get a discount.
I thought she was going to say that she will not be staying in that room. Quite disgusting. Good for her that she cleaned it.❤
I just seen your link and i was going to say you should make and sale your traveling cleaning kits and maybe like your “comfort” traveling kits too
I just want to know what cruise line this is?. This is horrible
Does it matter? There's enough of these videos on line now to let you know even the high end hotels are"clean" like this
Love these cleaning videos but hoping the plastic-based and individually-wrapped wipes can be ditched for something biodegradable! Keep the planet clean too. :)
Yes cause I don't want any random person in my room, half cleaning it 👌🏾
Was the electric carafe already in the room, or did you bring that with you as well? I'd definitely love to have one.😊
I do the same thing. Love watching your videos. ❤❤❤❤
Can you do a video on what all you pack in your cleaning kit? Thanks in advance
I better stay home in my own home😅 bit great job
One room down, the rest of the ship to go.
Frfr Id love for you to join me the next time I cruise.
I do the same. No need to enter my room until I have checked out. If they didn’t clean it properly before I arrived, there is no need to clean it while I’m there.
Imagine you go on a 5-day cruise and you just spend the first day cleaning your room!
Hygienic peace of mind for 4 days in a cruise better than the alternative.
Nah same. I high key do this and wash the sheets and towels all over again bc it’s nasty
Nice job..
I pray 🙏🏾 i font have nightmares about this room. No way would i have even picked up that phone🤢
But it makes for a good and speedy video tho
I do this everywhere I stay
Definitely clean before I get settled in
People think this is especially nasty? Y’all, if we all did this, most of us would find the same amount of yuck. I always clean with Clorox wipes and use Lysol spray but I think I’ll set my game up too! 🤮
Can you list the cleaning products you use?
Respectfully, I get wanting to do it yourself but, why not just have them come and deep clean the room?
I'm a frequent traveler and I always clean my room for sanitation but I've never dealt with a room that was actually unkempt before. I hope you reported them to the cruise line.
I don't think this is for real bc you're not allowed to bring a diffuser or water heater on a cruise.
What ship was this????? I love that view
That’s disgusting. If this was their version of a clean room I would cancel their house keeping services as well.
Wow
You should get a discount for that!
Did you buy the kit as is or put it together yourself ?! I need one
I put it together. Here’s the link copy and paste this and click “travel cleaning kit” - bio.site/upgradewith_jade
Do not forget to spray alcohol for the bed bugs
I am not taking the complete bedding with me just my pillowcase but I do clean the place after arrival. Nothing strange about it. Heard from friends who cleaned hotels how it was done. 🤮 no thanks.. I trust my own work only.
I can’t go on vacation and NOT clean😂😂 yall dont realize people are filthy and room attendants are not as thorough as they should be. So Yes, im cleaning errthang upon entry😂
What is the name of the spray for the mattress?
This video is moving so fast 😵💫
I have a slower paced video on my page!❤
I have never in all of my 10 cruises had a suite dirty, especially with hair particles 🤮🤢 all over the place. That’s nasty. I hope you get a discount by cleaning yourself.
Yea they gone have to give me a free stay cause that’s beyond gross
