    TODAY'S VIDEO:
I was invited onto GB News on Christmas Eve morning to have a debate with a turkey farmer. I was shocked by his response to my question about whether or not what happens to animals is compassionate and peaceful.

Happy vegan Christmas everyone, I hope you have a wonderful time and don’t have too many difficulties with non-vegan family members - I know this time of year can be very challenging. Just a quick reminder that I have a free live online communication workshop taking place on January 6th, which is for everyone who pre-orders my book (which is out in 4 days). The workshop is all about giving you tips and confidence to take into your vegan conversations in 2024 and beyond. You can sign up here: www.howtoarguewithameateater.com/
Thank you so much for all of your support 💙

      🎄Merry Christmas!🎄
There are two reasons why vegans comprise a fraction of one percent of the population: The main reason is due to humans’ failure to care about what they put into their own bodies - as long as it tastes good, who gives a damn about the consequences to one’s own health or the ethical concerns regarding other creatures or the environment?
The other reason is due to vegan advocates and animal rights activists being inept in their understanding of morality as well as their abysmal grasp of human physiology. Almost every single vegan activist I know of wrongly believes that we are omnivores, and they are clueless in respect to metaethics and applied ethics.
But that is not the most unfortunate thing about the matter. The saddest thing is that there is hardly a single vegan activist even willing to spend an hour or so to learn proper diet and meta-ethics with the World Teacher Himself, Jagadguru Svāmī Vegānanda, despite him freely offering to do so on his social media platforms. 😩

Like most people, I grew up as a non-vegan. Now it’s been almost 16 years as a vegan, but I definitely remember Christmas dinners as an omnivore. Where I come from, it’s not meat-based, but rather fish-based. I can safely say I never enjoyed those dinners. As a vegan, now every year I make garlic and herbs Christmas bread, have a vegan cheese platter (brie, camembert, charcoal smoked cheese and black truffle one - they cost a lot but it’s Christmas!), vol-au-vents filled with different home-made mousses, and a beautiful tofu-based roast (the recipe says “turkey style” but I never had turkey so I’m not sure, I just know it tastes great) with lots of roasted veggies dressed in aromatic herby oil. The dessert always varies as I love to come up with creative things.
It’s all home-made, tastes delicious, and it’s cruelty-free. Every year I look forward to Christmas for this, and I would never swap my current dinner with any of the ones I had in my non-vegan days! So I don’t get all the mockery about this. They always say they respect this and that but then as soon as the word “vegan” comes in the laughs and jokes abound. Plain rude and condescending, imo. “Haha! My dinner is better than yours. And you know why? Cause it’s MeAt”. Wow.
    Merry Christmas everyone!

Great work Ed. I wish laws were passed that forced farmers to CCTV their practices and make all images available in the public domain. Let the public see how animals are treated and processed and let the public decide if Red Tractor and all the major Super Market chains really do care about the treatment and welfare of animals.

That smirking and laughing when presented with an uncomfortable truth is the guilt they are trying to hide. It's also a response akin to a psychopath who has no remorse for his/her victims. You were spot on with every point Ed, as usual. Thanks for being a voice for the voiceless.

I was a meat eater for 37 years, and it’s not until you stop that you realise just how ridiculous the meat eaters’ arguments are. The smug/arrogant giggles from the presenters and the farmer are embarrassing. Well argued, Ed. Hope you had a great Christmas. 👍🏽

For anyone that would like a little closer look at the reality of turkey farms, I would recommend the video that Joey Carbstrong just posted a couple of days ago titled "Busted by hidden cameras: The biggest turkey farm investigation I've ever done."
