Julian Bream stuns us with his incredible technique, while Julian Bream complements the performance with his exquisite interpretative style. The only complaint I have is that Julian Bream sometimes gets a bit too wild with his bold rubato, but luckily, Julian Bream is there to readily adapt his entire performance to Bream's vision, creating an unprecedented musical picture. Bream and Bream will always be my favourite duo of all time. I'm jealous of the guys up there in heaven - imagine being able to listen to Julian Bream and Julian Bream live, non-stop!

And today I'm still learning the classical guitar I wish I have started early in life Julian Bream and John Williams has become my two favorite guitarist. But most I like the passion that Bream puts into his playing no matter if he playing the lute or the classical guitar he will be miss but his music lives on R.I .P Julian Bream. first thing i noticed. that in itself is little short of brilliant. Look at all the 'looks' he gives the 'other play' all the physical cues he gives to 'keep the other player synchronized'. Fantastic I must say.
I saw him live at Kean College, in Union NJ. He performed the first part of the program on the Lute, which was really unforgettable and sublime! I am quite fortunate, as I also saw Christopher Parkening live, as well
The man inspired millions over many decades. His music among my earliest memories of music and it never lost it's meaning for a scond to me. Every note I play on my guitar I try to reach his quality in play. He truly is one of the most important string artists ever set foot on this planet.

@iutiubbb This has to be from his heyday in the late 70s as he looks about 50'sh here. He is currently about 78 yrs old, if I remember correctly.
