I love that your DD isn't ALL Christmas and prepping for Christmas. I've had this mental block about it since my only child is graduating college on Saturday. We don't have the 'regular' Christmas-y December stuff anymore around the house. THANK YOU for showing your DD album. It makes me want to get my stuff out this afternoon after work.
Amy I love your sunny disposition and your philosophy on creating. I'm so glad you have started your u tube channel because it really allows you beautiful personality to shine.
Okey dokey! You totally sold me on this December Daily idea! I've listened to The Scrap Gals Podcasts...and they've discussed December Daily and had several guests on discussing these albums. I went on Tiffany's and on Tracie's blog and kind of got excited about it. Now I've watched 2 of your videos and am so inspired! Getting ready here to leave for a trip to Denver for Christmas....spending it with my daughter and her family (2 precious grandsons ages 5 and 9)! I feel I can pull this little album together in January and have the entire month documented in a cute little album! None of my 4 children or their families live here...but they've visited and we've visited. What a wonderful idea to have this little "month" album to cherish :-) We even have a brand new great grandson born this month to document! Took lots of pics when they came for a visit. I thank you so much for inspiring me over and over with your videos!
Love your videos- so inspiring! I've never been a scrapbooker. But lately I've been finding a need to create something, as well as something that gives me time to reflect on my days. This December Daily idea is a great way to document what I do with my family and use those mundane items that I usually toss away. Way to make moments into beautiful art. Thank you for sharing!
I know it's been a couple years now since you posted this but the info is still so relevant. I am a Simple Stories girl and love doing my albums each year with traditional colors and nobody beats their stuff when it comes to that for me. I am a matchy-matchy girl and although I am involved in technical design on a daily basis for the construction industry...I lack some creativity without being inspired by their lines and love the way you inspire ideas that I can implement into my own layouts, travelers notebooks, art journal and planner. Thanks so much for all that you do!
Very fun DD. I still have last year's to finish so i am keeping a journal instead and perhaps, i can convert that to a DD in January. I do like to look back at my album from last year, even though it is not quite done. Thanks so much for sharing.
Amy! Your book is so cute and pretty! I have also been using your Finders Keepers clear stickers in my December journal - they are perfect for this project even though they are not technically a Christmas item. So versatile!! Thanks for sharing :)
Love your video. I feel that i can actually finish my DD with all your tips. I agree that a week at a time makes it a bit less stressful to document. Really like how you make things work even if they don't turn out the way you initially planned.
I forget how much I enjoyed your process! You are fearless. I think I mentioned this before, but you started me on Project Life when I found your videos from 2 Peas... Loved this video!
Always love your process videos and seeing how you used your bright and fun collection - that's I'm currently hording for the "perfect" project. Trying to remind myself of your advice that it's so much more enjoyable to actually use your favorite supplies.
happy to see video before work! A "tangerine" a day makes creating ...well it's early for me to finish this phrase but, I know a "tangerine" a day is a good thing!
Love this Amy!! I've been using Pic Frame since I first heard you mention it - possibly last December Daily!! It's helped me so much!! Your book looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
you are so adorable and I love your videos. I have never made a december daily but I am sure that will be using your tips for my very first smash book. Hugs from Mexico
I have had a Selphy for a year, never opened it...Love that app! I am such a dinosaur when it comes to this stuff! I will have to see if there are videos here for PicSmart! :) Sandy
I so wish I would have seen this video before I bought my Selphy!! I am guilty...I HATE that I have to chop off some of my photos!! However, with that said, I like the ease of use and how I can actually get prints QUICKLY!! Thanks for posting!!!!
+Danielle Marie Side note, I got one of those Tim Holtz water brush pen things because of an earlier video and WOW did it step up my watercolor game, I love it!
+Danielle Marie Awesome on both!! Yes, the matte is amazing. Doesn't leave that sticky residue like Mod Podge and I am addicted to it! Will add the link to the description box, but here it is too: goo.gl/yYcthK XO!
I absolutely love how you mix December related and regular products together - it's so fun. Hope Jack's feeling better. If you want to check out what I'm doing - I'm doing a December Daily Inspiration video every day during the month of December. You can check out my channel. No pressure though - I know how busy you are. Thanks for sharing your process. Hope we can see more of it in the future.
+Tori Bissell Your button video blew me away! Thanks so much for sharing! And totally in awe that you can make a video for every day - I am so behind on both my project and my videos, but I am working on it!
+Amy Tangerine Awe. Thanks so much Amy - that's so sweet of you to say! I actually had to do a lot of pre planning to get it to happen. I worked on it most of November and half of October because I knew I was going to be away for 3 weeks of December. When it was all done it felt like such an accomplishment - I think it will be a while before I do a month long daily video. Thanks so much for watching.
hehe we use the same printer and app to print our images. the new canon app didn't work for me either, so weird. the only thing i can't seem to figure out is how to stay connected to the printer, if my iPhone closes on its own I have to re-enter all the info again to connect the printer, does this happen to you too?
+Serena Bee Oh gosh - no, this doesn't. That would really annoy me. I turn my printer on only to print though, and then I wait for it to be completely on and connected to the wifi before opening the app. Sorry to hear about your issue!
+Amy Tangerine that's ok, I guess my issue is that the printer doesn't connect automatically. I always have to enter all the wifi info every time I have to print, it does get pretty annoying. Maybe I should look into it to see if I can do anything to fix it. Thanks Amy for replying! 💜
+Jennie Wong Hi Jennie, I did purchase it - PicFrame app to make photo collage - goo.gl/nim2FR Honestly I RARELY buy apps, even when they are just 99 cents. But honestly it has been worth every single penny and I wouldn't recommend it unless I used it a bunch and thought it was worth it. Hope that helps :)
+Amy Tangerine hi Amy thank you for getting back to me. you mind explain to me what those number mean in the upper right hand cornor. where it say 3:2 something like that thanks.
+Jennie Wong Just the ratio you are selecting. So 3:2 is half of 4x6 (6x4, technically). 1:1 is square, because it's the same on both sides. Hope that makes sense!
you're such an inspiration, Amy! i gotta admit, sometimes it gets pretty repetitive creating the same way over and over. i love watching your videos. your chill attitude, creative outlook on a process and amazing outcome is just what i need! thank you for sharing ! my instagram is : mypaperprojects. i do planner photos mostly, and just starting to get into scrapbooking and memory keeping. see ya around instagram :)
+pamela patterson Hi - trust me I have some days where I don't have ephemera or photos that I want to use too. This is where I would insert products that I have been wanting to use or something simple like a bullet journal or choosing at least one interesting thing to write about. Sometimes it's difficult bc our days feel repetitive and mundane, but I am sure there's something small and random you can include. Or if your weeks are the same/similar, then just document your routine once and then only include the stuff from the weekends. It doesn't have to be on the daily either - you can make it an overview if you want. Hope some of these ideas help?
That is much better. I just see all these lovely videos and it's like... um... all I did today was go to work and come home and clean the house and feed the kids!!!
I like how you showed your photo process as this is often one of the most difficult parts for me. This whole thing was useful to watch. Thank you.
+Christy Clark Awesome! Yeah, mine is basically just all about our usual days in the month of December. So glad you're inspired to create!
"An unfinished pile of potential and old supplies..." THAT. What a mantra! Love it, Amy! And I can't believe you met Octavia Spencer. So jealous! 😍
+Laura P. Right?! She was the sweetest and has a contagious smile and presence. And she patted Jack's head!!
Amy I love your sunny disposition and your philosophy on creating. I'm so glad you have started your u tube channel because it really allows you beautiful personality to shine.

+Kathy G Thank you! Glad you're feeling inspired - just a warning, scrapbooking gets pretty addictive ;) but it's a good thing!
Love your videos Amy. I drool over all that ephemera you have!
I like that you have made this so simple and very enjoyable. This helps me for my first DD. Thanks so much
Jen

Great mix of styles, I love it!!!!
Wow! I learned a lot. I've journaled for years & I've only wrote I them. I plan todo a whole lot more this year. Thankyou!
Really enjoyed watching your slightly chaotic method. I am very similar in my process! I also use the "nail impression" measurement system!!
Inspirational as always, love your videos ❤
Thanks for the PicFrame tips. I just got a Selphy for Christmas and was looking for a collage program for printing. :)
Love this Amy!! I've been using Pic Frame since I first heard you mention it - possibly last December Daily!! It's helped me so much!! Your book looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

THEY MAKE MATTE COLLAGE PAUGE!? I LOVE the regular kind but it's so shiny and I've had it for years I NEVER KNEW!
+Danielle Marie Side note, I got one of those Tim Holtz water brush pen things because of an earlier video and WOW did it step up my watercolor game, I love it!

You make it look so easy. Mahalo for the Sakuralala referral. I can't narrow down the stamps I want to order!
That was so good
Amy, you are my biggest inspiration, definetly
+Hey Wey Gabi You are too sweet, thank you for your kind words!

+Katherine Roberts Love that approach!!
Great video as always! Thanks for sharing! Btw What's the name of your nail polish? Very pretty color!
+Brown Girl Reading Aww, thanks! It's my new favorite. It's Gelish - Cashmere Kind of Gal
Gorgeous on you!

Great video!!! :)
hi Amy can I ask you a question did you purchase the pic frame? I'm using pic stich but it doesn't have a lot of options you have in pic frame.
+Jennie Wong Hi Jennie, I did purchase it - PicFrame app to make photo collage - goo.gl/nim2FR
Honestly I RARELY buy apps, even when they are just 99 cents. But honestly it has been worth every single penny and I wouldn't recommend it unless I used it a bunch and thought it was worth it. Hope that helps :)

+Amy Tangerine i do use a lot of yours, but it slipped my mind! Will start tagging soon 😘
I don't really DO anything other than go to work and come home. I just feel so boring when I see all the ephemera people have!!
that's exactly how i feel!
+pamela patterson Hi - trust me I have some days where I don't have ephemera or photos that I want to use too.
