I'm retired at 27, went from Grass to Grace. This video here reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, honest wife, $35k biweekly and a good daughter full of ❤️ I’m forever grateful Rose M Elaine
know that woman (Rose M Elaine ) If you were born and raised in Miami ,FL🇺🇸 you'd know too, No doubt she is the one that helped you get where you are!!
After I raised up to 325k trading with her I bought a new House and a car here in the states also paid for my son's surgery (Isaac ). Glory to GOD. Only Rose M Elaine I can trust .
You guys are living the dream,MY dream. As a 52 year old dirt bike junkie,it was a such a great time to be alive and in the dirt bike scene.Every year was something huge, from the transition from dual shock to single, drums to discs, air cooled to liquid, etc.Id wait outside for the mailman to deliver my Motocross Action,Dirt Bike,Dirt Rider and every other magazine at the time.Im right in Maine and before I'm pushing daisies I WILL visit your shop/museum!I share your enthusiasm Big guy, when you talk about the bikes I can hear it in your voice that it takes you back to that awesome time!Thank you and your team for keeping the dream,MY dream alive!!🤟😝
Asd someone who started riding in the late 70s and grew up in a country with hardly any trail bikes but still managed to get a KE100 and later exchanged for a 76 Ke175 this brings back memories.
This place is an Absolute Heaven to me. I can’t wait to go see this museum of motorcycles. I can’t believe something so amazing is in my home state of Ct. Planned to go this past weekend but legs are injured and I want to be able to walk through as much of it as possible. This is a Dream to have this in Ct. Thank you for creating such a special place there is nothing I love more than all these amazingly engineered machines. I could spend the rest of my life walking through there every day never leave. Just AWESOME what you have done!
It's true everything is a diamond. I love reliving my childhood visa watching these videos. Every 70s and 80s bike that roles by reminds me of cutting up magazines to put on my wall, and riding my MX 80 through the woods of the PNW.
I believe the beautiful YZ 125 shown at about 6:30 mark is a 1978, not a 1980. The 1978 was the last year the side number plates were forward. Starting in 1979, the number plates were moved back towards the rear fender.
I have just subscribed and really appreciate your passion for all forms of motorcycles. I raced from 1978 to 1982 and my two favorite bikes |I have not yet seen a KX 100 from 1978 and a Yamaha 125 J from 1982. Merry Christmas from new subscriber in the United Kingdom.
I have to say… I hate to see Jeff leave. Today's his last day I guess according to the video. That's too bad. I'm happy for him but I know it's kind of a big hit to the company. Oh yes… You will survive and life will go on but it will be just a little bit different from now on. Also Ken, just judging by the video, I do agree that it probably is the biggest inventory you've ever had. That place is just packed to the gills with awesomeness of all shapes, sizes and colors!!! Nice job men!!! (and the ladies too) 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
Leave that Yamaha absolutely alone. I remember these colors when I was little and my pops worked at an off road /mini truck shop. Those were the classic 80s90s colors.
The Triumph Scrambler is awesome. Right hand shift too. I had a 68 Bonnie with right hand shift and Amal "tickler" carbs. The Rickman with the Beezer engine is pretty awesome too. If it were me I'd leave the buyer do all the starting and filling it with non ethanol gas. The Huskys are just over the top magnificent machines especially the 400 Cross. I remember the big advertising campaign with Husky was they have a Chrome Molybdenum frame. All my friends would talk about that as cool and awesome but really nobody actually knew what it meant. I surely know what that is today. Some funny stuff from when we were much younger. Looks like you got all the top bikes from that collection. Good luck on the sales and there will surely be some happy buyers. Man, I was standing in the wrong employment line again and should had my application for your job. 😎
These bikes were all rare when new. I'm 73 and I remember when these were curent models. Any survivors of these models are now extemely rare, and these specimens are flawless concours examples. I think we need a return to air cooled bikes just for the weight advantage. The Hodaka 'Combat Wombat' didn't have much displacement but it weighed nothing. Extremely high fun-per-pound/fun-per-dollar.
Hopefully a few friends of the museum can buy some of these absoulete diamonds and keep them at the New England Motorcycle Museum. I know if I ever win powerball that's something I'd do.
Dam it what a sight for sore eyes dam I want to get me another bike 57 years old been riding since 74 z50 Honda I love Honda , Yamaha and Suzuki and Kawasaki and all bikes F it I love them all thanks Captain Kaplan you’re a freaking legend brother looking forward to meeting you I have a 125 Yamaha dt125 I believe the fender is down on the tire I would like to get it to you. Awesome channel please tell Jr to quit playing with out the brain bucket you too Ken . 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸God Bless the USA 🇺🇸
Broc glovers yz125 factory bike very rare. I was just reading a johnny omara story about his mugen red white and blue 125 from 1980. Johnny said his honda was faster than broc's factory yamaha and actually was making 35 to 40hp way back then.
2strokes forever. Yeah, YAMAHA MX bikes. All time fave YZ 465. Love big bore 2T's but alas too hard to kick over. Stuck with 250's. After all these years of watching your channel subscribed. 🦄
Re:# 7 RM125 My buddy had the new ,race readied, rm125, I had an xs500 DOHC. We traded for few minutes.. My tricked out 500 was quick, but the RM 125 nearly ripped my arms out of their sockets.. Holy crap it was fast.
The FLORIDA BIKE ! Oh my goodness! Don't change a thing. !!! What would Jimmy Buffett say??? Come on now!!! Oh my goodness. R U Nuts??? 💥. Diamonds??? Not sure I get that. More like Diamonds and Rust. Diamonds and rust. Well.... Maybe I get it. Ok Ok Ok I guess I get it. Diamonds. I guess so. What a sweet display. Thanks for sharing all of this. 💥
I have a 1966 popular science magazine with Steve McQueen on the cover I have had since the mid 1970s. wish I had that bike to go with it but I am on over inventory load right now with 3 motorcycles according to my wife. Anyone want to trade a bike like that for a wife I will even throw in some cash on the deal, she is low maintenance but ear plugs are a must sometimes. Great Video, Thanks
You guys have been hittin' Winner Winner Chicken Dinners lately! I'll miss seeing Jeff around in the videos. Super cool guy, and obviously one hell of a mechanic. Watching him do the cylinder and head work on that XR650L a few years back was just amazing to see. True craftsman!
I have a copy of that photo of Steve McQueen with no shirt on that was a gift to me through Rick Sieman ( Super Hunky) and is framed and hanging up in my living room.
I’m 50an from the uk. Had many big bore 2 strokes. I love these reveals, after your hunting trips. One day I’m coming over for a tour. Big love Kaplan America ☠️
i had a 80 yz 125 with simons forks built motor that bike was awesome. i was only 16 and my first 100 foot to flat in a endo and it pulled out of it and i started airing that thing out. it handled way better then anyone would imagine for an 80,s aircooled bike. im so mad at myself for getting rid of that bike. and a year later i had a 500 twostroke kawasaki streetbike. it was a blast too.
Can’t wait to hear the Yamaha TZ rippin. Ken check out New England Chrome in East Hartford to get the Triumph mufflers re-chromed. Right down the street from the Harley shop
That truckload is the coolest collection of bikes I’ve seen yet!

Good God, Ken! What you're doing and the attention you're bringing to these classics is 2nd to none!
Thank you and stay tuned there is more to come brother

I was thinking the same. not sure of the year, but that definitely was not a 1980 YZ125g. The 1980 had the chain on the right side.
Keep the Rickman in the museum! Love it! That Yankee is a neat bike! They are all neat! Awesome! Long live the Dinosaurs!
Thanks! Will do!
I agree, understand you can’t keep them all but this one is really special. Yes he did say it’s never been started, amazing
Loved the video! Your collection is spectacular! I hope to tour your museum some day.
Real talk is the inside track to what you showcase here, Ken.
Powerful motivation is your story, your attitude. Michigan loves you back !
Thanks James, ML&R
Consistently in awe of what you find! Each discovery I think can't be topped, but again and and again I'm overwhelmed!
