How do I know if the first fuse is messed up? 😅

I don’t know if anyone’s answered your question yet or not but looking through the little glass window on that long blue fuse you’ll be able to tell because you’ll either see the wires burnt or there will be a heavy smoke presence over one of the fuses

Thank you for your video. I just bought this 2007 Camry and it’s overheating water or coolant was bubbling in the reservoir. I didn’t pay attention but I don’t think the fans kicked on. Would that cause the coolant to get that hot ? I don’t think it’s a head gasket because I checked the oil and it’s fine. Any help would be appreciated. I’m going to test the fans and I’ll let you know if that’s the issue. Thank you for your helpful video

I have this car. When its cranked the fans aren't on. When I put it in gear the fans come on. I have always owned Chevrolets or Gmcs. I just learned this is normal for a Toyota. Apparently they overheat. I met someone else with one to in the mall parking lot. I saw them get out, open the hood, disconnect the battery cable and lower the hood without closing it. They said if they don't on hot days they come out of the store and it won't crank. I tried opening my hood, waited five minutes and it cranked right up. I'm going to buy a new grill with better air flow and maybe a different hood with a breather.
I know that's not your issue I figured if share to maybe help at least one person not get stuck in a parking lot or making payments to a toe company unnecessarily.
It's a super easy car to work on though.

Other things to check that it could be.
Insufficient coolant in the system. Has to be Asian coolant.
      Defective water pump.
Radiator core blocked or the grill restricted
      Faulty thermostat
Broken or cracked electric coolant fan blades
Radiator cap not maintaining proper pressure
A fault in the engine management system
Start with the cheep stuff first. Always diagnosis before repairing.
      Good luck.

I have an avalon with 2gr fe engine. if I move the fan by hand like you do, it starts working for couple minutes. Then it stops again. Btw driver side fan is working fine. So in my case, is the issue fan assembly? Thanks.

I've got a question. I've got a 04 Camry LE 2.4 L .my cooling fan #1 isn't working at all. I've checked the fuse and it's good and checked the relay and not sure if it's any good but reading ohm's is 166.5 and I've turned the key on and checked the plug at the motor and my test light doesn't show power. But the AC fan does work but not the regular cooling fan which is #1 .

How do I remove that fuse assembly? Also the cable with the 90 degree lug that supplies that fuse power is corroded on my Camry. Do you know what that cable is called?

I have a 09 hour Toyota Camry has this problem you can unplug the wires from the module and run them to the battery and the fan will come on does that mean it’s the module that need to be replaced?

I have a 1985 Camry. One fan stopped working, but when I pug it into the other fan’s connector, it does work. Is this just a wiring issue? How might I fix this?

I have a 2011 Toyota Camry XLE with the 3.5L and my fans will not come on unless I jump from the battery. I can't tell if the fuse is blown or not. I changed the fan assembly and fan control module and still nothing. I put a different relay. Nothing. I tried jumping the relay as shown and nothing. I'm at a loss as what to do from here.

My fan intermittently won't turn on when my AC is on. Giving it a wack with the back of a screwdriver makes it turn back on and it works for a while, but then eventually I need to give it another wack and it will start up again. Does this point to the fan motor going bad?

My friend, I have something like this in Avalon 2007, and the fan is not working, and I think it's a fuse. What do you think is the problem?

Any idea where the A/C relay is for a 2011 Camry?

  • @milespi5556
    @milespi5556 2 роки тому

Effective video, I have the same engine in my Camy the driver side side turns on when the a/C is on, but the driver aide fan never comes on not even when temperature goes higher than 220 even 240, still no fan. The fan motor seems to work, I switched the plugs to see if it works and it does but when I put it back, to the plug it belongs to it never turns on. Maybe there is a temperature switch for it to come. If you any experience with this complaint, I'd be glad to hear your thoughts, thank you!
