I was glad that Hasbro re-issued this VAMP with minor modern tweaks to it for the 25th Anniversary line! I never had this as a kid; I was able to pick up as an adult! The VAMP is one of those G.I. Joe vehicles that has aged well! Clutch is a solid figure for 25th Anniversary line! The G.I. Joe Club should make the tan version of this same Clutch figure but change out his lower arms for better articulated ones; maybe change out his legs for better ones also (..and make his helmet fit better on his head)! The 25th Anniversary toy line is what got me back into collecting G.I. Joes again This is a nice set! Hey Hasbro we still need these cartoon accurate figures from the Sunbow cartoon: Breaker, Steeler, Sgt. Thunder, Captain Ace and Torpedo (..you can get these figures to us thru the G.I. Joe Club)! Vehicles and play sets that we still need re-released are: the Cobra Moray, the Killer Whale, the Cobra ASP re-modified for modern Joe figures, the Mauler and Wolverine!
The vamp and the bike were the very first vehicles....I had em all. God I loved my childhood. The biggest thing I see different on it is that gun on the back. The very first vamp didn’t have it.
this was my first GI Joe toy - i got it after passing 4th grade and it was the start of something that would go on to play a huge role in my childhood

Very cool video review! I'm looking forward to more of your GI Joe toy reviews!
I'm not even sure the first Vamp had a shovel. I know the hood didn't open. I'll have to look at mine. It was one of my first Joe vehicles as a kid.

The original didn't have shocks. You're thinking of the awe striker
