1st race was from 50 MPH
2nd race was from 50 MPH

this was incredibly awesome, especially at those speeds. GT500 does very well for being almost 100% stock. love the side by side races. and the driver of the M5 was correct..your the best. there is NOTHING like this channel.

It’s interchangeable from 4WD to 2WD, so most likely for this roll he disconnected the front axle
@@ApexStreetTeam I doubt it. Still same power loss in 2WD quite sure it’s just for drifting and to help with under steer on the track.

good race, the gt500 gives him a 50 roll fight, but in 60 is when the m5 is more hooked and there is nothing to do for gt500 !
Probably a bit of heat soak in that gt500 having some affect as well

@@scq50s21 bmws get heat soaked too it’s a faster car with those mods only close race was when gt left on 2 and the m5 driver didn’t really shift right he was shifting early around 6100

U r wrong. The 500 stock is capped at 180 electronically. Once the 500s eCU maps 175 mph at 6th it cuts power post 6000 rpm to limit top speed to 180.
Pretty sure this 500 can hang on to M5 with this tune if its ecu was not tuned this way. But on a flip side for safety reasons this is a good move by Ford.
It’s because the M5 stopped short shifting. This driver short shifts so much it even caused him to lose to an E85 M4

The black coupe with the red mirrors... with some modified turbos, more fuel and a Schmidty toon, it'll be one of the fastest cars on the Channel. Cost around 6 grand if that car is stock.

Basically GT500 is stock with not even an aftermarket tune. I predict with just even a nice tune, long tube headers and cat back on 93 the 500 would leave the M5.

I've been seeing alot of these jumpy leap frogs lately and i think you should simply ask are both drivers ready and just yell Go. It eliminates any anticipation of a countdown and jumping. Just let the drivers know ahead there won't be a countdown

@@mizaellaremarshall3311 there's plenty of vids of races going both ways i just know for fact mod for mod the germans can't compete. 97% of the races where lighter less powerful cars win they're racing bone stock cats on shitty tires. Soon as one has any mods it quickly goes the other way. Even killed a few modded M5s got that on my channel too
