Great runs, as always, most underrated racing channel on YT. M5 and E63S are the best sedans ever made. I love Gtrs, but with all those mods, i would have thought the Gtr would win.
Great cars I agree, but they cost a lot and maintenance cost even more, also it's very hard to find a decent mechanic that knows how to work on these cars.
Really wish more people could appreciate both cars, really tired of bmw vs Mercedes. I’m a bmw fanboy but the E63s is an absolute god tier sedan. Also there’s no need to speak on the gtr, legendary car for a reason.
It's an older GT-R, and with those mods, he's barely making 600 whp.

@@ytsux9259 He is making over 600 closer to 650 depending on the tuner he has. It is older and the M5 comp has been unlocked with running E so its actually the faster top end car. Modified GTR turbos will be out of breath after 140mph. if he had say a BL setup the M5 wouldn't be able to catch him up top.

Everybody here seems to think stock engine in f90 will bend the rods when being pushed that hard. They don’t understand with limiting torque to 1000wnm that it holds up just fine.

@@videodude357 I’ll say up to 5.8s stock engine is safe, I know they are capable of going 5.3-5.6 but it’s past the safety limit of stock rods, I wouldn’t do it long term that way. Nevertheless 5.6s is definitely moving for sure!! 💨 🚀

Great vid, did not expect the M5 to walk the GTR down in the second race especially with stock turbo’s but hey, it’s German engineering.
Can’t upgrade turbos on those without them blowing up. This guy is pushing his luck at that power level engine can go boom anytime when it’s 750wheel hp or more which this is. Very rapid car! My 19 E63S runs identical 6.8 60-130 I’m stage 2 with E25 blend fuel.
You can upgrade the turbos on the F90 without anything blowing up if you get the proper tune, but to your point, the f90’s won’t last long with increased power, and anything over 700 whp is putting the rods in danger. In other words to get the full potential of upgraded turbos, going to have to build the motor.
@@franklinwatson7767 If the F90 M5 came factory fully forged like the E63S M177 I would of bought it since I would be pushing 1000 wheel hp with no fear of bending my rod. There is 950-1000 wheel hp E63S out there mid 9s that are still in one piece. One of the main reason I upgraded from my 5.5 M157 AMG to 4.0 M177 was it was factory fully forged that means it can handle high HP without bending its rods like the 5.5 M157 or 4.4 M5 engine. Unless you have deep pockets and a big M fan I don’t see the regular person spending 30-40k with labour to forge internals.

I have a video running a 2016 M6 same mods as me stage 2 and I get him 3 car lengths. I really want to run a M5 comp stage 2. Lots of these M177 E63S aren’t properly tuned like mine and people say “stage for stage” M5 is faster id like to experience that. My trap is 135MPH so is a stage 2 M5 comp… Sure you can make the M5 faster by pushing it more but end game is getting your rods bent. I can become faster by upgrading my fuel pumps and going E40 tune or upgraded turbos and put down 950 wheel hp. Only way a M5 would have a chance then if it’s forged and upgraded turbos as well. By then they’re both mid 9 second cars and at that point you’re more money in the M5 than E63S while the Benz having the better interior. Reason why the stock M5 comp is slight faster than E63S is .4 displacement and bigger stock turbos. Even stage for stage it holds its ground against the M5. Realistically it’s who’s got the better tune and pushing the car more. In this case the E63S M177 is better for that.
Sub 7 sec _60-130 is fast as hell… dude bmw has that top end so dialed it’s baffling 💪🏻🤘🏻

Dragy measures 60-100 and 100-150 as well
The racebox has other measurement settings. You can only put 4 on the screen. So i could swap some out if I wanted to.
The 2014 looks great for being a 2014, for some reason the m5 looks outdated for a 2019
A bit dated because it’s very similar to the 2012 f10 m5 body style but at least it’s very clean, traditional look and grille. I like that it’s more iconic than the newer stuff bmw is coming out with these days.
Great stuff as always @AutoGlory - shows how far the M platform has come. My tuned F95 X5M is a beast to 100-110mph then physics kicks in lol.

@@EnjoytheMoments i have a 19 E63S stage 2 with a splash of E25 blend fuel. I have draggy time of me running 60-130 in 6.81 which means I’m as quick as this M5 with E40. Except I won’t bend my rods! Nonetheless M5 comps are really quick! If I upgrade my fuel pumps and run E40 I would def be quicker than this M5. But they say if I’m upgrading my pumps might as well do the turbos to achieve 950 wheel. I don’t know which route to take I def want to upgrade stock pumps and add a E content reader as well from spool.

I know the M157 now can achieve insane numbers you’re a living example. You think you can crack 9.9s? Maybe turn up boost and go E50? Or what they call boost by gear? You’re running very healthy 60-130 and 1/4 times.

Not sure if it’s worth me experiencing 800 wheel what like 30-40 times before a rod bends and breaks? I’m 750 wheel hp on my E63s and it’s factory forged so I’m not worried. There is even 950 wheel E63s M177 engines that are still in one piece. That’s like 1200HP crank lol. It’s funny the AMG also always produces 100 wheel more tq than F90 M5s and still doesn’t have these issues. If the F90 M5 came factory forged like the E63 M177 engine it would be the better engine to mod but it’s not. Costs 30-40 grand to do so.

It's not delusional it's what he made on the dyno. The times you see is in the summer time and with 2 people in the car.
These two robot cars are running very mainstream and consistent setups, yet guys are complaining that they are not fast. Dragy/RaceBox deals with actual current conditions. Put the same car through cooler weather and closer to sea level, then it becomes faster. Take a passenger out then it becomes faster. Go with a slight downhill and its faster. Let the car fully cool down and it becomes faster. Stop living in fantasy by reading "best times" on the internet. My own car's can best and average over 1.X second(s) apart, from being early in the morning to late afternoon heat same day and location. Understand the variables.

M5CS from like a 60 roll will walk a Hellcat Redeye just to give you an idea of how fast these things are. From a dig even in RWD mode they walk Redeye's.

Not sure if you’re referring to me when I asked why not dragy on a previous video, I never said racebox isn’t accurate, dragy is just better as of now to use because of leaderboards and the video recording format. Maybe later racebox will catch up once they add more features.
It wasn't just you. I had other comments in different videos of people saying use a dragy when the racebox was shown. It wasn't a lot, but since there were a few who were saying that, I wanted to share a side by side comparison to show the accuracy. The biggest issue is people don't realize the variables that make up times in racing ( temperature, DA, slope, extra passenger, engine temps, IATs, etc... ) and they look at another video and say somethings wrong with car if ti doesn't show similar times.
@@AutoGlory I agree with you, especially since it’s summer rn it’s gonna slow cars down when the air is humid and it’s warmer than usual. Not the best time to go for personal best times haha

Gtr is down on power - slower than a FBO - 6.7 in a R35 is a 137-138 trap.
Gtr isnt running bad... it's just summer time and it's hot and humid here. E40 tuned M5s can do highs 5s no passenger in better weather and you saw it did. Many people are saying that about the gtr but I saw the dyno pull video of it when it got retuned and the power curve was good. I actually showed the graph in the video against the 911.
