- In this video I'm gonna create minecraft using unreal engine 4 (ue4). It doesn't have the best performance or the most features but believe in my dino-words - it is good enough! Game development is not too hard as you think and also might be very fun!

pc players when they realise unreal engine is prebuilt and they're using blueprints and other plugins built by other people instead of c++ (they still aren't building it from scratch)

I'd really like to see a way to integrate this with Vauxhall engine or Vauxhall farm plugins in a hybrid way so that while the world is generated it can still also have a level of physics that allows for the blocks to be deformed, while also introducing other features like fluid dynamics and Ray tracing etc...
it's hard to believe that it's been almost a decade now if not a whole decade and the genre really has still not been completely tapped to its potential

Another cool thing worth mentioning would be to allow the player and the world generation to function with greater subdivisions I've always liked the idea of a Minecraft where each individual block is made up of four smaller blocks so basically the scale of blocks is smaller but the trick to that is managing the surface layer of blocks in memory so that you have layers of block strata.
