I just watched this show yesterday and I'm really really thankful to Netflix for coming to India. The show was very different from the typical horror shows and the final episode was just amazing. The suspense, the thrill. A must watch for everyone.
A significant percentage of the world's population resides in India, so they certainly want that market. But yes, there's a lot of talent in India, and it's talent that should be given the opportunity to thrive beyond the oftentimes lameness of Bollywood.

i watched this one sitting and i was disappointed that there wasn't any more. Ghoul was an amazing show with a juicy twist. I hope to see a season 2 in the near future, because the ending was such a huge cliffhanger.

Just watched it, a great show with amazing camera work, lighting and setting when compared to your average Hindi soap/big budget horror. Radhika delivers her part like always. The substance itself isn't as great in the end and it gets lame but damn me if this isn't the start of great Indian horror content from Netflix. Keep it up guys ❤️

Legit got goosebumps. Nothing like a good scary thriller and Bollywood severely lacks in that Genre. I hope this is as scary as Raat or Bhoot or Madhumati. Love Radhika!

This one had such a potential but the end was full of sh*t. I didn’t like the lead actress because her character was such a hypocrite. The whole situation could’ve been avoided if she didn’t turn in her own father. She killed her boss because she believed he was the ghoul - and there was no certainty that he was. And then, she felt like she’s been mistreated even all of her own actions led to that point that she eventually got arrested. And what she did then? She summoned the ghoul, even tho the cops who arrested her haven’t done anything to her. They didn’t witness the slaughtering or that the ghoul existed. So therefore she should just accept her punishment.
Such a shame to ruin the ending.

Not a rip off but DEFINITELY inspired. Tokyo Ghoul is a popular anime after all. this concept has been there for ages within fantasy genre but give me example of other movies/tv show that uses it in modern setting. A ghoul with creepy voice that turn into a violent creature in modern day.
I'm going to watch it and compare. But really anyone with a brain can see the resemblance. Many producer steal and copy from other movies or tv series. It's nothing new. Don't get butthurt over it.
