Really enjoyed this Video, love seeing the kubota side by side with tracks in action, one more thing added to the wish list! Your trails look beautiful after grooming. Wouldn't mind a few videos like this ☺
real good machine. Your drag is working out awesome! Tracks are really the best thing. Got them on my Yamaha Grizzly 660 and it allows me to pull my drag all winter long. Cheers
Thanks Rick! Seems like it snows just before each weekend here… by the time I get the trails groomed so I can cut wood, it”s time to go back to my day job!
I can't believe you had plans in case you get stucked with the tracks... It sure drags a lot of power using the tracks, 25hp being limited on speed then. But that hydrostatic transmission is the best for that application though. This groomer makes a nice job! I should include a pan on the back of mine. Thanks!
Salut Joe, yep, I have a pan on mine also and it seems to be a self loading unit. You start dragging and the pan loads up with snow and packs the trail even better. I always carry a shovel .... just in case and for clearing the pan when I'm done and want to store the drag by leaning it against a tree. Cheers
How's she goin'? The side X side with the tracks is sure the machine you need for getting in and out of the woods in winter. Your trail groomer works some nice to. Thanks for sharing.
I have the same Camso TS1 tracks on our Kubota X1140, the one with the two rows of seats. These don't have a cab, but neither does a snowmobile. The tracks are a very significant reduction in speed but the huge flotation footprint has never gotten us stuck here in Central Ontario. The drawback to the big 1140 is its length on tight trails, but that is compensated by having room for the grandkids. Just discovered your channel. Love that algorithm.
Thanks for checking our little channel out! My only complaint with this RTV is the speed but I knew what I was signing up for when I bought it! What a workhorse…..
@@OakMountainAcotts Yes, there is a reason these diesel Kubotas are extremely popular with people who actually need a work machine for farm or forestry. And the locking rear diff control has gotten me out of some sketchy situations on our property. I like your idea of a gas powered portable winch to mount on the rear receiver. You can't always pull yourself forwards. What model is it? Thanks.
@m.cooper1854 Curtis cab makes a cab for the Kubota x1140 and it still let’s you convert it into a 2 seater and have the bigger bed without taking any of the cab panels off.
I am enjoying your videos. We are buying a 1100c to access our cabin in winter. Trying to decide on Tracks?? Are you having good luck with the Camso UTV 4S1. Also looking at the Mattracks, which are twice the cost. Do you have an opinion with you and your friends out in snow country? We are in California and not a whole lot of opinions out here.
Hi Bob, my dealer advised they would only install camso on the x1100c. Apparently other brands do not stand up to the weight of the machine. Having said that Matt tracks look amazing but are very expensive as you say. I have no complaints with the camso tracks. Try an x1100c out before you buy it. They are very slow. Make sure you are okay with that. They are also a bit under powered with tracks on in high range. In low range, there seems to be no issue. They are a true workhorse though and I think they will last for years. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
you cant beat the tracks Jason like i said before we used them at Bear Lake park in Alberta checking for blow down trees and looking for picnic tables thought someone stole the tables but where just covered in snow i found them when i drove over top of them so we figured we were in 3 feet of snow for sure and had no problem but we did have a turbo on our machine made for more torque
@@OakMountainAcotts lol yup everything gets stuck but we use a winch that we can put on the front or the back so and a snatch block to double line if we have to the bad thing about it getting stuck is if you have to winch out backwards you have to dig out the receiver to mount the winch cause its usually that gets stuck not the front. Acouple of other things you should carry is a 4x4 block of wood a hydraulic jack and a 9/16 wrench in case you ever do throw a track. and it was great to see ranger the timber dog groomerdog and allround dog lol tc bud keep the videos coming enjoy them
Those tracks make the machine invincible!!! Boss of the swamp has those on his machine too.
I think they work pretty good! Scared to really test them though because that machine will come out hard!
Your camera girl does an excellent job!
Thank you!

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback! Sometimes we struggle with content ideas in the Winter... the snow really puts a damper on things :)

I love idling through the trails in this RTV. A thermos of coffee and the radio on…. I could go all day!
a good woods addition for sure Jason!!

Loved when pup was like wait for me dad ok dad over here too lol 😊😊
Ranger is almost 7 years old but you wouldn’t know it when we go to the woods!
Nice vidéo, your groomer seems to make a great job !
Thanks Michel, it is working well. Trying the tractor and trailer on the trail in the morning!
You have come a long way from that Honda 3 wheeler, love your video Jason
Thanks a lot… +25 years in the making!

I think she could use another 10 hp! It works good though, I could listen to that diesel purr all day long!

I would rather have 25 hp vs pollution control diesels.
I haven’t had one any larger yet… I hear the DEF is expensive…
@@yvesjolicoeur747 I do the same! Carry a shovel (when the snow is wet) and lean the drag vertical.
Beautiful land!
Thanks Frank! We have a lot of work to do yet but it is coming along nicely!

Hi Mike, Karen slid her suv off of the driveway today and the SxS pulled it out. I was impressed! Thanks for watching, Jason.
@@OakMountainAcotts There's another good use for them, but I hope you don't have to do that too often!!

Hi, we purchased the portable winch co pwc-4000 model.

Great add on. Where do you get the kit for the tracks...
I bought everything through the Kubota dealer

Did you try pulling the throttle control nob to increase rpm?
I haven’t tried that… might get a little more out of her! Thanks for the idea…
Do the tracks you have come in wider widths for more floatation?
Compared with tyres the floatation (and smaller "impact/inch²) is substantially smaller. You can drive where you almost can't walk...
I'm not sure.... the dealer said they would only install Camso on these RTVs because nothing else would stand up to the weight?
Yes, I would like to try them in about a foot of fresh powder to see what they will do....
Stay warm up there
We’re trying Tommy. Sun has some power in it now, won’t be long ‘til Spring !
Yes, nice and easy does it 👍🏼. To hard over stumps and stones and the tracks come off 🤭😋...
Agreed.... nice and easy and feel your way through the trails!

😁👍
Thank for supporting our channel!
That machine is certainly a crawler! Let’s put a turbo charger on it- bring it up to around 40hp!
That would be something… is it possible?
@@OakMountainAcotts anything is possible, but practical? Probably not…
