This. This is the level of detail and insight that makes great GK content so great. My last few games have been filled with through balls tearing the defence open and leaving me in 1 v 1 situations. My attitude has normally been to just rush out, but watching your video now I can add a new dimension to how I think about it and even buy myself a precious few seconds to read the game and make a decision. Thank you!
It's some really good advice.
I was kind of forced to stay home by my lack of size, because i got chipped so often when I rushed out.
What made it even more effective for me, especially in amateur leagues where players often watch the ball and don't keep their head up is faking to come out of the net, when the striker does have his head up.
This can have many positive outcomes for you:
1. The striker completely takes the bait and tries to chip it over you and you make an easy save
2. The striker is afraid to take long touches, loses speed and your defenders can catch up
3. The striker thinks you're coming out and might have already made up his mind to go around you, which will make them panic even more when you take that option away by dropping back.
The reason I’m Better at gk is because of you and I’ll always appreciate your vids bro keep it up. You give me motivation to go pro, 18 now and got back into football recently, only in Sunday league at the moment but already first line goalkeeper for the team. Also going to try out Saturday league to improve myself and get known. Thank you, keep doing you.
Good luck, I just read a story about a player that is close to being signed by a team near the top of the English second division and started with Sunday league. Considering you're 18 and have a lot of time, you can definitely go pro
Reading situations and positional awareness is huge. Info like this is so invaluable. The Courtois vid was really good, and this expansion of how and why this tactic is applied in game scenario’s is perfect. Thanks as always for your excellent content.
Take note in that one replay of how the GK quickly checks his post before adjusting his set up position.
I play in Masters League with the other old blokes, but I'm still learning. Most guys at my level can't finish, so I definitely find that the stand your ground, make them hesitate, then rush them approach works really well for me. Most strikers in a 1 v 1 are waiting for the keeper to commit, so the longer you stay standing, and the closer they get, then the panic starts to set in, especially if they can hear a defender closing in.
Great vid, new subscriber right here.
this is probably the most useful information I've gotten out of a video from yours! keep it up man
Good to hear man. I'll look into doing some more videos in this kind of style
Huge, huge fan of the channel! Always watch your videos before and after a match and they help immensely. Having some difficulty with spread/split save technique, would anyone here (or even Tyler himself) have vid suggestions? Only ones I've found relate more to futsal. Anyway, deeply appreciate the content here, so quality!
I just wanted to say thanks
I have been watching youre videos for a lot of time and now i am going to play in my distrct for the first time
Thank you
Tyler. Once you are back in your 6 if the striker takes a big touch you would use the fast approach slow arrival, meaning gain as much ground as possible “(fast approach)” but be aware when to get set, “(slow arrival”)
Great skill, got that. In 1vs1 situation, I'd better fall back to small box line, and keep set position. Waiting for striker run into large box, and then make decision, rush out or block.
I watched your video before my game today and I made a class save. thanks for the tips🐐
Love your videos Tyler!
Showing this to my keeper, very good content GK
BRO YOU ARE LIKE ALLISON BUCKER😚😍❣️
great vid again.. keep up the good work. cant wait for more awesome vids!!
Making Noise also help alot, Saying KEEPER confuses the striker and in turn will make mistakes
This channel will help me a lot
Thank you so much for this. I'ma try this in training today and try to lock it down.
Your videos are so informative! Keep up the good work, man.
What a nice vidio and very educative I have a huge quarter final to play on Monday and this could be of help thanks
Good video. I'm actually doing this more this season after last season getting beat twice at the 18 yard
Really looove this kinda video, thanks for sharing broo
3 clips about brazil and 2 about the team i love (flamengo, the black and red)
This was amazing.
Great video!
Now I realized that striker can be force to made an "indirect mistakes" by doing a good positioning as a goalkeeper. Thanks alot...
great video!!!
Loved the video!
Super helpful!!
Great video
Lovely, please can you do something on communicating with defenders? Thanks 🙏
Here's one I did a while ago that should help you out if you haven't seen it yet ua-cam.com/video/JlHMXhYBnPg/v-deo.html&&ab_channel=GKGOLUREMI
@@GKGOLUREMI thanks a lot. Gem 💎
Thank you brother
Thank you
Thankyou soooo much
Perfect video.
What size are your arm and leg sleeves I need to know because my arms and legs are about the size of yours and I need the sleeves for soccer
GK Goluremi, i have a question. Recently i started playing in a team and it's my first time in a professional sized goal. I am doing very very bad in goal, it's physically impossible for me to get down to the bottom corner (the top corners are even harder). It's like the posts are 20 metres away from me. So, i would love for you to make a tutorial on how to dive further, or just general performance in professional sized goals for begginers (people who have no experience with professional sized goals, not people who just started keeping). By the way, the goalkeepers we watch on TV and stuff, make it look somewhat easy and manageable, it turns out to be 10x harder than what i expected. Making this tutorial would do me and other beginners in professional sized goals, a huge favour.
Replying a short answer is more than enough, im not like forcing you to actually make a tutorial.
To conclude, my main problem is not diving far enough, ive got everything else down.
A lot of that is really going to come down to your age/size. If you are only 12/13 and just moved to professional sized goals no matter what you do you're going to struggle reaching the corners. Just because of how much space you need to cover. But I'm planning to film a video on extension dives soon that should help you out.
Im turning 17 next month, is this a problem? And should keepers my age be able to get down to the corners? Thank you for your response by the way.
@@rayblitz1713 Again really depends on your size. It also depends on your positioning. Not many keepers in general can reach the corners from the center of the goal with just a single power step
73% yessir
Don't worry I ran the numbers and it's scientifically proven

Good vid👍👍👍
I would say 90 % not 73 % thank you GK Goluremi 👍🤙
I was at the shamrock rovers game
But in the second clip, the striker could easy just go around the keeper if he look up. And if the keeper do this stupid futsal block he wont be able to act like a goalkeeper with his hands.
The futsal-block only works if the ball is shoot close, but if the striker maintain the ball at the feet and look up he has no possibility to save with the hands like he would do , and like the keeper 4.15 min in does.
The futsal block dont work when the keeper is outside the 6 yardbox because the striker have more then 6 yards area to run, and can easy go around the keeper. In futsal the shoots are from 2-6yards and the keeper only do blocking and reflex saves.
I'm confused of when to do the spread. Is it after the ball is shot or is it when the striker moves his foot
Great video man, I’m gonna try it out. Nevertheless, I have a question. I am not a very big goalie, I mean I’m 5’7 do you think it will be good for me to try it out?
As a 5’7 and a bit keeper, I used this for my game on Sunday, won 2-1 and saved a one on one
Hey GK Gourami, I have a questions and I was hoping you leave a comment.
I am doing a Major Design Project to get my High School Certificate. The project will concentrate on designing a product that reduces finger, hand, and/or wrist injuries suffered by amateur goalkeepers, while keeping equivalent levels of performance.
I would massively appreciate if you could comment some advice regarding the factors you think I need to consider when building this product, as well as what Improvements you would want to see in existing finger, hand, and wrist protection products?
Many thanks,
Marcello Simi

Hi tyler, should i take perfect fit gloves or a little bigger?
Hey, I'm not Tyler but I can answer this for you. It depends on your age really. If you're young and still growing then definitely a little bigger, but if you're a bit older then definitely perfect fit.
1:03 you can't be slandering the goat Mark McGinley i can't believe you used that clip
I feel this would be closer to 81 percent. 🤷
