- I've always been a fan of the Arc Hunter melee loop, and with Prismatic it seems that it's only getting better! This build sounds absolutely insane, and I have to stick with my opinion that Hunter got the best Prismatic stuff hands down. With the Exotic Class Items revealed, this build became even better. Being able to pair so many melee exotics with an already overloaded kit is outstanding.
I'm really excited for The Final Shape, and all the buildcrafting possibilities that are coming with it. I don't think Prismatic will overtake Solar Hunter and Golden Gun as the "Meta" DPS options, but I believe that people who play Void and Arc will be more than pleasantly surprised.

Spirit of the caliban is a lot stronger than you initially thought. It states that just like classic calibans hand, it creates an ignition, but on any powered melee final blow now. Ignitions have by far the best AOE and damage, especially with the fragment that increases ignition radius
Oh wow yeah, I misread it and put explosion in my notes. That gives way more viability to run the ignition/shatter fragment, I was thinking about including that one because we know that you can use the transcendence grenade multiple times every activation and that fragment boosts it by a ton.
Yep you could get crazy amount of ignitions since both your grapple and Melee can create them....I have also have an inkling that verity will be very powerful with hunter grapple. It says it buffs grenade damage and grapple is also coded as a grenade so I don't see why it wouldn't work. I also wonder if it would work with a GG. GG can proc things like firepower or demo so I don't see why it wouldn't. Could be build where you have crazy enhanced melees from combination blow/ grapple and an enhanced GG....don't know if it will work but I am interested to find out.

I would recommend to go with Liars Handshake and Caliban for Higher Level content for the healing on the counterpunch and the Duskfield Grenade for more add Control. And for lower Tier instead of Liar the Spirit of gyrfalcon and have a weapon with Repulsar brace. To make this build more universal. Also the facet of Ruin increases the ignitions of calibans Hand.😊
I will be making a spirit of assassin/gyrfalcon stylish executioner build using the grapple melee, combo blow and buried bloodline to keep devour up.

Once the class item perks were revealed, I thought of a build with insane DR that just dwarfs the Renewal Grasp hunter. Run Spirit of Renewal and Cyrtarachne with Tether as a super with Facet of Purpose, Facet of Protection, Duskfield, and Threaded Spike. I'd probably do Spector and Stylish for Aspects for just getting away from enemies but this means you can throw a Duskfield to gain Woven Mail for a 45% DR, stand in the field for a 25% DR, enemies in the field deal 50% less damage, throw TS to Sever enemies so they do another 50% less damage, picking up an orb gives Void Overshield for 100hp and 50% more DR, being near enemies gives you another 25% DR and then tier 10 resilience gives you a final 30% DR. You run Buried Bloodline for Devour to keep Duskfields up constantly while also getting health back. Depending what Frost Armor does, could swap Tether for S&S so we'll see. If you wanna be more aggressive, you could always swap Spector for Gunpowder
That's a really cool idea for a different style. I was thinking about swapping to Gunpowder for lower-tier content where you don't really need the survivability boost and weaken from Stylish. I think Spectre still is really strong for general ad-clear with the threadlings, sever and explosion, whereas Stylish is more useful for staying alive in-between killing high prio targets in harder content.
You could run nav and a one two punch shotty and use the tangle catalyst for even higher damage with infinite grapple
Yeah Navi Catalyst + grapple melee with this build and Spirit of Synthos (in lack of Wormgod) can get pretty competitive numbers on paper compared to banner of war + wormgod, but also while being easier to maintain than wormgod setups in group activities.
Another build video yay! if people need help with builds in a game like destiny 2, it must be that you have been playing for not that long. Builds are pretty straight forward
