I always wanted a RC plane when I was a kid but they were just too expensive at the time. I purchased 2 planes. The FMS 1200mm Ranger with Floats RTF and the EFLIGHT Habu 70mm STS RTF Trainer. I will fly the Ranger until I get proficient and then switch back and forth as I please. I appreciate the videos and look forward to many years in the hobby.

this was incredibly helpful, thank you so much man. my dad got me a plane when i was pretty young, i absolutely loved the idea of flying rc planes but was terrified of crashing it (and soon enough I did, had fun while it lasted though) now i’m 27 and haven’t flown since. just put my ranger together with the help of this video and learned so much more than i had hoped. wish me luck on my maiden

They've changed the kit in small ways. I recieved mine and they do have subtle differences. I laughed about the folded manual , that pissed me off as well.

The one we have is tougher than Woodpecker Lips! I got the Plug & Fly version for my Daughter. She liked the Color of this one more so than the Apprentice.

Just got the ranger put together after watching this video (thank you for making it). I plugged the plane in and turned, on the remote and it cycled thru. Turned remote of and the propeller started spinning again ( almost got my inner calf's and then hands but my reflexes kicked in) but is it supposed to do that? Thank you for answers in advance!

My transmitter won’t work with my plane any ideas or tips to help me bind to my receiver again?
I have the RTF model and was wondering if i could use a larger size battery as the one it comes with is smaller in size to the ones i have. Can I use a larger C rating than a 25C and what does the C mean. I have seen many batteries that have 30,40,50 and 60c but have only bought the 25C ones as I don't know what the C is.

Yes, for sure! That's what it's for. Using flight aids is nothing to be ashamed of. You'll grow out of it after a while!
I just found the channel, it’s so helpful and I love watching the long build videos! I just ordered the ranger 1220 today! I got a extra prop, and landing gear to be safe. I want to get extra batteries and a charger or 2. What would you recommend?? I want to get 2-3 extra batteries. Would it be able to work with a higher capacity like 2200mah or would you recommend additional 1300mah batteries??
On this bird, the 1300mah 3S size is very nice, but you COULD also go with 2200, but she'll be less forgiving.

Just getting back into RC only have flown trainers back 10-15 years ago hoping for a little help on batteries for my new Ranger 1220 I do plan on getting a receiver looking at the NX8 but help on which batteries should I be using

Sure could! We'd probably recommend an AR630 or AR631 if you want AS3X and SAFE...

I’m setting up crow braking on my EC 1500. My ailerons keep moving in opposite directions when I apply crow. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong and I can’t find answers online either. I’m sure it’s something super simple. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
EC1500, is probably going to force you to change the wiring. I don't know if the left and right ailerons are on their own channels.
I also have to assume you're on the BNF plane? If not, then should be do-able, otherwise, you'll probably have to load the LATEST AND GREATEST FIRMWARE on the Rx ( bprc.me/SPMA3065 USB to PC Programming SPMA3065 TX/RX USB Programming Cable ), then you can setup a virgin model, where you can make such assignments...BUT you will definitely need separate channels for the left and right ailerons OR they will work like you've described.

Hey i fly a like 60$ bf109 rc plane and it was tuff and it had a slow and fast mode on it and now i know how to fly really good anf stuff. Do u think fms c152 rtf be a good Upgrade and size difference for my Second plane. Pls help

41:07 how do you turn it? Cuz I can’t get that to move
Might be trying the wrong way??? They hold the wing on...so maybe you're not getting enough penetration...do you have a WIRE stuck in there or something strange? Double check you're free of binding, and if it still won't go...REMOVE the wing and try it when you can SEE...these locks will swivel so you can see it.

We'll that's news to us, but sounds like it might be legit. Unfortunately, our new contact at FMS doesn't seem to give a rip about getting us information, or planes in time for releases. We'll add this to our things to do ASAP, but only can do what they communicate to us.

It looks more like a Cessna 150/152.
It is a Cessna,FM's hasn't paid to use the name so it's a ranger.check the eflite 150t,they paid Cessna and they put the Cessna name on it.
