  • We had the pleasure to sit down with Namibian Prime Minister and former anti-apartheid activist Hage Geinbob in August 2012.
He was kind enough to tell his story, focusing particularly on his time at Fordham University in New York and of the experiences at the United Nations Institute for Namibia in Lusaka.

This interview idea was brilliant. Now we can listen directly from President Hage Geingob himself. A brilliant administrator and policy maker. Will always remember him for accelerating green energy development in Namibia. Thank you, God, for a blessing that President Dr. H.G. Geingob was!!!

RIP our beloved president. I hope someone will write his biography and publish a book. His life story is important data for historians and political scientists.

the reason you were prime minister was simply because nujoma was president and you are still proud of being in a position for 11 years not giving chance to people to govern namibia that is why more than 50 % of only 2.2 million people are unemployed .the inflation rate is high.you are ashamed of your culture and origin so how do you govern a country ?you live rich and the 50% of your people dont even make a living???/

jennifer Seibes It's a complicated thing. There's already a system set, so if you become the president that system can't just be changed, because 90% of our population is controlled by the elite.
