Time occurs because some piece of matter acted in a way described in our laws, in reference to another piece of matter.
A thing happens and then it’s gone. Present to the past right? But in space with zero matter, not even light, nothing is happening to nothing. Time isn’t really exsist.
We need an object or a thing to describe the past event. If there is no event there is no point to the past.
So if a million years goes by like that. It’s just a stagnant nothing.
We measure time by the events happening.
So, no matter, no time.
Here is a theory! Time is the creatior of everything! Time lays a pathway for everything to follow. Everything has its place on times scale. Time is so far beyond hunan comprehension just talking about it is pointless because time does not base itself according to any planet that it created. Time moves forward not in circles and it never returns. it cant be manipulated or altered in any way because we have no clue where time is and to base time according to earths rotation is where we fail advancment to the next level. In order to go back in time you have to first find the beginning of time and out run it but that will never happen if you believe just how far the next galaxy is then the beginning of time is inconcievable.

I personally dont believe in time dilation. Ten years going 100000000 mph around a sun, is still ten years on earth spinning at earths spin speed. .
Because Earth time is perceived with those speeds already. You are born at those speeds and die at those speeds, you know nothing but those speeds and your experience of time is what it's like at those speeds. Then you can change your relative speed to the Earth(fly off in a rocket) and experience time at different speeds(it will feel like regular time to you) because when you left earth you were already traveling at "100000000mph" or whatever it was you said when you left Earth and it imparted that speed on to you. You added on to that speed with your rocket when you leave Earth.
This is so extremely simplified it's not even funny but I hope it helps someone.
Time dilation is a fact. So it's got nothing to do with believing.
@@peterdamen2161 looks like that is correct. but time dilation isnt exactly the same as what we think. its just hard for me to wrap my head around it is all.
