Our reality could be fed to us like a simulation and our perception of it could then be an illusion while the reality outside the simulation would then be real and not an illusion.
YES ! I have been worried already for some time, it has been waaaaay too long. Thank you for the new masterpiece, moving to bed and switching to big screen. Cheers !
Death could be the end of one simulation and the begining of another. In some kind of a cyclic program where each time you forget 99.9% of the last time but have 0.1% deja vu experiences which you cant explain why and how you have experienced what you think you shouldnt have experienced.
Death is the end of this life and the beginning of the ‘life of the grave’. The grave is a different dimension where you will be met by two angels who will ask you the following questions: Who is you God? what is your religion? Who is Mohammed? Unless you answer by saying Allah is my God, my religion is Islam and Mohammed is the prophet of Allah, you can expect a burning and then on judgement day, all people who did not believe in Allah will go to hell FOREVER. Become Muslim!
Quantum entanglement being the basis for space is actually logical. If the big bang theory is correct and at some point in time everything was condensed to the size they postulate, wouldn't that suggest that everything contained within it was entangled? If so, everything is still entangled.

Atomic, observable 1D-4D = less real (not locally real). 1D-4D can be divided further (divisible). Subatomic, unobservable 0D = more real (locally real). 0D cannot be divided further (indivisible).
What is real is not the same as what is true. A dream you have at night is real, but once you wake up it is not true. What is true is like a non-finite and non-temporal screen and appearance is like a movie. Thats the best analogy we have. That or like an infinite eternal mirror.
Despite being a physics major, i would say ask people in poverty, suffering malnutrition, lacking medical treatment, just barely surviving in least developed economies, not to forget animals sufferring, if all this is an illusion?
And yet many in that situation from India in the Vedanta tradition believe just that. I think the term “illusion” causes misinterpretation as suffering is still experienced. Whether suffering is experienced by the “self” or external consciousness is a different matter. Irrespective as to the nature of reality, no belief system should abdicate the responsibility to alleviate suffering. One of my relatives died from a brain tumor, there was little they could do to control the insufferable pain, at that point the debate is irrelevant, whether the pain experienced is illusory or not. Even if the “self” is an illusion, we still experience otherwise.
Well suffering is not an argument against the simulation hypothesis, and the simulation hypothesis is a very old idea and certainly nothing new, that there are consequences for your actions are again not an argument against the simulation hypothesis, the experiments in quantum physics give you 2 options you either take the position that there are multiple worlds or universes or you take the position that you are in some sort of weird and very advanced simulation both positions have their merits and problems. 🤷🏼♂️
Reality is always illuson. Brain makes our world. Reality is dependet origination. Buddha said. Illusion is what we see, odur, sound, taste, Once Buddha said all are illusion what we experience through oure five faculties
The Boltzmann Brain was "an idle discussion, over a beer". No one was REALLY serious about it. But, like so many brain-farts, it was exploded out of all proportion by a few people who thought that they imagined this might be "quite something" - and left this turd for you to step up.
@@morenofranco9235 hmmmm not really although it was intended to highlight the absurd things that can happen in an infinite universe it was intended to show how absurd all infinities are whether its infinite monkeys with infinite time randomly typing the complete works of shakespeare or an infinite universe with infinite time spontaneously creating a disembodied brain by random chance or even a being that matched the description of a God. With infinite stuff and infinite time every absurd thing you can ever imagine gets realised.
Why do we experience the same and consistent reality? Through though is the simplest and shortest answer. We create our own reality. But in actual fact what we consider reality is not reality, it's more a dream state, an illusion. Take Time, we believe it linear and live, experience and get lost in it. But Time is always NOW. A single moment and if we were more open minded we'd open so many doors like instant space travel. We live in a multiverse. Each universe lasts a Planck moment. This gives us 14billion X 10million Planck moments per "second". Each of our individual universes follow very similar until they don't and we notice a slight difference but then dismiss it. Like putting something in one place and it's found in another. When we recognise this, much bigger shifts happen. ❤
As I already know you are not going to answer that question in your video, I am not going to waste time listening to is. What's more, both "reality" and "illution" are just words and constructs in the human mind.
Just as we are tbe byproducts of baryonic matter that have undergone the 2nd law over a long period of time, that has ordered that matter into complexity in an environment that allows complexity, what we experience as 'reality' could well be a byproduct of the quantum fields effects throughout the multiverse &/or higher dimensions? If we manage to survive as a species long enough & given mathematics is the language of our reality/the universe, it may be possible one day to find the 'code' to it all, if we are intelligent enough or our machines are. Fascinating all the same!
This gives me Neville Godard’s whole The Human Consciousness Is The Wisdom and Strength of God, therefore IS God, because you cannot separate the Wisdom and Strength OF God FROM God. (Imaginative power is the God of scripture)
what if this is how humans will travel. not physically but as energy. blasted to another dimension before a physical body dies. no 1 thing makes anything reality. but a chain of separate events to culminate together to arrive at a final out come. from tiny to huge. the uncertainty is variables like a gps on ur phone. it can predict a time but really dont know. traffic is anything but predictable. what human eyes see can be manipulated, very easy . cause and effect, result. is the reality
Keeps on saying, “brain has developed over billions of years…” end of the day, Allah created everything and did so for us to worship Him. Hell is hot! You can kid other people, but DON’T KID YOURSELF!!!

This whole discussion is just sci-fi. It reminds me of George Berkeley's idea of whether a tree falling in the forest makes a sound. I doubt humans will ever understand the brain and many other phenomena. But making up interesting possible answers to weird questions is a waste of time unless you are Philip K Dick and do it for a living. Can we not live with uncertainty on some subjects without making up silly untestable hypotheses? Besides quantum mechanics is tiny stuff and we live in the world of big stuff. Let's avoid the Deepak Chopra woo woo stuff, shall we?
And I would suggest that if you're not happy with this video, you should probably find something else to watch & let us weirdos watch this stuff. I think it's interesting at least.
Reality is not an illusion, people’s perception of reality is
Damn. Never thought of it that way. Mks good sense, i'll remember that one 🔥🔥🔥
Reality could be an illusion. We can't speak for other consciousness'.
Our reality could be fed to us like a simulation and our perception of it could then be an illusion while the reality outside the simulation would then be real and not an illusion.
Absolutely.
Everything you can imagine is real. Because Consciousness and Energy is the Absolute truth.
This is one of the better videos on big questions I've found on UA-cam. I'm pretty sure I've watched them all. Kudos.

Life and the Universe.
It is, what it is, because of what it is.
lf it were not so, then it would not be.
One answers at that time, your reaction changes the equation
To answer the question in the title: it is not, otherwise it would be called illusion and vice versa.
Illusion that your consciousness can live on past ones death is posterity of infinite possibilities not to reality can exist.
So electrons and photons are conscious & psychic? It knows its not being observed?
Every action has an equal an opposite reaction
