These Daigo videos you’ve made have been really great and interesting. I really enjoyed this video because you are talking about how you evolved your thinking style when playing the game. The whole decision tree method and then combining that with intuition is interesting for me to learn about and how I could apply this mode of thinking to learning other things besides video games. (These other things deal with probability as well) I still want to know more about how you and other professional players are able to maintain your composure when losing a few matches and then make a comeback to win the entire set. Is it the discipline of maintaining your strategy despite the outcome? I want to know more about ‘momentum’ and how that affects your psychology and if you start to forget about the probability of your ‘decision tree’ mode of thinking. Great videos.
These were some great times, I remember seeing you and Ricky at Evo you guys were at the food court at Caesar’s Palace. I used to play with Vangief, Edma and Jason Cole if you remember those guys. Never had the opportunity to play you maybe someday. Love the memory lane content champ.
This is a great video man. Getting stronger is all about being honest with yourself and becoming a student to the better players. Really important message here ❤ oh also the sim vs ryu matchup in SF4 is so fun! I def played for 6 hours vs my neighborhood daigo
I like that you take a difficult character and make it strong. Great breakdown. Had me rolling a few times. I watched the "defend the north" video where Zeus, won a tournament in NY with claw - same premise. Smug did a set of matches with Zeus recently - didn't go well for smug. Could we set up concept matches with the SF4 pros?
amazing video, doing that against a still prime Daigo is some legendary stuff. wish one day you'd review Daigo's SFV matches where he won CPT or his 2020 asia east performance, it was sick.
Oh yes! 🤩 I remember how there was so much damage downscaling on a throw with his Guile that would've normally killed. Everybody (including Daigo) was very surprised and you could feel how the viewers were collectively shocked and freaking out that the match still wasn't finished! Good times! 😅👍
@@RushianRichard that one because he panicked when he stunned with flash kick, since he committed to cancel the flash kick with super, and it missed xD. his confusion was due to him having like 40c fever, he said so himself haha
I love this kind of stories! The best part is it actually all came full circle, the great mentors you had back then, the hard work you had to put in, the legends you use to look up to, now you are a legend yourself and inspiring and tutoring many many others world wide! 🦾
Best SF era by far, so many hype tournaments and amazing players

Vangief was the precursor to snakeeyez. He was definitely an inspiration to me after he beat justin Wong at evo. Hope he's doing well
These flash backs videos are tight man.
It feels like this should be behind a pay wall. Good content.
remember when Fchamp beat Daigo convincingly on northcal regionals tournament. It was nut ! A great moment of hype.
I’m about to check that set out bro
Never seen it lol
Bro you’re a certified legend! Love these videos on your thought process.
I remember this SCR! I knew you were going to win bro! Put in that work! SF4 days were golden!
That 1st to 10 money match in the hotel was unreal! First time daigo looked human. Never saw anyone to that point do that to him before.

@@DarkCavaliero Didn't know about the fever story but I was glued to my screen watching those fights. Thx for the additional info, great times!
@@RushianRichard my guy! Daigo said for some reason he always performed better when he had a fever xD
@@RushianRichard remember when ppl said he used to sleep in anywhere? he said he always had a fever those times.
God damn these stories are great! FChamp the Bard
Keep telling everyone 4 was everything! But 6 giving me vibes. Just waiting for more characters for me

A Shame you were absent @ last year's Evo!

Why does ryan use a skyscraper for a mouse cursor?
make a history vid about your WC3 vids
Fchamp = legend
This should be a 8-2 for sim. At best a 7-3, but closer to the 8 than the 7 imo.
They need to bring you back to tournaments. Unban Fchamp!
Daigo always legend , he is not regular player
Miller Brian Smith Karen White Sarah
Shi 😂 i need a mentor lol aki main diamond is hell
