  • Many people still seem to be surprised to know that Serbia has big brand shops. Yet, some of the best shopping I have done so far has been in Serbia and one of my favourite spots is located about 40km from Belgrade - BIG FASHION OUTLET INDJIJA 🛍️ If you’re looking for a deal on top brands, I highly recommend the drive. The outdoor mall is beautiful, even for an afternoon stroll or lunch.

Whatever money you save there, you spend on fuel to get there and back... so you don't really save a lot of money, but it can be a fun day trip for the family.

We are in Europe. Not in the EU, but still in Europe. Why wouldn't we have brands?

Sadly many people in the west and even in Egypt still have an image of Serbia as it was during the embargo or communist times. I want to share with people how much Serbia has changed and how much it has to offer.

@@gamal-salemSerbia was never in communist times, but in a socialist, Soviet Yugoslavia was neutral during cold war, and Yugoslavia was a rich country that had connections with both west and the east, and in 70s and 80s people were dressed like people in Italy or France and more fashionable then say Germans. During 90s you could still buy fashion stuff, that made many people rich actually. Why would people think that? Especially in Egypt lol

@@macakucizmama831 I imagine they think this because this is how western media often portrayed Serbia. Even if you Google if Serbia or Yugoslavia was communist, you would get your answer there. I lived in Canada for 12 years and people either knew nothing about it or if they did they would ask if it’s still a communist country and/or their memories are tied to wars and now sports (mainly Jokic and Djokovic). I was shocked to hear Egyptians ask me if it was safe to go to Serbia, if people speak English and if there’s much to do there. I just think that many people don’t know how amazing Serbia is and my goal is to show people that much of what they know is simply not true.
I have nothing but love for Serbia and it’s people.

@@gamal-salem well thanks then :) but we don’t care what others think lol
yes, a lot of lies and propaganda was spread about Serbia in the west during 90s. Don’t thrust in such nonsense. Like they now lie that there is no genocide in Gaza for example.
      It is called propaganda obviously.
Serbs and former Yugoslavs in general are war and welcoming people, we are not tied to wars, but wars were made by a politicians and a foreign politics.
Now I am aad that education in the west is so poor. We know a lot about the world , but beside Europe it is not very well known about us.
Ok I know that US education is 0, but I didn’t know dor Egypt, at least Egypt is full of Serbian tourists.
Without Serbs world would be mich different, many many scientists were Serbs, without Nikola Tesla we wouldn’t write here lol and so.
Glad you like it in Serbia.
And many Serbs speak more then English, I learned German and English in school, learned Russian later and so.
Many speak French, Italian etc We are more esuxates then the most.
Sad that people know so little.
