She's the queen of pushing other girls out the way to make room for herself... even now. I hated how she responded to the question about the similarity of On the Floor to Party O'Clock. Like you, I find everything out Jennifer's mouth (song or not) unbearably irritating.
Honestly they started to give her bad songs and under promote her. She’s so talented as a vocalist and dancer. And her first album from start to finish is immaculate. Absolutely phenomenal
@@chancexedward yup. And Jennifer also worked with Rich Harrison who also worked with Amerie and she wanted to take Amerie's go go sound song One Thing which led Amerie to leak the song. It's so funny - I literally bumped Whine Up on Friday remembering how much of a HIT I felt it was and how it sounded like a blueprint to David Guetta and Akon's "Crank It Up". I am happy she is seemingly doing well and still making music.
Inside Out the whole album is a BOP. FYI, she's a super talented vocalist. I was asking that question. I just wondered what happened to her. I thought she left the scene after the summer. I, then, learned that she still released songs after the 9 lives albums.
9 lives was SOOOOOO good. And she seemed down to earth. I saw her perform live and she had so much energy and presence. I wish her career would’ve been handled better.
I'm from the Bronx around the area she lived in i met her when i was 13 i joined the LGBTQ center in the Bronx and she came to meet us fans and talk to about her album "Inside out" . she was incredibly humble and sweet she was so shy and nervous but little did she know we all were lol . Kat Deluna has such a unique beauty and edginess to her. I feel like "Am I dreaming" shouldve blown up (without Akon's verse bc it was not needed at all imo). Her label should've invested more in her potential period. This is also how I feel about Paula Deanda! Her label had crazy expectations for her smh. Her first album did extremely well but they were expecting Jlo/Shakira results. In 2007/08 Artists didn’t sell like in the 90s , early 00’s.
