What a wonderful tribute to one of the original scream queens and Hammer legend. So sad to hear of her passing earlier this year. The Hammer Horror films were part of my childhood. You were so fortunate to have met her. RIP Barbara Shelley.
Thank you Alison. Yes, it was an experience will cherish for always. Am sure wherever Barbara is, she'll be touched by the love fans like you continue to show her x
A bit like Lee and Cushing, she never gave a bad performance; often, she gave a performance that could raise an otherwise poor film. That said, there are a few good ones in that collection - I especially like 'Quatermass and the Pit'
This makes me very sad. I didn't know of her passing, until coming across this video (7/17/2021). She is my all time favorite Hammer actress. I will say a prayer tonight for her. Thank you for a fine tribute to a fine woman.
Fantastic tribute! My favourite is Quatermass and the Pit! She brought a balanced integrity to the film, coupled with her beautiful face... She is the reason I've seen the film so many times. Thank you!
A Brilliantly Done Tribute for a Remarkable Actress. Another poster here said it's the best they'd ever seen. I have to agree. Your Joy in meeting her and spending that time together, put you in a perfect place to create this Wonderful Tribute. A Special Gift for all of Us who Loved Her. Thank You.
..She brought such dramatic authenticity to these "B Hammer pictures". My very favorite film vampiress in, Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966). Excellent edited tribute post.

She was great. Thank you so much for this. Have you read THE HAMMER STORY by Marcus Hearn and Alan Barnes?
I certainly have! A fantastic book, along with his others; Hammer Glamour, The Hammer Vault and The Art of Hammer 🖤
¿the scene with the boy is from prince of darkness?looks like the castle of it
The scene with the boy is from Rasputin the Mad Monk which was shot back to back with Dracula: Prince of Darkness, so the same exterior used in both.
@@QuietThunderFilms thanks
3:01-3:17 I think Ivan and Dr. Boris Zargo are going to do that
