I used to think the stories of his mom were quite over exaggerated just for his act but after watching the programs they did together, Russell Howard & Mum, she's exactly how he describes, she's a bit crazy & hilarious

The fun in Taskmaster is seeing the comedians struggling / being crazy or creative, but there's something just so satisfying about Russel's cool demonstration of physicality and skill with those bails
Russell definitely gets his sense of humor from his mom. She’s funny and the shows they do together are so hilarious. Also, having seen his dad on here once, they’re a good looking family.
l liked the story about the stoned guy arrested for swerving to avoid a nonexistent octopus. Years ago a mate consumed a mix of magic mushrooms, vodka and cannabis. He vanished for a few days and on his return said that he had been avoiding demons and to then had a conversation with a blue light in a language he didn't understand.
21:10 this has to be the most underrated moment in Taskmaster history. He called his shot, made it and walked off with a great oneliner. He didn’t even bother to put down his jacket. This is the reverse potato throw.
And as with Joe Wilkinsons potatoe throw he sligthly overstepped, if I remember correctly;o) Still impressive! (Though I prefer, if the contestans find a clever way around the task phrasing, rather than approaching them head on.) Also when he puts down his jacket... and sweater... impressive!^^
I shouldn't watch this. Last night I watched Russell for 3 hours. 3 hours of non stop laughing gave me a big headache. And yet I don't learn........🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤
I can't get over that they allowed the cricket throw even though he was past the stump when he threw it, but when Joe threw the spud into the hole it was dissallowed.
Somewhere, in an alternate universe, where That 70's Show is a British show, Russell Howard and his mum are down in the basement sitting in the pot circle. :-D

Poor Americans? Of the US variety? Don't get me wrong, I love British comedy. But it's not like we're deprived over here.
I’ve been wondering, do they not do strabismus surgery in the UK? IIRC, there has been another comedian on Mock the Week who has strabismus. If parents seek treatment for their child in childhood, the earlier the better, it can be corrected, and surgery won’t even be necessary. I can almost understand the NHS being too cheap to pay for surgery for a condition that isn’t life threatening or cause chronic pain or disability, but eye patches and special glasses in early childhood are a hell of a lot cheaper.
"Fourty"? What has happened to pride in one's work these days? It seems no one cares anymore, which is very sad. All media outlets have become lazy and just basically illiterate. Gives me great faith in your content (not) when you can't manage to spell such an easy word! So professional!

Yeah but his back foot was behind it and in actual cricket the crease is about a step forward of the stumps
The absolute swagger is probably why they allowed it
