Thanks Lynne, I am so honoured that you like my style! Thanks for writing. Beginning encaustic painting involves quite a few technical points of information and practice, so I would suggest that you consider learning some of the basics before taking on specific applications. What I would suggest, is that you might like to sign up for the year-long course called Painting with Fire. It’s a wonderful online course taught by 26 of the world’s top Encaustic instructors. I teach classes as part of this international program and it includes beginners classes, weekly online classes, and a wonderful Facebook group. It’s very affordable at 289 USD per year. The year has already begun but all of the classes are available online for a lifetime. Here is the link and you might want to look at it. Let me know if you have any further questions. www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?ii=1772049&cl=320457&c=ib&aff=377004 You will love encaustic ! It is, a wonderful medium to work with. Cheers.
Hello long time.. question is the class for $ 249.00. I need to know if it is life time? I won’t be available to watch week by week as I’m going to be traveling so if it is not lifetime then it isn’t for me although I would’ve liked to of taken it but it’s not gonna work out if it’s not lifetime please get back. Thanks.🌻
Thanks I am sure you know who teresa Sterling is being a teacher in encaustic? She now is teaching classes. But it just her. I’d rather learn more from you and others. Plus it’s life time and I am closing up my wax for a while . Going traveling to NC. Can’t take it with too much stuff I have now. I do want to show you that I am getting better.
Thanks, Max. I sometimes paint on them that photo before I wax but usually, I wax first and then pigment the wax using a pan, pastel or pigment sticks. Hope that helps!
Luv the hydrangeas.
Thanks Vikki. I love this flower so much.
This is great! Thanks so much!
