Hi, I follow your UA-cam channel for fashion tips, please can you help with an inquiry Are the adidas hoops 3.0 low classic vintage, good shoes, have a great deal. Thanks
Recently I had to attend a job training. There were 25 females and 3 other males in the room. I was the only one well dressed and needless to say the females could not help but to keep eyeballing me to the point they just stared at me without even noticing it. Long story short, Dress Well My Friends!
I wore a linen button up shirt, navy blue field jacket and light blue chinos. All of that is fairly casual albeit a little bit dressed up. A co-worker had that classic double take head shake and I noticed she couldn't stop smiling the whole time I was talking to her. It's funny because she asked me months ago "I wonder what you dress like outside of work" to which I answered "Well." Now she knows. Dressing well does something, chaps. People who know you compliment you. People who don't, depending on the culture, stare or at least give you a "Sir."
I wear a suit to work a few times every month and even though my coworkers have seen me dress as such for past few years I still appreciate the compliments. “Dress the part to be the part”😎
I’m very old school so this is brilliant!!! This is something this generation can’t grasp or understand. People judge you within 10 seconds of meeting you. Appearance is everything in a professional and business environment. Your credibility and the respect you receive is at stake indeed. 💯💯💯
I’m from The Bronx New York now living in SC. Every time I walk out my door I’m dress like I have a roof over my and educated. I’m 63 years old and look how these guys dress down and all I can do is SMH. Looks like they have no clue how to use an iron or taking your clothes to the dry cleaners. I get much respect from all the ladies young and old. Jeff you are so correct, when you dress correctly the opposite sex will notice you 1st. Great video my Brother ✊🏾👍🏾👊🏾
Your first two reasons alone was enough to have me hitting the "like" button on this topic. Us men should always look to be the best version of ourselves. You just never know who you're going to come across on a day to day.
The new narrative is not to dress well, I am from the old school I always think you should look your best always. They say you will never know a millionaire by the way he dresses, he save that money not by buying clothes and looking good. Again if God have blessed you why not let others know it.
This video is the truth!! When I wear a suit it almost seems like my personality changes. It makes me feel more confident and suave. I went on a date with the woman l was with it the time she could not stop staring at me. She kept saying you look good and smell good.😊😊 There is truly something to everything said in this video!!💯💯💯💯
I so agree with your perspective, and insist on maintaining the standards for myself and my community. If that's old school, or some other stereotype; so be it! ach pointyou've stressed here is stronger than the last! Dressing is just who I am; a mighty salute to you Style OG, please continue to teach my brother because nothing is beyond our reach when you're dressed for the moment!
@The Style O.G: Whew! My brotha you hit this one out the park!!! Very much needed video. We live in a time where people just don't care about how they look anymore. Wearing pajamas outside, with slides or crocs is just lazy. I'm seeing this bummy trend pick up more and more and it's irritating. My parents ALWAYS dressed well and still do. I get static from brothers about the clothes I wear. For example, I like shearling coats in the winter; I was told "it looks like what a drug dealer would wear". Or they will think i spend hundreds or thousands of dollars 💸 💵 😆. This is what comes to our peoples mind when you put yourself together. I love clean shoes and clothes, it's always been a part of me, and I make sure to spread that spirit to my wife and children. Keep up the good work.
Some people prefer to dress more relaxed and comfortable based on their own personal tastes. I enjoy wearing decent jeans (not ragged or baggy), decent plain t-shirts (in warm weather) and comfortable clothes as long as they’re presentable regardless of my age that is not boorish in places where others including women are dressed the same. I do dress more modestly in finer places. There should be a happy medium where men have this option as opposed to anything being forced upon us like a dictatorship which is confining and restricting
My previous job in automotive had me in bad habits because I was bound to get dirty. Now that my most recent job is an electronics factory ~2yrs in I started wearing my good clothes, cologne, and watch. People notice and appreciate.
Excellent video. Dressing well shows confidence.. It's an attractive quality to have.. Your videos have enhanced my style, grooming, and mental abilities.. You make wise content, and I appreciate you, brother. Thanks again, Jeff. Salute.
Hey Jeff .. I'd like to know your opinion on Banana Republic Men's Linen Collection. Was wondering if you could pick a few and do a look book on them. I'm starting to dig the whole BR style recently. Peace!
OG on point as usual. It's so disappointing that The COVID era has changed how men dress. In most cases at my job I'm the only one rocking a tie. I even hate how the NBA and college basketball coaches are continuing the sweatshirt too casual trend into post-covid.
I agree to some extent. However, I don’t like men having to wear ties which are uncomfortable around their neck while women doing similar jobs can wear pants and have more freedom.
Jeff @The Style O.G. I dress well everyday not because I have to (seems that today nobody really has to), but because I want to according to many of the reasons you stated in this video. However, it seems that dressing well doesn't make any difference in my life. In my opinion, we both know why.

Always..and don't just look good for others..have some respect for yourself. Travel, especially flying is a place unfortunately many no longer care about how they look. No need to wear a suit for air travel but at least look and yes, smell decent. Didn't know you were from Philly.. salute
@@TheStyleOGHowever, I believe adults are still entitled to wear decent jeans, mostly plain t-shirts (in warm weather) and other comfortable clothes based on their own personal tastes in places where others including women are dressed similar regardless of age. I agree about certain attire being boorish that shouldn’t be worn. I do dress more modestly in finer settings. There needs to be a happy medium as opposed to any form of dictatorship which would be constrained and restrictive
O.G., I totally agree with you. Men should dress well. It also makes you feel good about yourself. I’m 70 years old and don’t even look like my age. I always dress in style with my Fedora Hat and I get many compliments from majority of the women’s and some propositions. Guys these days only wear sweat pants. I hate it. No one cares about their outlooks these days. I hate to be a mediocre. I increase my shoes budget to $300 to master my fashion.
Nowadays, a man needs to dress more for themselves as opposed to others and setting positive impressions. In the UK, people don't really care if you dress well if it doesn't concern them or their interests. I love dressing up well, however I've noticed only in the professional environment and when I'm abroad do people care more as British menswear has high expectations. @ Peter Turay Jnr. In a near whole page photograph in a Melbourne Australia newspaper, Prince Harry was wearing an immaculate navy blue suit, with a tie. The most noticeable feature in the photo waa a shine on his black dress shoes that you could "See your face in". In his recent book "Spare", it is obvious that he believes he is capable of doing more than being a Back-up for King Charles. Just one look at the photo shows that while he dresses to represent the British Royal Family, his manner of dress and self confident approach, shows that he would be able to succeed in his own right in a Forune 500 Corporation. A big judgement from a single photo of a young man dressed in a consevative plain suit. But "A picture is worth 1,000 words", and the young Prince Harry has style by the bucket load. Phil.
Apparently, this is Not allowed here in Canada. It’s not safe to dress nicely in big cities because there’s too much neighborhoods full of poverty and violent crime and these people could be targeted and robbed. In addition, multiculturalism has increased in Canada with white Caucasian people becoming a smaller percentage because of continued mass immigration
Salute O.G. I love the video. I was wondering if you have any tips for professional menswear. The best suits or suit material to wear during the summer?
Two weeks ago I had a 5 hour layover at Chicago O"Hare. I walked through quite a few terminals to get my Fitbit steps in for the day, and kill some time. I also sat in a coffee shop/restaurant for about an hour and observed. Other than pilots, I saw two --- that's TWO nicely dressed men in that entire airport. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta faired a little better....I think, but so many guys clearly don't care. The women dressed better on average than the guys.
Jeff u're right it's more to life than dressing in Dickies everyday for work or avoiding them skinny jeans these young cats wearing & try to sag in. I ain't know shyt about chino pants until u put me on game. To be honest my birthday is around the corner & I need to dress more of my age & not thuggish every day. Women like to see diversity in a man's wear like fellas wanna see women with real hair in diverse style vise versa.
I enjoy dressing my age ( like an adult) it also comes with benefits and compliments as well. Plus these days it is very easy to stand out. Women notice you for sure. But people in general notice.
Brothers age 15-50 all dress the same. Sweats , fitted hat, Graphic T, Crocs or boots. Some ladies even dress that way. If it wasn't for the purse I couldn't tell who is who. Look good feel good. C Mon brothers get your grown man on......Jeff OG you da man
My compliments exactly. I understand people need to dress appropriately for their job and in finer places. However, I believe people can dress casual how they want for more casual settings and recreational places

A big judgement from a single photo of a young man dressed in a consevative plain suit. But "A picture is worth 1,000 words", and the young Prince Harry has style by the bucket load. Phil.
Well said brother Jeff well said..SALUTE!!!!!!
Love that white pocket square with the white shirt
A well dressed man had better carry a pistol everyday also!!!!
The best suits or suit material to wear during the summer?
in general fresco.
I see that as well
The way feminism is killing America men are done with looking nice for these fee mails

But people in general notice.

anybody who judges a book by its cover is an amateur.
My compliments exactly. I understand people need to dress appropriately for their job and in finer places. However, I believe people can dress casual how they want for more casual settings and recreational places
