yes please, send one over lol jk i like sets like this as you got all the basic colors to mix and make all the custom colors you will ever need AND you get some mini's!
They have matching colours within the Fanatic range. This is a set for RPG players who also want miniatures and are getting into painting. The matching colours allows you to replace the paint once you run out.
I would buy this to get the minis and add the paints to my shelf, but it drives me nuts that these paints have different names/labels even though it's still fanatic paint.
In comparison, the original Gamemaster Character Starter set is 20 paints (in 12ml bottles, probably of the original Warpaints line), and the new Gamemaster Adventure Starter set is 15 paints (in 18ml bottles). The new set includes a flat drybrush along with the regular starter brush (guessing it's a #2 size), but with the same 5 figures. I'll consider picking up some for my shop, but I'll still probably order the Character Starter until all of the warehouses run out. It's the variety of paints; new painters don't think about how to mix paints to get the shades and tones they want.
Fanatics paints are $4.25 each directly from Army Painter, and this kit makes them $3.33 each (slightly cheaper than the Fanatics Complete set at $3.51 each), plus the brushes and figures. Not actually a bad deal if this is your first foray into the hobby. If it were in a hard case like the Reaper LTP kits, where everything could be stowed away, it would be a steal.
That pigeon - I'm dying! 😂
Just need this in a speed paint version, please! 🙏
just pick up the speedpaint 2.0 starter set. It may not have an included mini but has all the paints needed to start.
Really cool. I look forward to try it out.

This seems like a really great idea, ill have to check it out.
What is the difference between these paints and the Fanatic range?
Same colour with different name and wrapping?

2E PHB, nice shout out to us old school gamers.
I pre ordered mine and I haven't painted for a very long time, I cant wait and im aching to get back into painting
Looks great! Are the colors in this set unique or are they the normal Fanatic colors just renamed? Thanks
They all have a matching Warpaints Fanatic colour :)

They all have the Warpaints Fanatic name printed on the side of the bottle too, so you can easily tell what the matching colour is :)
Whens the free shipping again? 😅
And I just got this precise box set last Christmas… and now is out with “Fanatic” formula… let me go cry to the corner
I swear, when I paint, my miniatures take on a life of their own-it's like they gain a bonus to capturing the essence of fantasy ;)

Dammit, Adam. I'm never gonna have money at this rate :P
Awesome!!!
First comment lol can't wait to get my hands on this and get back into miniature painting
Price point should be closer to $35. The current asking price of $49 is too high.

It's not a bad deal at all. Truly. The math adds up.
These are full size paints. Were they the mini sizes like previous kits, yea $35 would've been more apt.
