Good times, brother. Can remember getting out of football practice, everyone hitting the local McDicks or convenience store and rolling into someone’s house for the first hour of Nitro, then switching to Raw.

I mean, dude is one of the toughest men who ever lived, but he's spot on about the forehead being a safer place to get hit than the top or back of the head. I'm loving his recent interviews because I'm realising just how smart this guy is too
Wish this guy had a longer wwe career. He was the toughest one there. Or top 3 easily. Ahead of Brock Lesnar. Would have loved to seen him against Batista or Brock or a triple threat. Or even a fatal four way by getting Goldberg in the mix
@@sammykent5752Angle, Benoit, Malenko, Eddie, Saturn, Booker, Brock….2-3 years and Shamrock would have had no shortage of guys he could blow the roof off with.
Anyone who has watched the original Gladiator movie with Cuba Gooding and James Marshall knew that the forehead was the hardest part of the skull. KenShamrock is a real one. Always thought he should have won the world title at some point. He was close when he won KOTR in 98'. Just never made it over the top. Wrong place and wrong time.
I don't think I've ever seen a wrestler to take a full on chair shot to the head without trying to protect himself like ken shamrock, it was raw or smackdown and shamrock was on his knees begging the rock to hit him and smack straight in the face, the rock didn't want to do that chair shot but shamrock convinced him to go for it and boy did he go for it
@@macdaddymario He also mentions it all the time, and The Rock. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, because clearly he had great interactions with Rock since day one, and it seems to be a highlight of his career, but it sucks that he didn't stay another year so we could have stories with him, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, or they should ask him about the ppv match he had with undertaker while he was The King of the Ring
I always wondered how he took that shot. Makes sense now with the tucking the chin and forehead. That being said F THAT!😂 Shamrock was a really good pro wrestler but a true fighter at heart so it’s understandable why he went back to the UFC.
@@zlinedavidThankfully, he finally realized that he's down to a glass jaw like Chuck Liddell and stopped fighting. For a while it looked like he was going the Evander Holyfield route.

"I enjoyed the chair shoot" - Ken Shamrock
If you know about Ken's life, he pretty much enjoy rough stuff.

Ken Shamrock is one of the craziest guys in wrestling lol.
Crazy and crazy-tough. Dude is a career fighter with 25 years on me and I ain’t messing with him even today. 😂
@@zlinedavid I think Ken might destroy Royce Gracie today (btw, I'm more of a Royce fan than a Shamrock fan).

He comes from Japanese shoot fighting. Which was scripted but they really would hit each other. So I see why WWE was light work to Ken.

Shamrock is legit and I loved his run.
he's actually right. forehead for sure safest part of the head to take a chair shot
Taking chairshots: Shamrock and Mankind. Feel the difference.
This mf built different 😅
Hahahaha I think the term built different has never been so properly applied!
I can't believe he is not in the WWE Hall of Fame.
That’s an error that needs to be corrected, and easily can be. Get on this one, Hunter.
he just signed a legends deal so there’s a good chance he’ll be in the hall of fame next year
Ken is a fighter. Just in it for the fight. Dude would fight death itself
Rock having flashbacks of shots to Mankind,
Say less Ken, have a nice day! 😁 🧦 🤔🪑 😈😅
Ken shamrock deserved to be a wwf world champion he had everything needed
Top 3 most vicious single chair shot IMHO…
1) Rock/Shamrock
2) Jeff Hardy/Brock Lesnar
3) Stevie Richard/Bradshaw
Honorable mentions
Brock/Zach
Undertaker/Kanyon
Undertaker/Shawn Michaels
Christian/Chris Jericho

Scratch that. Ken Shamrock Vs Kurt Angle. If he'd only been there for just a few months longer.

He's not wrong. Ask a thai fighter about the forehead lol
There's another one where the chair kind of bounces off Shamrock's head, i forget who he's got in the ankle lock
The rock. Was for the ic title

That chair shot was brutal remember that
There is another one rock gives him from behind as he has someone in the ankle lock. It’s overlooked and better than this one they talk about !!!
I still remember Shamrock wearing sweatpants in the ring while wrestling d-lo brown. Then the people's champ unleash the chairshot to the face

Great video💥🔥
He sure fooled me, watching him stumble around with blood pouring from his eyebrow. Incredible acting
He loves telling this story

You have to be a little crazy to be a real fighter, and ken proves it
Well he's right though. Look what happen to Benoit because he wants to get hit at the back of the head.
Many injuries are real 😳
Ken : MF
Mankind : Madman

This would be a cool story if I didn’t hear it from the same people 3 times now
