Killer. When i got mine , i focused on really complex patches. But for the last few months ive been working on simple patches and get similar results like yours. One thing i never use is the joystick recording. I just dont think about it. Any luck with that?
I use the joystick recording on panning sometimes. Send the same sound to both outputs and send a joystick axis to one output but also to the inverter and then from input 2 to the other output vca. Then you can record an 8 second joystick movement and depending what else you have going on you will get seemingly random panning of the sound. I also just use it as an lfo recording a smooth loop and then using it to free up VCO 3 for pitched parts or other things.
@@Bata9999 nice. I hope in the Syntrx MKIII there is some improvements in that area. I have sent a video to Erica Synths with a wishlist for a MKIII. one of the wishes was that the joystick could record a choppy on/off kind of thing, almost like a sequenced recording. I basically told them to put the Perkons and Syntrx as a combined unit ( I have the Perkons also) and make a 20 or even 32 x 32 matrix for more patching, as well as add sampling like on the Bullfrog, but more permanent and have memory storage. I can see the super MKIII in my head. I would sell half my synths to get that. They sent a response , something like "thanks for the video " hahah. but you have some really good patch philosophy going on.
Thinking about getting one of these fr, they sound so good!
If you can afford the Syntrx II it's a great instrument. If it's too expensive I would recommend a small eurorack system with joystick.
I have about 15 synths , and this is the one i spend 90 % of my time on.
What a great patch! Cheers!;-)!
Thanks! This is one of my favourites that I've done so far. It gets kind of ruined at the end though. I might reattempt this one in the future.
@@Bata9999 There's never ruined as shaping is all part of it! ;-)! I'm in studio working on shaping a few ideas! ;-)!
