the fl9's, f7's, gp38's and gp7 have all been retired. the gp40-2h's are still in service but split time with amtrak p40's. the mta branches all use the newer brookville bl20-gh. occasionally a genesis though, especially on the danbury branch

Now that you mention it, I just saw a New Haven Genesis by Kent Road in Wilton the other day.

That is a sharp-looking consist on Shore Line East. But where are the NH locos? Lately, I'm only seeing Amtrak or MTA locos on SLE and the Branches.
