I love this video. Here is a fun fact for you: Deming (which is my mother's maiden name) was named after Mary Ann Deming Crocker, a very distant relative of mine. Her husband was Charles Crocker who was the construction supervisor and one of the "big four" of the Central Pacific railroad when they built the First Transcontinental Railroad. Deming, New Mexico is where the "silver spike" was hammered in. That was the second transcontinental railroad. I thought I'd share that with you.
thanks for sharing I love the history of railroading in America, been through Demming many times on our way to Nogales Az. it's so far from Victoria Texas but I feel at home in Demming NM.
Great Video makes me miss my parents watching it they live in Silver City NM and this would be the closest station to them. I have been there to this station nothing there at all.
Wow, I sent that comment a while ago, thanks for responding! The funny thing is I'm from New Jersey, and my whole family is from New Jersey. The Deming family landed in Connecticut about 5 years after the Mayflower did. It's funny that the town named "Deming" is in the middle of the desert. It would take a lot of getting used to if I were going to feel at home there! haha

nice catch, small station

Great horn on that P42. Deming must be a very short stop when you have only 2 passengers boarding.
I can tell you since I work at the gas station it's been growing like to 15 once
2013 miles from my place in Niles, IL
N M I live in demoing
I worked at that gas station for years and years

Did the passengers not show up?
on one trip through Demming on the train a unruly passenger was thrown off the train there.
twice I've seen unruly passengers get put off of the train in New Mexico.
Lol I remember stopping here
@IIIIIRepoIIIII I will! Thanks for the sub and watching my video!
@SuperStarRendon yeah one of the worst "amshacks" that I've seen
