Everyone of those are Gorgeous!!!
Nice Finds!! 🍀🌿🍀
Thanks so much!
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: The seam agates y'all find are so beautiful. Especially those flame agates!!! Y'all's boys are so sweet. Reminds me of times with my kids... exploring and learning together!
Beauty comes in all ways, love your work! Nature offers us marvelous things!❤
Love seeing your little people in all the videos! So cool that you are teaching them about your interests and they obviously love hounding as much as you do! That's some good Dad-ing right there!! :)
You are so kind!
The colours in the last one was absolutely superb. The detail was such I’m sure I would stare at it for ages. Great rewards for all your hounding. I thinks the 2nd last one was really interesting as a picture stone I could sea the fish swimming around the aquatic grasses and the water being churned up with variable visibility. Great stuff please keep sharing your finds and your cutting and polishing results
Thanks so much! 😊
All so pretty but the last one is great. Thank you
Thank you!
Wow, just gorgeous pieces here. Great work cutting. Love the gold plume and flame agates, learning new types of agates. Super cool, thanks for sharing this! You guys rock!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing!! I love that you do this with your child. I love hearing your son talking in the background! I’m a grandma and I’m teaching my grandchildren all that I know we have fun 👍
I mean your children
Thank you so much!
So nice that your son is becoming a young rockhound too!
Yes all three of them are! Thanks for watching!
I think Travis likes the ‘what’s inside ‘ cutting days as much as I do!!!!!! Those last two were fantastic!!!
He loves it for sure!!! Thanks for watching!
The old 5 islands gold moss is my favorite. They're all beautiful!
Yes. We were very lucky to find this piece!
Travis is the best helper! Big thumbs up to Travis!
👍
I can see why you choose that red flame as your favorite. That is a beauty.
Beautiful beautiful rocks!
Thank you! Cheers!
Wowzers!
Holy smokes! They're just incredible. Thank you for sharing them with us!
Thank you!!
The last one is Gorgeous 💞.
Thanks
Those flame agates were awesome
🙏
Outstanding
🙏
Those were some beautiful flames!!! I wish I could show you my Marfa flame from Texas
You can send pics to rockhoundinglife@gmail.com
The last one could be described as "Devil's Playground" if ya ask me, lol😆
Lots of pretty rocks.
They were all beautiful. But my favorite one was the last one you showed, gorgeous!
Yes that one was the prize of the day
Those are all awesome
Thanks!
Breathtaking slabs thanks for sharing 🤩
Thanks for watching!
Those all turned out nice. My favorite was the first agate one and the last flame agate. Love how Travis was popping in throughout the video reminding us all to SMASH that thumbs up 👍 button 😜. Good video I enjoyed
Ha!! You are the first to comment/notice he was doing that. I didn't see it until editing. What a ham!
@@RockhoundingLife that was the first thing I noticed and loved it 😂. It was an awesome reminder 👍🤙🤘
I absolutely love moss, plume, all those type agates. Indonesian Moss Agate is my fav. Some of what you have resembles it! I have seen some really beautifully polished stones/cabs, made out of the stuff and the "landscape" type never cease to amaze me. You have some beauty there!
Awesome! Thank you! This is one of our best finds ever. it's very rare to find the five Islands moss anymore and to find a piece this big is super rare. Thanks for watching!
Oh my word that red flame...
🔥🤤🔥
I know right!! It sucks that it's fractured due to the river but I was able to cut some more slabs that have less fracturing.
Those are some more gorgeous rocks!! Thanks for the video and for your great helper!
I couldn't have done it without him!!
* On your favorite, where the fracture is, I would cut that off & slab it & make Cabs for Jewelry... It really is wearable.. ~ The voice of your child learning & Loving Rocks took my breath away.. Bless you for imparting that love...
This rock is my son Nolan's prized possession. He loves it as is. It's extremely rare to find this material anymore, especially one this large. I don;t think we can bring ourselves to alter it. Thanks for watching!!
Very beautiful material. Hope you get the recognition you deserve! Good job!
Thanks for those kind words! Thanks for supporting our channel!
Hola Amigo!!! Excelente vídeo!!! Aprendemos mucho con usted, muy bien explicado!!! El pequeñín muy dulce!!! Un fuerte abrazo desde Valencia España!!!
Thank you!!
Those r some beautiful agates xx
Thanks!!!
I really enjoy seam agates, I'm extremely envious...
We are very fortunate to live where we live!
@@RockhoundingLife I would agree I live in the United states and find some seam agates, but they are tiny bits..mostly I find granites, quartz, jasper, sandstone and apparently a greenish basalt...
Waw red clean is nice
I agree the last two were the best.
Love those sea maggots. Quite tasty. :)
Sea maggots! Lol
New subscriber✌💙 I love watching all your videos & glad to see kids are still enjoying nature & finding cool rocks, I'm a 23 yr old Rockhound from Washington, Btw those last two are INSANEE..!! Great finds
Awesome! Thanks for subscribing! I hope they keep enjoying it as they get older as I did.
The 4th one is my absolute favorite.
It was hard to pick a fav out of this bunch!!
@@RockhoundingLife That's very understandable. you have a lot of very nice agates where you live
Nice!!
🙏🤙
I hit the bel an 👍🏼to
Amazing beauty! Do you sell any pieces? Big fan of your channel, mineral lover from Paris, France. All my best regards! Sincerely, Razvan Tasca 🤩👍🌟
Great helper Jason,if yo7 cut that red flame in the opp directions with the fractures it should come out real nice
I thought about trying that but i'm nervous to lol
Do you think you will get a slab saw, if you do make sure it has a rock vise. The vise lets you make smooth cuts and even slabs.
We have a 10" slab saw with a vise.
your no.1 is also my no.1, of course how can you just pick one gem out of all them gems? have you guys checked into what minerals make the diffrent colors?,,, you guys found / hit the jack pot when you found them beautiful gems!!
There is a lot of iron and copper in our area. The red and yellow are from iron impurities and sometimes you'll see some greenish color which is from the copper. The yellow impurity is probably a mineral called limonite. And the greenish mineral is likely malachite or some other copper oxide.
Thanks for watching!
@@RockhoundingLife aint it funny how in two places the same minerals appear as two diffrent ways? where i am we have those minerals but they dont form the agates
What a beautiful boy, very intelligent and educated, I want one so he accompanied me to look for minerals
💯🙏
Awesome agates guys. Was the Old 5 islands Gold plume a nodule or seam?
Thanks! It is a seam.
woot woot
🙌🙌
What kind of saw are you using?
It's a Rigid 7" tile saw with a diamond blade rated for marble and granite.
@@RockhoundingLife are you still using that other tile saw?
I've bought a tile saw similar to the other one you have. It's still in the box, but I'm curious if I should go for one like your 7" instead.
Thanks for taking your time to answer. Love your videos
@@andremorning7427 i still use my Ryobi table top saw for small stones and trimming.
11:21 this almost looks like it contains the text from the One Ring!
It totally does!!
@@RockhoundingLife OH MY GOSH... does this mean Mount Doom is in Canada?

Why do you wear a mask?
To prevent silica dust from getting into my lungs. You don;t want silica dust in your lungs.
But doesn't the coolant keeps the dust from forming a cloud?
@@theyellowvanadventures9487 It should prevent most of the dust from getting airborne but it won't stop all of it. I don;t want any in my lungs.
@@RockhoundingLife allright well i'll keep working without one. I do need ear protection with my machine though. Lol.
@@theyellowvanadventures9487 If you are using a flat lap and you don;t wear a mask you can stand so that the wheel is rotating away from you. That way any dust not caught by the water will hopefully move away from you.
