I like the minimal pattern and light transmission of Montana agates, nice video. The piece at 4:13, especially the one on the left, is incredible. It definitely needs to be polished.
@@michaelc6817 I can get a pretty decent polish with it, but I think a cab king style polisher would do better, at least easier, but then again I haven’t used it a whole lot yet either, still learning, thanks for watching!
You picked the right stone to polish. I saw the skull and apocalyptic background right away, was a little disappointed that the scene turned into the brighter two mountains with a stream in the foreground, but still a nice scene nonetheless and rock nonetheless.
Hooray. I also have a brand new 8 in lap, I went with the slant model, and my 10 inch saw is on the way. I have probably been watching the same videos. Did you decide to get the saw with or without the vise? What made you decide? Did you do anything to your blade before you started using it? Thanks. Really enjoy your videos. Great moss agates!
@@laurie-anncrawford9071 Your gonna have a lot of fun! I didn't have to do anything to the blade, it was good to go right away. As for the vise, I did get it so I could try it, in my opinion it did not work well at all. I'm sure it has it's place, but for me, I didn't like it so I removed it. I had trouble lining it up just right and even more trouble keeping rocks clamped in it, they kept on working their way out of it.
There's videos on here. Just about polishing agets period they say one of the best ways to get a fast Polish is a worn out 220 grit. Sandpaper, there are some videos that lapidary Dave is interviewing guys. At some gem shows and they say that is the secret. I love that second rock. It's awesome, good luck.
Number 2 even has the picture of a puppy! Can’t beat that! I envy you your new toys and your rock hunting ground.
Thank you for watching!
The last one did it for me. :o)
Amazing Agate!
Wonderful scenic faces!
They are, thanks for watching!
The second one is the best rock
Those were beautiful! 🎉
OMG,that last agate looked like water rushing between two mountain chains!!
It does! Thanks for watching!

I agree!
Chose the same half rock you did. Beautiful scene of a new planet!😊
It is, thanks for watching!
The one with the bands could have iris if you take a thin slice and polish it, you may ravel some iris colors.
Ill have to do that, would be really neat!
Wow!!!
@ 12:49...the most stunning rock face I've seen in a long time 🔥🥰👏
It will always be one of my favorites, thanks for watching!

Nice ones, especially the second one you cut!! Have you figured out how to get the polish you like from that All-U-Need Flat Lap?

Firat rock looks like a skeleton laying at a cave entrance. Hahaha 😂 I love it
Thanks for watching!
