I have Blender installed. But I struggle with it because I am so used to using C4D. I feel like there are only so many hours in the day, week, month, etc, and so many hours left in my life that to spend them learning an entirely new3 package is painful (even if it's better). I feel like I could be learning new skills within c4d to add to those I already have. As good as I have gotten with C4D, I would prefer Blender if I was starting from scratch.

C4Ds full integration in AE is hands down my favorite feature as a daily grinder in motion graphics. That and mograph is the boots on the ground pragmatism that isn't comparable.
I use AE a lot and that is truly one major strength of C4D over Blender. It will be interesting to see what the future brings. The great thing is that since Blender is free, it’s easy to use both (that is if you already have C4D)
Yup Cineware is amazing. Makes it really easy to do advanced compositing. In a Perfect world i would use Nuke or Clarisse iFX but I can’t justify the cost just yet.

You people have too much time on your hands. At the end of the day, paid addons or not, Cinema4D’s quality is better. Will Blender improve in the future? Most likely. But he’s doing nothing but stating facts. If someone comes to your for work, they’re not going to care that you made an entire subpar project in one program, they’ll look for quality. Stop attacking this man and grow up. That’s like saying a render isn’t good because it needed OctaneRender to look that good and Octane costs so much. Who cares? It’s about quality at the end of the day.
The major problem I have with ANY open source software, be it an OS (Linux) or 3D Graphics (Blender), is if something goes wrong with the software, there is no direct support from the developer and the only solution is to "wait until the next version).
There is also mantaflow, a fluid simulation tool comparable with real flow, that does smoke, fire and narrow band fluid simulation, already on testing on a separate build of blender, and is expected to join the main program on version 2.81, in a couple of months.
I am still in Cinema and I have just started to know Blender, I have been keeping track of it for a decade and I think this is the time to start the transition, Cinema is becoming more expensive every day and still requires many accessory purchases, I suppose it took me one Two years later, I will completely switch to Blender but it is my chosen destination, I do not think that I will completely stop Cinema 4D, but I do think that it will stop being my main tool, and although Blender should improve in some ways, the truth is that it is beginning to Enroll in the industry little by little and Blendermania can only improve.
C4d user won't hate this video. We are looking into alternatives where c4d is weak at. Maya is awesome, Max is inspirational. I say blender is the new kid on the block. He learns fast and adapt fast and is friendly and helps freely where the other big bros on the block chage a buck or two. The annoying thing is the hotkey are so different and I know there is the switch to c4d kinda hotkeys but when you follow along with tutorials that does not help. I wish blender was better at following industrial standard w, e , r , t and alt keys and middlemouse button from the start.
@2:12 Blender's video editor is not just used for basic editing as you said. As for the smoke simulation, I believe mantaflow in blender is coming to change all that.

Libertim Produções ok great. Still I state that at the time of this review it was not included. Blender (other 3d software as well of course) has always had a strong “modding” community. Still if we look at products from starter pov it think it’s important to base it on what is included as default. Many users that want to start out with 3D is not so technical. I think this I the area Blender now is advancing most. The UX is more standard and simpler. Without sacrificing to much of speed out workflow. And with the extra focus and funding I think Blender will be a very well balanced product both on features and UX (and I mean even without a lot of extra add Ona so just deafault Blender) un say 3 years. I just started using it. Have given some tries over the years but it has to much UX differences from other products so I did not feel giving it that time. Now with 2.8 i directly got in with little effort. I hope to be able to contribute with UX feedback / reports and maybe even some code to push. Like there is still many small legacy details (say how cursor states is handled is very inconsistent) maybe those small things is not super important but I always feel the devil is in the detail. And with more UX designers contributing to the product the more coherent and easy to learn and quick to use product we will have. :)
Blender has come a long way. As a long time 3ds max user I'm amazed of the stuff available in Blender 2.8 still missing in expensive software like 3ds. Multi object modeling, multi object unwrapping, vertex parenting, bendy bones, sculpt, grease pencil, volumetrics, best ipr in any 3d software, best and most custumizable UI I've used, nondestructive bolean - array and chamfer modifiers, best node editor I've tried, great rigging tools too and let's not forget EVEE. I've already used evee in numerous tv commercials. No more rendertimes, a real game changer. And Octane is free for Blender. Only place Blender is lacking is particles & vfx.
yes exactly no one outside of the blender community has any idea including industry pros who when they see are shocked at how much is in ther.. particle systems vfx will improve as well as everything nodes, the new particle system is coming along with manterflow 2.81or2.82 but its here... animation 2020 will resolve as much for rigging animation etc as has been done by pablo on the sculpting and painting side of things.
Some other unique Blender features? * Dynamic Paint * The modifier system * Integrated Python DOM scriptability, right through the whole app architecture * The driver system * “Animated everything”, where you can alter parameters for materials, modifiers, constraints etc right through the timeline Just a few off the top of my head...
I started with Cinema 4D in 2013. After two or three years, I switched to Maya, because it was (and still is) kind of the industry standard. As I started using Octane for rendering, I switched back to C4D, because the integration of Octane was that much better. Last year, I also learned some Blender. I realized just HOW good it was. Nowadays I use Blender for pretty much everything except a few minor things that still work better in C4D. This program has really come a long, long way.
it depend on what you work ? you don't mention in your video! for me best chose c4d the mograph and compositing with after effects no other application have it ,
Let's be honest. It's just a matter of time before something like Tyflow is either integrated in Blender or as a plugin. A complete vfx tool with cycles and real time EVEE will be hard to beat. CD4, Maya, 3ds max etc will be in a very tough position.
Thanks for video, what is better in aspect of polygonal modeling - blender or cinema? Спасибо за видео, а что лучше в плане полигонального моделинга - блендер или синема?
4:04 I’ve heard people say you should call Cycles “path-traced” rather than “ray-traced”. But I don’t see why we need different terms just for different stages in evolution of the same basic technology.
Grease Pencil is a Beast for 2D animation. I've some cool stuff done with it by Independent artists on Twitter, even when it was in Alpha. There's a French animated movie called "I Lost my Body" in Cannes now that was made entirely in Blender's Grease Pencil! How insane is that!
@@ibrahimt.1730 And the new LuxCore and YafaRay and AppleSeed. Those are all awesome render engines in their own ways. But I think Cycles is still the best for most use cases, being so fast and well integrated.
@@talkysassis Can you elaborate, what features does Octane do better than Cycles these days? I've tried Octane in the past but didn't really find anything specific that stood out.
A little off-topic, but something that I can see blender eventually adding is AutoCAD (Engineering-based) software at some stage as well as improving its video editor. If we could build using sketches for use in manufacturing machinery and such, and simulate the systems with fluid dynamics or active-animation dynamics, that would be amazing - yet I can see it happening (Obviously in the long term). Imagine I was designing hydraulic systems and could simulate actual material properties, fluid and pressure with active animation rather than static colouring (similar to fusion360). Then render and put it in a product pitch in the same software. I can see blender becoming the leader across several computerised animation/development/design fields.
Also Blender has quite good texture painting mode so you dont have to use Substance Painter or other external software for texturing and painting on your models
you can also use cel-shading etc in your 3D in blender, blender is also getting an upgrade to its fluid etc with flip fluids, you can buy another flipfluids addon which are just a couple of things.
The question is not which is the best, but which one you identify with. I've tried several and blender is where I can take a job from start to finish without any major problems.
What you should have talked about at reason #1 is the fact that a 3D open-source piece of software usually seen as a hobbyist tool is even comparable to this massive industry-standard giant. Blender sure has come a long way
Thanks vor the video. Since C4Ds subscription model i am not willing to pay monthly PLUS being trapped using C4D only while paying. Considering to switch... meanwhile i use R21 as long as possible.
I had over 4000 finished commercial work done in C4D. so its worth it to pay 3k for a software. Still tryna to model a chair in Blender on and off. hik hik hik XD
ok so an expert in C4D but cant model a chair in Blender? with all the free tutorials out there? sounds like you're resistant to change or have no time? even a simple chair in Blender is like possible within a few seconds to a few minutes depending on your skill ability. I have seen a lot of so-called industry Pro's try to just use Blender as they would Maya, and other packages, did none of you experiment or use tutorials or other resources to work in those clunky and confusing applications? or are you just resistant to Blender and learning it?
I used Cinema4D, 3ds Max, Maya and I'm using Blender recently. Cinema 4D is a great program, There are still some features in the blender that the basic parts are not implemented. However. The best thing about Blender is that it is the fastest growing software, and users around the world are actively involved in developing Blender and revolutionizing the open licensing program. And now Blender is compared to Max, Maya, Cinema4D, Houdini and others. The only open license program is Blender. The more you use it, the more you expect it, and the more you use it, the more affection you have. Personally, Blender is the only such program.
Placing and scaling Materials & shaders on objects in blender and unreal sucks. C4D is so intuitive here with a gysmo in texture mode just scale and rotate like you want for simple structures. And the new UV Editor in C4D is just superb.
Half of the reasons you picked kinda irrelevant. I’d say my top 5 would be 5: incredibly robust sculpting tools 4: finished modeling and uv tools 3: grease pencil 2: render engines that have powerful industry standard shaders and work with both major vendors even if you mix them 1: very powerful native particle system 0: it’s free ps: been using both for over decade in studios and for personal projects and ended up ditching C4D completely in favor of blender+ Houdini. Checking what’s new in c4d every year and keep being disappointed. Oh also Linux support is a huge +
I like both of your videos on this topic. As a Blender user, I held my tongue when you said you'll make this video after the first one. I could not complain about your 5 points in "Why Cinema 4D is better than Blender". I love Cinema 4D as well, and you're not wrong. This video however, is very flattering for Blender and Blender users. You're correct with all your points here as well.
You use the application that gets the job done. If Mac Paint gets your job done than that is the best app for that job. I never understood why people argue over this stuff.
I think that the ruling in this case needs some time, with the opportunity for all companies to show their full energy and desire to serve the product and the customer, especially after Blender appeared free and open source.
Very good camera track and sculpid tools with dinatopo, Better UVW tools, paint PBR on a mesh, Workbench and the multiple way of seen the shade in viewport and render It right away, create and animate trees easily, archipack to create archviz procedurally, drag and drop images as planes, multiple objects editing, copy and paste between blender files, alt B to hide and show masked in your viewport... And so on
I dont know why hobbyists and single PC users have it in their heads that they could possibly achieve production level smoke or explosion simulations that they see in blockbuster movies. The differences in processing and memory availability between say weta or ILMs studios and your home PC are orders of magnitude. So yea maybe you can achieve production level smoke simulation on your PC if you are happy with a rendering wait time of about a year.
Nowadays is totally possible archive in 1 computer not so expensive the same results than any major studio. Sure, you will not have a renderfarm, but overnight you can get a serious explosion going on.

If you are a graphic designer or motion graphics designer, C4D is for you, on the other hand I hate C4D for 3D modeling. You just need to know first your needs before you choose the software.
C4D has always been a good, and easy modeler...I always found it fun, except the boolean system...where the object is hidden instead of being a true subtracted booleaned object for example.

You should have focussed on the modelling toolset in Blender. A lot of Cinema users are looking at Blender for modelling as Cinema's toolset hasn't had advancement since the polygon pen. And don't get us started on Cinema's UV tools…
@Spenser Dickerson I use Rizom too, but you still have to create a UV map in cinema first, then export to Rizom, make a map, import to Cinema etc etc. And Rizom is based on the Max / Maya tools. Cinema is a graphic designers 3D application, so a modelling toolset is gonna come second to a feature that allows unlimited creativity - Fields / volume modelling - that's ok. Just that after every iteration, users are crying out for better fundamental tool overhauls and they just don't get better, so naturally the users will start to think 'ok, no updates to the UV editor, I'm gonna have to look elsewhere. Same for modelling' and then tools like Blender are more valued, and they grow…
Cinema4d all the way. Add corona render and you have best archiviz app 3ds is unstable app and you can have serious issues with working file if it crashes... avoid that app
One best case that no one has ever included it that it can utilize OpenColor IO features using ACES configurations. Haven't rendered something out of it yet but it's sounds great!
I can't understand your speech during a lot of this. UA-cam's CC can't either. Your rhythm includes a lot of long, rushed, quieter parts where the syllables kind of run together. 3:33, for instance. No idea what that sentence was. CC shows it as "filled flow and import drill floss I'm using Olympic format but...". My advice would be to slow down and include more emphasized syllables to break up the syllable streams.
I am a graphic designer and 3D Motion designer for more than 20 years. I did not find a 3D program more complex than this blender. All of its tools are very complicated compared to Cinema 4D
What you present seems the enthusiasm of a blender user , frankly with the 2.80 version blender has come to age meaning is a serious choice for Professional Artists out there not only serious hobbyists at best , other than that this presentation is more like open source vs closed source , indeed C4D is a better choice for small studios and independent users but that also means other closed software usually coming from Adobe Corporations as a whole the package is harder to learn and the workflow does not seem smooth unlike blender but it is up to what you want what you need what needs to be done , Both Philosophies are quite interesting and if you like the graphics and animation field with enough time and brain investment both philosophies are most promising.
A lot of studios still use Cinema 4D over Blender, though... which is why I still feel like I'm obligated to learn it anyway, lol. But aside from that, yeah Blender is definitely an amazing tool for something that's free and I've seen people make high quality stuff with it and point out how it avoids some of the minor headaches that the industry standard tools have. Just a shame that more studios aren't integrating it into their pipeline... though I don't really understand why since it seems like everyone and their dog is using it now, lol.
Blender users got angry at you because of bias and misinformation towards one program, not because they didn't here the line "don't worry, I'll doing a why blender is better next time". All of your points were debunked quite quickly and thoroughly. You dismissed animation nodes for being an addon, yet praised x-particles , which is AN ADDON!!!(an addon which costs $300 USD). You say that C4d is easier to learn, yet this sort of thing is heavily subjective, you have a clear bias seeing as your entire channel is devoted to C4D, and you still give no facts or evidence to back up your claim. It also happens to have a $4000 learning curve, but I guess that doesn't matter too much... The same thing can be said for your UI/UX claim: extremely subjective, clear bias, no facts or evidence. You criticized blender for not having redshift or Arnold render engine support, yet glossed over the fact that v-ray and octane exist, and that redshift have literally said they are looking to get support for blender. You say that blender had no dedicated layer system, YET C4D'S LAYER SYSTEM IS JUST PARENTING OBJECTS! You have been able to do this in blender for years, collections are literally what layers are meant to be. Did you get your programs mixed up on that one buddy? You say at the end here the due to the price difference, being free compared to the various other solutions, it isn't even comparable, yet when you do compare them, you still manage to screw things up. I do not agree that blender is better in every way whatsoever, but you need to do proper research before you can day things like that and make a comparison.
Half of your "argument" relies on the premium pricing for a premium tool, and the other half relies on incompatibilities. Yes, C4D costs a lot. It's a premium, professional motion graphics tool. Yes it's addons cost a lot, they're premium, professional addons. You say there's a $4,000 learning curve, but fail to mention at all that C4D provides a fully-featured (watermark free) version of their software for free, indefinitely, for non-commercial use. Arnold and Redshift are not compatible with blender because the professional industry did not use Blender until recently, and therefore does not provide a need for compatibility. The only reason blender is moving up in notoriety above it's previous user base is because it's suddenly become cool to support the underdog. You can see a similar effect with people suddenly mainstream animating with Unity.
@@MoMCdlThe term "premium" doesn't even apply, and to call it a "professional" tool, whilst trying to insinuate that blender isn't is a little rich. Oh and you forgot to mention that your "free" release is actually just a 14 day free trial so quit it with your BS. Did we also mention that blender is open-source? All I see is someone being salty that their program isn't that great anymore.
I don't want to say which one is better than other. Every tools has their pros and cons. But the current Blender features and tools are better than the previous Blender. In my opinion, Blender has a lot of pros than others.
One Reason that Blender is better than C4D is at Animation Track Naming :/ It's always a mess to know where to name my new animation take instead of "Root|CINEMA_4D_Main|Layer0"
My only reason is, *its not 100 dollars a month* and *people who use C4D say it isnt that expensive* And yes, I'm aware the annual is 60 dollars. *Thats still expensive*. AND YES, im aware about the trial.

I use C4 since 2005, I even have installers 8, 10 and 11.5 versions, I tried to master the Blender several times because it is free. But it only leaves me with bad impressions - an inconvenient, illogical, confusing interface. And the first time I sat down for C4D in 2005-without any instructions, using only my intuition, 3 days later I had a ready-made commercial project. I mean, people have different logic, so there are different 3D editors, and everyone has their own fans.
Why would you have a 2d production pipeline in a 3d software? Why would you have video editing and compositing in a 3d application? Why not just split those into separate software?
2D production pipeline for sketching a 3D scene or make 2D animation with 3D, compositor is very helpful for export passes and effects, I agree with you about video editing.
I often use Grease Pencil for sketching out a scene or planning animations, so it's also really useful for 3D art. It's extremely convenient having all of it in one app. Even if you don't do the final version with the built-in tools, having it all together is really fast for blocking out and getting a quick result.
I used Cinema 4D, houdini, blender, maya, 3ds max I use Zbrush as my main tool, unreal, substance painter. I don't think blender is better than Cinema 4D i do think they are different. C4D is a big tool for motion graphics and if I have to say one software that is better than those is houdini Fx. It's just a beast, not for the thing you can do as a final result but for the versatility that nodes give you. If you learn how to use houdini fx without using presets you can change the output at any given time without loosing any information. Just for that houdini is the best 3D tool for motion graphics you will have.

Its rigging and animation tools are the best I've seen (although I only really know Maya's for comparison). And the Python API is powerful, flexible, and accessible.
Fair enough especially if you are on a tight schedule
I think u could learn blender if u want to but not in a serous this is going to be replacing c4d way but just to know how it works, honestly if ur good at one 3d software learning a other shouldn't be that different, but thats if u want to learn blender if not then thats good too
If you're good and comfortable with C4D then stay with it! What is limiting you?!? There is no objective better or worse in this league!
As a c4d user and new to blender i would suggesting to change the title of the vid to ...
"20 reasons blender is better than c4d"

What about MoGraph? I'm a noob to this world, but I've heard C4D is really good at MoGraph, animating stuffs, etc
@@minwuan5768 yeah blender has some bugs (fun fact the first computer bug was a moth) but cinema 4d has also bugs. In blender you can correct this because it's opensource (in cinema 4d oh I find a Addon for my problem wow 300 $).

Yes, blender is getting better and better every day, and the release of 2.8 made it amazing and is getting more advanced than other 3d programs and it is NON-PROFIT.
I love Pablo. Can't wait for 2.81 and 2.82 sculpting changes
The good thing some people can use both blender and c4d. Im a blender user and at the same time learning C4d but i still perfer blender since its free and capable of doing alot and also has a guru ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
C4Ds full integration in AE is hands down my favorite feature as a daily grinder in motion graphics. That and mograph is the boots on the ground pragmatism that isn't comparable.
AE becomes too slow when importing straight from C4D in my opinion.
I use AE a lot and that is truly one major strength of C4D over Blender. It will be interesting to see what the future brings.
The great thing is that since Blender is free, it’s easy to use both (that is if you already have C4D)
Enrico Piazza slow? Mine is really fast. U need beefy cpu.
Yup Cineware is amazing. Makes it really easy to do advanced compositing. In a Perfect world i would use Nuke or Clarisse iFX but I can’t justify the cost just yet.
Instead of fighting over this, I use both of them.
Cinema4D is easyer to use for me :D The only resone why i am still using it.

@@dphang20 Everyone is confused when they start modelling in any software. It's called learning. But yeah, Blender is known for its notoriously steep learning curve but give it a couple years, and I reckon it will dominate the competition.
Yup, 2.8 is what got me loving Blender...it's past versions had the worst interface ever, that's why a lot of people hated it, and didn't want to use it.
Dude it's not because of the blenderers that you get those dislikes it's because the fact that you literally comparing blender with c4d add-ons the only argument that it has better mograph system but not the best as you mentioned that award goes to Houdini

For this you have paid support. RedHat sell the RHEL for a lot of money so you can call a guy to go to your place solve your problem if needed.
Cinema 4D has always been the king of 3D Motion Graphics. That's where its strength lays.
True!!! It's always easy to do motion graphics in C4D. And for that Blender made use of Animation Nodes which I think is also cool!

I wish blender was better at following industrial standard w, e , r , t and alt keys and middlemouse button from the start.
the biggest advantage of c4d is its easy to use ui/ux, i have never seen any software more easy to use than c4d
Correct.
I never saw a easier software to use as Blender
@2:12 Blender's video editor is not just used for basic editing as you said. As for the smoke simulation, I believe mantaflow in blender is coming to change all that.
Momoh Nyaley yes but it’s available today. We can only compare current features. Not any IF and future features.
@@litjellyfish I see your point. But I saw someone using it in a tutorial.

Just to add to this I also belive that eevee would work great in a node based game engine such as what armory 3d is trying to do
yes exactly no one outside of the blender community has any idea including industry pros who when they see are shocked at how much is in ther.. particle systems vfx will improve as well as everything nodes, the new particle system is coming along with manterflow 2.81or2.82 but its here... animation 2020 will resolve as much for rigging animation etc as has been done by pablo on the sculpting and painting side of things.
Some other unique Blender features?
* Dynamic Paint
* The modifier system
* Integrated Python DOM scriptability, right through the whole app architecture
* The driver system
* “Animated everything”, where you can alter parameters for materials, modifiers, constraints etc right through the timeline
Just a few off the top of my head...
Why be mad... just love the tool and learn from both
I started with Cinema 4D in 2013.
What do youthink now after blender 3.1
it depend on what you work ? you don't mention in your video! for me best chose c4d the mograph and compositing with after effects no other application have it ,
Let's be honest. It's just a matter of time before something like Tyflow is either integrated in Blender or as a plugin. A complete vfx tool with cycles and real time EVEE will be hard to beat. CD4, Maya, 3ds max etc will be in a very tough position.
I agree. Still I am a little tired of the “future” talk. Maya, C4D will also evolve.

Sculpting and UV's tools are also superior in blender!
Also Blender has quite good texture painting mode so you dont have to use Substance Painter or other external software for texturing and painting on your models
you can also use cel-shading etc in your 3D in blender, blender is also getting an upgrade to its fluid etc with flip fluids, you can buy another flipfluids addon which are just a couple of things.
ok so... with blender you can do simple things the hard way ;) you just need HUNDREDS OF NODES !! VERY EASY MAN!!

Particle system! Its really worth in blender, and the geometry node base system ❤🔥
Then why you keep using Cinema 4D

I dont know why hobbyists and single PC users have it in their heads that they could possibly achieve production level smoke or explosion simulations that they see in blockbuster movies. The differences in processing and memory availability between say weta or ILMs studios and your home PC are orders of magnitude. So yea maybe you can achieve production level smoke simulation on your PC if you are happy with a rendering wait time of about a year.
Nowadays is totally possible archive in 1 computer not so expensive the same results than any major studio. Sure, you will not have a renderfarm, but overnight you can get a serious explosion going on.
Unless you are renting a Virtual Machine or Render Farm.

Can you please make a comparision for the API interface and expandability?

A lot of studios still use Cinema 4D over Blender, though... which is why I still feel like I'm obligated to learn it anyway, lol.
But aside from that, yeah Blender is definitely an amazing tool for something that's free and I've seen people make high quality stuff with it and point out how it avoids some of the minor headaches that the industry standard tools have. Just a shame that more studios aren't integrating it into their pipeline... though I don't really understand why since it seems like everyone and their dog is using it now, lol.

what do you mean cinema4x doesn't have a video editor? don't you make videos with it?
I worked with Maya, 3Ds Max and C4d. I have to say Blender is my favourite.
Totally agree

And yes, I'm aware the annual is 60 dollars. *Thats still expensive*. AND YES, im aware about the trial.

Jaycob Okpako I’m asking the same question it seems like there always mad about something I kno how to use both but c4d is king 😂😂🙌🏾
Does anyone here know how to make a good cloud in blendr
box ..volumetric ..noise texture
I always wait for your videos
Hy please tell me that which software is best for 3d cartoons?
Sorry for my bad English
i know nothing about C4D; what's the community of its users like?
the blender community is superb
All software are good, i use C4D and Blender.....anyway🔥👍
What about MoGraph? I'm a noob to this world, but I've heard C4D is really good at MoGraph, animating stuffs, etc
I probably would have different choices for 5-2, but you got #1 exactly right.
What would those Choices be?
@@jascrandom9855 I don't know C4D well enough to make an ordered list, honestly, but my favorite thing about Blender is it's lightning fast workflow, consistency, and light weight. I love its modelling tools, of course. EEVEE, Freestyle, and compositing make Blender the best tool for NPR, all in one package. Its rigging and animation tools are the best I've seen (although I only really know Maya's for comparison). And the Python API is powerful, flexible, and accessible.
All-in-one-ness is a huge feature, because even if it isn't the best for a particular task, I can save time by skipping import/export issues. It's good for prototyping.
@@josephbrandenburg4373 C4D is mostly known for Motion Graphics, and having the easiest learning curve out of all the 3d software. But yeah, in everything else, Blender kicks ass.
