Solo Moto ride around the Bay of Fundy | KTM 890 Adventure

- I went on a 2-day bike trip on my 2023 KTM 890 Adventure, taking the ferry from Saint John NB to Digby NS, and looped around the Bay of Fundy. The first day was a Heritage run, where I traced my Ancestral roots and grounds, and got to my motel in the dark. Next day was an amazing ride along the beautiful coast line, and checked out a few local beaches and sights.
I had an amazing time, the weather was a bit chilly, but kept clear most of the trip, just right to take in the scenery. I wish I had taken an extra day to tour...maybe next time!

That was a beautiful loop for sure, I plan on doing it again this summer but in the other direction. I’m loving this KTM, it has a few nice upgrades from my previous KLR. Cheers, and keep well!
The road between Parrsboro and Advocate Harbour is awesome. I’m usually blasting through too fast to take in the scenery. 😂
That’s a great loop for a weekend. Makes me want to head home.
It was such a fun loop, seemed like the views opened up around every corner and hill, I was in awe, very refreshing and rewarding. Lol, yeah I may have opened up a few times on the twisties too, good times!
I can see myself spending more time exploring that area, and staying at Fox Point or Spencer’s Island. I popped in at Cape Chignecto park, there’s a few trails there I’d like to check out too.

Thanks! It’s worth checking out for sure, funny how it’s all along the Bay but the views and landscape are so different. The Salisbury road along the river is so peaceful, that’s a great area. @@advphilnb Yes I have done it once or twice. We call it the Fundy loop. I considered starting a channel, but our local climate makes it difficult to have a motorcycle themed channel. Like your bike. Sold my BMW R100RT and bought a 2021 Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Love it Cheers
That spot at Fox Point looked so good. A great wild camp site for sure. I remember being at Horton Landing and getting a very haunting feeling there. There is such a interesting past associated to that area. Glad you got out for another good a trip man. Makes me want get back that way soon. Cheers!
Seing your adventures to that area last year definitely motivated me to check it out for myself. Thank you!! And you’re right, there’s a slight eerie feeling, but so cool to take it all in. The wind was howling and the temp dropped, it was a humbling experience for me, with reflection and respect.
Yessir, Fox Point would be a great spot for sure. I’m thinking of doing that loop again but in the other direction, and maybe explore a bit more, and take in a day adventure or two around Spencer’s Island. Cheers man, and keep well!
