- What’s up, everyone? Welcome back to another #StarWars video. Today we’re going to be going over #TheAcolyte trailer and do a breakdown. On top of that, I’ll give you some of my thoughts and ideas; since I’m a huge fan of the #HighRepublic era and I’m pretty grateful it’s being covered more. I don’t know if the show will be amazing. Hey, everyone! Took the time after editing and while uploading to look more into it! Looks like I was relatively correct on some of this stuff. Mae is definitely not the big bad; but could be soon. Maybe by the end of this she begins to actually work under the big bad? Who knows? Not me. That’s for sure. Hope you enjoyed :))

Also if this movie was set 100 years before the phantom menace, would that mean Yoda is alive?
Yeah, this show does in fact take place in a time when Yoda was alive. By the time of The Phantom Menace, Yoda is about 864, so he’s about 764 in this show. We even see him in High Republic novels in his physical prime (around 100 years prior to the show, so in his 600s and probably a bit earlier too).
I’m excited that we are getting to see a new erra of Star Wars outside the skywalker saga. A lot of the recent shows have had to stay in line with the lore but almost anything can happen in the high republic erra. Hopefully Disney capitalizes on this. (Also I busted to this video)
I do hope they do their own thing; but also stick close to the books and comics we already have. Though not much stuff covers 100 years, a lot of it is over 200 years before the Phantom Menace. So they have a lot of wiggle room. (Thank you, good sir!)
took me a bit to get to watching this cause ive been busy but on the topic of the trailer my only main concern is that they could overdo things and just screw up the lore around TPM specifically regarding Darth Plagious and his actual involvement of things. As well as keeping within the rule of 2 properly cause to deviate from that in this era wouldnt really fit well i dont think and also making sure that the jedi never learn too much as then youd just have the jedi on alert in TPM cause they would have had encounters with "the sith" within the past 100 years instead of the past 1,000 like it is stated in TPM. And to be honest if they do something like oh its everything close and up to sith. Like something like asaj ventress but then they just use the excuse that oh they arent an actual "sith" so it doesnt break the lore in TPM would just be stupid. To me that would feel like a poor excuse to just get away with doing whatever you want in a show.

I do agree with a lot of your points. To be fair though, even though that is stated by Ki-Adi-Mundi it’s pretty clear most Jedi believe NO Sith survived up until Darth Sidious revealed himself. So it could just be a Jedi misconception at the time of the prequels. Just a long held onto belief. The line “The Sith have been extinct for a millennia” could be true- but it could also be disregarding the dark side force users working to become a Sith.
Hopefully it won’t ruin anything, I truly hope they don’t disregard the rule of two and such. That would be disappointing.

I have low expectations for this show I’m not even sure I’m gonna watch I might watch some reactions.
But now that The Bad Batch has concluded which was very good despite some flaws especially them doing Scorch and the Commandos dirty.
And now with Tales Of The Empire apart from the first few episodes being especially the grievous one which was fire 🔥. But the rest mediocre at best I just genuinely don’t really have much hopes for this especially with me having such high hopes for Tales Of The Empire and it being a disappointment.
I do hope they do expand upon the 3 branches of the Jedi Order like the Sentinels 🟡, Guardians 🔵, and Consulars🟢. But I’m not optimistic I guess il have to wait and see.
