- Since they reworked staff to give Alacrity and Might, this build has stood near the top of my list as one of the most fun and rewarding classes to play in raids. Even through all the nerfs it's remained very powerful and enjoyable.

Update for the Nov 29th balance patch. The only thing which changes with this balance patch is the gear. Instead of Ritualist's, you can now run full Viper's instead. Everything else remains unchanged. Be sure to check the link to the Snow Crows build in the description of the video.
The Snowcrows benchmark is absolutely insane but not very helpfulp in teaching a darn. This video cleared up any and all questions and now I crank out 25k DPS, full Alac and CC safely. Great stuff! Thanks a load!
THANK YOU FOR THIS. i was so confused why i didn’t have any clones after the opener and it’s because i was too slow and shattered the warlocks

I love playing GS/axe/x Mirage in PvE and PvP, but this build seems to be more well thought! I'll get the gear (currently I have Berserk's) and I'll try it!

I find using Riddle of Sand is good for a small dps boost, especially if you are shattering a lot.

Historically the build existed, but now any "DPS" variant will use axe in some way. I don't think theres anything wrong with just using staff/staff on full vipers gear if you find axe tricky, since it will likely outperform a lot of other condi classes on confusion bosses.
I used full vipers for my staff mirage. If i wanna fill the spot for alac i can just use toxic maintenance crystal to boost my boon duration
Great Video! What personal food can replace ascended one?
You can use Beef Rendang instead of the ascended, its the same stat wise and only misses the lifesteal.

You're welcome! Nothing changed for staff mirage except the gear is now full vipers. You dont need any ritualist anymore.

The alac paet srill, i cant see ir =/ hard to do
So the alacrity share is only around the Mirage and not the clones?
Current and also post-29th it will be around the mirage. The alacrity will never be around the clones. The only change post-29th will be that clones affect the amount that you give (1 second base + 1 second per clone).

Is there another rune besides nightmare that will work
if you're looking for open world a few can work, but for endgame instanced content nightmare is by far the strongest.
So, how do you get regeneration?
It will usually be provided by an ally, like a heal firebrand, or if theres no source if regeneration in your subgroup you can take the Renewing Oasis trait. Just be aware that you will need to use Phantasmal Warlock into phase retreat every f2 shatter as your deception skills will no longer grant clones on cast as you've swapped off the self-deception trait.
I would actually start with F1 just to get that might and vigor. You can throw it in when you have no clones, since the F1 on mirage is weak.
True, using it after f2 is free, just gotta be sure to not shatter any warlock clones you might be about to get.
If I have to take Renewing Oasis for regen, does that mean my only way to make clones is Warlock into Phase Retreat?
yes. in this case you can cast warlock when your f2 is around 2-3 seconds of cooldown left, then shatter asap into phase retreat for 3 clones instantly.
How do I get the armor?
Just any ascended armour with vipers or ritualists stats. Best way to see all the options is to check the gw2 wiki.
