With The Police, and especially Sting actually, persisting in their refusal (or rather fear, I think) to make that much sought after new material, we - the loyal fans - have to get that job done. So take a moment for this refreshed version of 'Natural High'.
Natural High is a little gem from their very early collaboration with the German innovator Eberhard Schoener. Although you can hear Schoeners synthesizer throughout the song, it's more The Police who defines it: Andy introduces a pleasant tune and Sting singbreaks all glass around. I hope to have highlighted the pro's of the song in this remix.
The video was created only to support the audio remix. As far as I know there is no recorded performance of this song. All the footage used is on the internet and comes from their work with Schoener. Really hope you enjoy it. If you do, please leave a short message! If you don't, don't hesitate to comment too. Would love to read any comments.
And ultimately - of course - this is all for a much greater purpose. If our protagonist(s) will ever read this: Come on Sting, time is running out, gather your old friends, get crazy and MAKE THAT DAMN SIXTH POLICE ALBUM!
Still have the original album on vinyl. This song showed the incredible range of Sing's vocals.

The Police do PROG !! After Reggatta de Blanc this collaboration with Eberhard Schoener was their greatest album....The album was called "Video Magic" . If you are a Police fan and haven't heard this album you MUST get it....San Francisco Waitress is another standout from this album ....
This is kind of an oddball song but good I think I remember when it first came out, I was working as a auto parts counter man for horizon Chevrolet in naperville my girl friend was working for a dodge dealership right next door we would go out to lunch all the time it was so much fun man I miss those times I wish I could go back also my sister worked for the same Chevrolet dealership in the finance dept everything was just so perfect better times man better times

Actually just one full album: "Flashback". Andy and Sting also played on "Video-Magic" (where this track with Evert Fraterman on drums is from). Andy previously played on two other LPs, before he joined The Police. And then of course Sting narrated "Poem" from the 1986 Bon Voyage album.

Sorry but the 86 version of De Do Do Do is the biggest pile of shit I've ever heard. I loved the 86 version of DSSCTM and was so looking forward to hearing De Do, and when I finally heard it I was shocked at how bad it was.

Hello FYYC! Have you ever considered doing a mix of "Codeword Elvis" I don't imaging many people know of it and it would open them up to a truely wonderful song. And one of my favourite Sting vocals. I am a musician thanks to Sting but with Codeword being so slow I would not know where to begin. Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas if indeed you celebrate Christmas. Has 'FYYC' anything to do with what was written on Stew's drum kit back in the day ? l'd kind of remembered that as being 'FOYC', but l've likely got it wrong.
