I have a cj5 and I want to get a reverse shackle kit. It adds 1/2” extension in the front I think. Also want air bag suspension for lowering the jeep in sketchy situations.
That is one badass CJ-5, sounds really good too! I have an '05 TJ Rocky Mtn 4.0L, and it is by far thee best and most fun vehicle I've ever had. I'd rather restore a '41 - '06 Jeep than get an '07 - present day heep. Jeep Born: 1941 Died: 2006 O|||||||O 🇺🇲 Only in a 2 Dr 🇺🇲 '41 - '06
+C Venable he used a stock flywheel and clutch assembly fo a early 90s f150. There are 2 options. A 10in and 11in., use the larger it has more surface area on the disk to support more torque. He don’t remember how much he cut off the input shaft but it wasn't much, maybe 3/8 of an inch. The clutch fork and rod took some modification but a competent car guy should be able to figure out where and what has to be modified.
He got lucky he didn’t roll. Good save. Nice Cj.
Just saw the thumbnail and liked the video ♥️♥️.... I wonder why not this kinda content goes viral 🤔
+Drift King I be asking my self that, there’s a lot that I still need to learn when it comes down to UA-cam. Thanks for the like 😁

Heck yeah Jake busted his butt to get the ole cj in prime running condition and that 302 sounds sooo good
+bassment03 not bad at all for a first time after the swap. Nothing broke and it did everything he wanted to do.
Great vid gabe 👏 👍
My dad had one it dominated all the new jeeps on the trails was AMC V8

You’ll get to see more of that treat I believe he is installing 1 ton axles and stretching right now so maybe by next summer it’ll be out.
Looks like he needs lower gears and lockers.
Def lockers.. and a tiny bit wider stance.
I’m wanting to do a 5.0 in my cj5 what flywheel and pilot bushing and did he have to shorten the output shaft
