  • Kimber is well known for providing 1911's of varying price and quality over the years but when they recently introduced the K6S DASA line of revolvers, they really hit the nail on the head with a high quality and innovative revolver. So is it worth the high price? Watch this video and decide for yourself...

Does anyone else want to see Kimber try their hand at a larger 8 shot 357?

I just want an American made 8 shot 357 revolver with a 5 inch barrel that's not $1200.

@@Yoko.Kurama you're right, I forgot about the Redhawk! I know it's a beggar being choosy, but I'd love to see something in a medium frame under 30oz with 8 rounds.

The Presidential campaign is on and I’d like to remind everyone to watch the UA-cam Kamala Harris adds in their entirety and then click on the blue “donate” button when the add concludes. Then hit delete and smile because the Dems just paid the maximum for the add.😊

Very good review and thanks for sharing. I have a 686 and Ruger GP100 both in 6" and K6S Target...4" barrel. The thing that stands out the most is the trigger! From factory my K6S Target pulls 8lbs average. My smith and Ruger wont even come close. At around 600 rounds through it (about 110 rounds in 357) not a single light primer strike. The only thing I would change is the barrel length. I hope they make a 6" barrel length. Great quality revolver.

I was absolutely blown away by the K6S I handled in the LGS.
Going from an SP101 to a J frame to the K6S was night and day.

Have you had any issues with extracting issues? I've heard that it struggles sometimes because it uses the same legnth rod as the 2 inch version

Same here, I put on rubber grips for range use on my big revolvers, then wood when its not going to be shot for a while.

If it had existed when i bought the SP101 it might have been a consideration, but that was a long time ago.

Great review, I have the 3" hammer version on layaway for $900. Comes with extra hogue grip and kimber speed loader. I can't wait to pick it up. I had the snub hammerless and didn't care for the hammer less part of it. Any recommendations for holsters?

I think a 3" gives you a good compromise between minimal weight and holster footprint and ballistic performance.

I own several Taurus revolvers and semi autos, I'm going to politely disagree with you.
The good thing here, I have an M85 in blue finish. That revolver is almost comparable to my 686 and M60. I have a few others that weren't receptive to trigger work. We could never figure that angle, even with replacement springs.

You can do the same thing with a Taurus. Or are used Smith and Wesson for a lot less money.
