This is the second video I've watched of yours and this is the only time I've heard someone mention Songs of Love and Hate when talking about 10/10 albums. While I'm skeptical whether an album can truly be a 10, Songs is one of the closest for me. (better than his debut imo) Shoutout to the wheel this album needs more attention.
Glad to see you cover Symbolic! As a metal fan it's also my favorite metal album of all time, and it's so rich with instrumentation and variety. The other Death albums are also amazing, but definitely Symbolic takes the cake. Some other favorite metal albums would be Megadeth - Rust In Peace, Judas Priest - Painkiller, Opeth - Blackwater Park, Black Sabbath - Paranoid, Dissection - Storm of The Light's Bane, Cryptopsy - None So Vile, Electric Wizard - Dopethrone, and the first half of Burzum - Filosofem. As someone who's also a big fan of singer/songwriters, you should definitely check out Elliott Smith. He's my favorite of the genre and Either/Or is his best album bar-none. Great video overall! A lot of these are also my favorites, and hearing your perspective on these albums is very interesting. Can't wait to see the rest of the series.
The two records I’m glad you have a 10/10 to are The Velvet Underground & Nico (of course, my favorite album of all time) and And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out (might just be my second or third favorite)!
