Hi I’ve sold a few things through fashionphile, I think there very trusted and did the most part I do like them. however I do find they low ball you on a lot of items (I have had quoted).

Likewise I was lowball by an item I bought from them. They resold it for the same price. But I still buy from them lol
I bought the new empreinte neverfull in cognac and got a quote from them for $1500. The bag was one week old and I got for 2710 before tax. I declined and saw that they posted one from someone else for $3100… much over retail. I wanted to sell mine because i wanted the cognac speedy instead. I ended up keeping the neverfull and still got the speedy. It wasn’t worth to me to sell my neverfull for such a low amount.
I've always been low balled as well.
Absolutely Fashionphile give you the lowest possible price and then turnaround and sell your item for a premium price.
Love your new bags! I have a Montaigne MM in monogram. My first LV bag I got from Hawaii in 2018. ❤️ I have never bought on Fashionphile since some of their items are overpriced and I find better deals on FB groups or I buy new from the boutique. I have tried many times to sell my Chanel Wallet On Chain to them. It is brand new, never been used and comes with full set. They low balled me and offered $1,500. I paid $2,500 for it. That's like 40% off. I would much rather just keep it and let it sit in my closet.

Hi Jerusha. I am a frequent shopper at the Fashionphile in Carlsbad California as I live 20 minutes away. I just purchased my dream bag last week, a Birkin 30 Etain w/GH. I’ve just been staring at it everyday. Most of my experiences have been great. There have been a couple of problems with appointments. Before this last bag I purchased a Birkin 30 Black PH and when it arrived I thought it looked big. I measured it and it was a 35. Not a big deal but had to take it back and ended up getting a more expensive one. Staff is very friendly and helpful! I’ve sold about 40 items to them and I was happy with the majority of the offers. I have gotten a few very low offers and they’ve declined to purchase a few due to their inventory. Great video.
Jerusha I love your deliverance on ALL of FASHIONPHILE perks!! I refuse to buy and GIVE my hardworked money to any other resale company, ONLY FASHIONPHILE!! All my luxury SLG are bought from them...every single piece looks brand new...the cost for their items is extremely fair...when there’s a concern and I called FASHIONPHILE they have the best customer service... I wanted to get an item and one of them detoured me from buying a piece because it indeed had too many scratches, obviously I couldn’t tell by the pictures, this kind of help to me is priceless!! Fashionphile is by far the best out there! I don’t trust another place! Their website is truly the best the photos and descriptions and pricing is beyond fair and I love the layaway option for larger items. It helps so large purchases doesn’t sting as much 😂

Yes in all honesty, I’ve been collecting LV for 20+ years and I’ve noticed that the quality of the canvas & hardware is better with bags that were dated prior to 2019. I decided to sell several of my bags to Fashionphile that I wasn’t reaching for & replaced those sold pieces with purchases from them as well. I purchased the GM Montsouris backpack (rated VERY GOOD, but impeccable condition 2004), Palm Springs MM (rated VERY GOOD, nearly perfect condition 2019), Noe GM (rated EXCELLENT, brand new…couldn’t find a scratch & $400 less than LV’s price, 2018), Galleria PM (rated Excellent, impeccable condition, 2012 & GORGEOUS & my latest purchase), Montaigne GM (rated VERY GOOD with odor …no odor when received and nearly perfect accept for slight patina). My favorite aspect of Fashionphile is the ease of their return policy, the personal shoppers who pull items to answer questions before purchasing & I love that they reach out to buy back bags. I bought a bag from Fashionphile for the first time this year and it was a very easy and pleasant experience. I would certainly buy from them again in the future.
I wouldn’t advise selling with them though. I have requested quotes from them 3 times in the past and they are ridiculously low. It’s like see what people are asking for your item on eBay and they will offer a quarter of it. In Australia you can do much better selling locally with The Purse Affair.
I love fashionphile! Well buying from them, selling I guess they are competitive but all the quotes I got were low... I made more money at times on ebay, but resell is just hard in general with fees and price fluctuations.

Yeah that’s so true babe I think they using the thinner chain has made the cut more narrow on the bad and shorter so therefore Crossbody is a little too tight it kind of reminds me of the WOC

I’m actually receiving a toiletry 25 in the mail tomorrow 👏🏽 I saved around $270 and it’s in excellent condition. Can’t wait for that. Back in August I purchased an Alma BB in the monogram. I was really scared to buy that preloved but I’m glad I did. It was brand new and when I got it it was just that, brand new. I saved around $300. Came with everything box, ribbon everything. Vachetta was white AF lol scary. I purchased a Hermès Garden Party 30, let’s just say it’s my favorite and I got a great deal on it. I love fashionphile that’s my go to.

I'm quite jealous now, Jerusha... And this for two reasons: 1) The Montaigne bb in Canvas Monogram (or Empreinte leather) has been on my wish list for years. This bag is never to find on the European LV website or in the LV stores I visited in the past (UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, ...). 2) Fashionphile doesn't ship neither to Germany nor to France. 😭 I have never seen this bag in real life in Hamburg, so I can forget the idea to find it here preloved ... Oh no babe did you hate it because it didn’t fit very much because yes it is a very small little zipper pocket hence the reason I only put my car key and compact in it. Other than the fact that it’s small I feel like it really Compartmentalize is the bag don’t you agree do you miss it?

Yes I loved mine but sold it because I lost my job , and been wanting to repurchase it but Louis Vuitton upped their prices and it was already a little too pricey for me (got mine in store). I’ve looked on fashionphile but there are none in the BB size in excellent condition :(

I've had the Montaigne GM on my wish list for a long time, but I've come to the sad realization, I can only do crossbody. I think the GM will be too large for cross body, I'm thinking of picking up a fabulous mono Retiro pm, it's still quite roomy but will fine cross body. I don't know how you carry such small bags with 2 little ones, lol...I have to carry SO much stuff and I just have one kiddo :) love this little mini Montaigne! Loving your new studio!! ❣️

I love the Montaigne and have multiple ones both BB and MM. I just wish the handles didn’t flop out at a weird angle and get in the way when I use the long strap.

Hi darling yes on some items there is import tax and it’s 10% into Australia others don’t reach the threshold and it doesn’t matter if it’s a gift.

Yes I do pay import tax but do you know what I just add that on when I am looking at the prices because the import duty is everywhere and he can’t really escape even if it is gifted I’ve had a gift sent to me from the UK from another company and I had to pay tax on it and it was almost worth more than the item itself lol governments right!!!

Usually when I see an item from Fashionphile or Vestiaire it is much higher then the Retail value. Chanel Gabrielle backpack on Fashionphile is around 6K at least compared to Retail value of 3.5k. Buying and selling to preloved will always cost you a lot of money. Sometimes you see a good price but then the item has so much wear and tear. People are being misguided to overconsume with luxury goods..its not an investment. If you like luxury goods buy them to wear it and enjoy it..not to be a shopaholic.

Fashionphile sells items above retail price and it’s not always items that are discontinued or out of stock. For example, certain Bandoulier straps are marked higher than retail and are available for less on the LV site. I don’t get it. Can someone explain this to me?

Although the quality description of the product is wonderful and as described (as it should be) the quotes that they give you for your luxury items are horrendous they are in the end a business and will try to profit not 500 but thousands from your item. I totally understand your point babe. I think all you have to keep in mind here is these are not necessarily new items. They do have a gnu, to me and you items but mostly this is preowned. If you looked at every customer out there they would prefer to buy these handbags you from the boutique so to be a business they still need to cut their share.
