I am not a young girl, but I have spend my money supporting my parents before buying luxury bag/clothes when my friends are doing that and travels, I have save my money for home deposit before buying luxury bag/clothes, I have save my money to raise a young family….now in my 40s… I have started to buy luxuries for myself….certainly not endorsing over consumption (I am in the mindful camp) but at same time I am not letting someone who does not know me guilt me into not enjoying what I have already purchased or what I will purchase…all for entertainment at end of day. We all need to think independently and assess our own circumstances….in future I may also lose interest in buying luxury items but I hope I can share the joy when someone else is enjoying that knowing that I have been there and done that rather than regretting at lost opportunities when I actually could have….for now…if the girl wants to have fun the girl will have fun… love your video and so good to see someone sharing their joy as I also feel the joy. In my opinion, people buy luxury for different reasons and those who have had an “awakening” realized they were buying for “show” and to impress others. I personally could careless what others think, I buy for me and the feeling I get PERIOD! Love the LV history, legacy, quality and timelessness of the brand. Keep doing you.
I am 53 years old and loved Gucci and LV since I was a kid. I was in love with the luggage in particular. I got my first bag at 18. It was a Gucci bucket bag which I still have. I still love it. Through the years I didn’t buy luxury because I forgot about it. In my 30s I got back into it but I would only think about them if I achieved my weight loss goals. In 2018 I bought a used LV which I am using this week. In any case over 20 luxury bags later, I still love them. I have slowed down from buying again but that’s only for now. When I hear those ladies speaking about giving up their collections etc. I think that they still don’t know what they want and wonder if thy are true bag lovers. I listen to what all the UA-camrs are saying about bags and lux and take everything with a grain of salt. I buy what I want to buy and don’t sell anything because I am not about selling. I have a small collection and will only buy about 10 more during my lifetime. Slow and steady is me. The bottom line is everyone is different and they they should do what they want to do for themselves.

Congratulations! I have been getting H BAGS FOR 18 years. The first 6 years I got exactly what I wanted. 3 B35 in 6 years. It got harder after because I was offered slight variations, but I loved them. Then I wanted a K28 in Gris moutte. I was offered and took a K32 in GM GHW. I took the bag and still have it, but after that I rejected whatever was not exactly what I asked for. I became a very established client and was able to get the next 8 bags in the following 8 years were exactly what I asked for. Today things are much more difficult so getting the right size with a slight color twist you can live with is fantastic. I love all versions of grey so to me your bag is beautiful. Black really can be boring, this is just an elevated neutral. Congrats again, well done my dear.

Hi Jerusha, I have been watching your UA-cam channel since 2015!!! I love the changes, but you also keep it real with family life, health issues, luxury and such. HUGE FAN!!! Louis Vuitton was my first luxury in 1986 with a Speedy 25. It was a whopping $350 and back then was EVERYTHING. It still is and I still use it-my favorite. Have many LV's especially the backpack which I bought in New York store and the Sharon Stone limited edition "train case". Use them all. Anyway, it's not about the latest and greatest, it's about what suits your style and what you can have based on your stage in life, dollars in life etc. I have slowed down considerably. But having said that I still want to watch your channel and watch what you share. The boys (including Will) are just wonderful. Hi jerusha. I used to watch all your bag videos many years ago inc bjtaylor. Always a great watch. I have about 10 bags mostly lvs and my ultimate chanel. Ive had many over the years which ive sold on to purchase another so my collection has always been small. I dont use them all very much and have thought of selling. The internet is full of what you should and shouldnt wear but i like what i like and being 50 plus i dont care so much. I dont think i will be buying anymore bags now as i have enough so enjoy watching others excitement when new purchases are made. Keep making these videos please. I find them so interesting x

Actually Jerusha you inspired me to purchase my first Lv piece. I even remember how you started. To prove that you use to wear a tiffany bracelet and a guess watch. Imho, for what’s worth, Hermes releases the etaupe and black every year. Get a Garden Party in one of those. When Hermes does a color that is unique they will never replicate that color. It may be a shade darker or lighter but that color released won’t be seen again. I did the same thing, went in and wanted a neutral, came out with a color and now it’s rare. 😊

I am 53 years old and loved Gucci and LV since I was a kid. I was in love with the luggage in particular. I got my first bag at 18. It was a Gucci bucket bag which I still have. I still love it. Through the years I didn’t buy luxury because I forgot about it. In my 30s I got back into it but I would only think about them if I achieved my weight loss goals. In 2018 I bought a used LV which I am using this week. In any case over 20 luxury bags later, I still love them. I have slowed down from buying again but that’s only for now. When I hear those ladies speaking about giving up their collections etc. I think that they still don’t know what they want and wonder if thy are true bag lovers. I listen to what all the UA-camrs are saying about bags and lux and take everything with a grain of salt. I buy what I want to buy and don’t sell anything because I am not about selling. I have a small collection and will only buy about 10 more during my lifetime. Slow and steady is me. The bottom line is everyone is different and they they should do what they want to do for themselves.

Your rant is very correct! The same happiness that you want to keep is what all of us out here watching you still have and still want also. With any genre, there’s those people that play that smoking mirrors game. All of us ladies still love those logos and still love that canvas and are not going to stop. Congratulations! I have been getting H BAGS FOR 18 years. The first 6 years I got exactly what I wanted. 3 B35 in 6 years. It got harder after because I was offered slight variations, but I loved them. Then I wanted a K28 in Gris moutte. I was offered and took a K32 in GM GHW. I took the bag and still have it, but after that I rejected whatever was not exactly what I asked for. I became a very established client and was able to get the next 8 bags in the following 8 years were exactly what I asked for. Today things are much more difficult so getting the right size with a slight color twist you can live with is fantastic. I love all versions of grey so to me your bag is beautiful. Black really can be boring, this is just an elevated neutral. Congrats again, well done my dear.

Hi Jerusha, I have been watching your UA-cam channel since 2015!!! I love the changes, but you also keep it real with family life, health issues, luxury and such. HUGE FAN!!! Louis Vuitton was my first luxury in 1986 with a Speedy 25. It was a whopping $350 and back then was EVERYTHING. It still is and I still use it-my favorite. Have many LV's especially the backpack which I bought in New York store and the Sharon Stone limited edition "train case". Use them all. Anyway, it's not about the latest and greatest, it's about what suits your style and what you can have based on your stage in life, dollars in life etc. I have slowed down considerably. But having said that I still want to watch your channel and watch what you share. The boys (including Will) are just wonderful. Thanks for having a calm and level headed platform and being someone who truly enjoys life. Also Jillian is the best. xoxoxox

Hi jerusha. I used to watch all your bag videos many years ago inc bjtaylor. Always a great watch. I have about 10 bags mostly lvs and my ultimate chanel. Ive had many over the years which ive sold on to purchase another so my collection has always been small. I dont use them all very much and have thought of selling. The internet is full of what you should and shouldnt wear but i like what i like and being 50 plus i dont care so much. I dont think i will be buying anymore bags now as i have enough so enjoy watching others excitement when new purchases are made. Keep making these videos please. I find them so interesting x

Imho, for what’s worth, Hermes releases the etaupe and black every year. Get a Garden Party in one of those. When Hermes does a color that is unique they will never replicate that color. It may be a shade darker or lighter but that color released won’t be seen again. I did the same thing, went in and wanted a neutral, came out with a color and now it’s rare. 😊

I am a very low level UA-camr and put out videos just because I love bags so much (and because I have no one in my life to talk to about them as hubby, friends and family couldn’t care less about bags 😂) and whenever there’s a new video trend my feed is filled with similar videos and I end up thinking “should I do a similar video?” But I’ll stick to my WIMB videos despite their dwindling popularity 🤣 I’m not good at rolling with the times haha.
