It amazes me how many of these little tool projects of yours that I keep running into after digging through so many of your videos. Good to still find stuff I have not seen but will definitely use.
And let the file arguments begin !!! I actually always drag my files on soft materials to help clear the chips so i can take a good chip per tooth. i find that my files last longer for it and the job gets done faster (of course all my info is anecdotal).
I don't think it would change anything as it bends all along that point with just one. I think more would just bend it out to the furthest screw. but I have never tried it.
Q #3 Jim... If there was two, 1/2 diam. slots cut into the ends of the blade as registers, would there be anything gained? I realise you would be sacrificing the ends as possible scraping edges.
I have never had an issue with the card slipping out so I don't think it would help much plus you would have to unscrew the bolts all the way to get it on and off. With it this way you just have to loosen it and they come out.

Make your own card scraper from any old saw IE panel saw it's spring steel and you can make any size or shape you want.
Right on. I have several videos showing making them as well as making curved and shaped scrapers as well.
